dancing_on_hyenas sheesh, and i thoguht 9 was high! but there's a sweet new deal at my movie theater- from 4-6 pm is 4 bucks! thats the only time i go now. 3nodding blaugh There is a movie theater near to where my parents live that charges 3 dollars a ticket all Tuesday and when you by any drink on Tuesdays, you get a medium popcorn free.

I live in a tourist town so everything is an arm or a leg....but once a year the theatre has a costomer appreciation week where all tickets are free! heart (popcorn still costs more than I make in an hour though....)

On Fort Knox the movie theater shows at least three movies for free, including a serving of popcorn and drink, a month. And get this, each of these movies are shown before their official release to the public.

Geba_00 *GASP* You lie!!! Really? eek The military has influence everywhere. It is amazing what many large corperations, including those in the film industry, will do when the military suggests they should do something to provide for the entertainment of troops.

Geba_00 crying I knew I shoulda joined the military!!!! Lol, you don't have to be in the military or even a dependent to see the movies. All you have to do is be able to get onto the base. That will likely require a complete vehicle search, but it is as easy as that. I always seem to be busy when they show movies. They are showing Sahara this weekend actually, but I won't get to see it.

Also, many bases, especially Fort Knox, are surrounding will all kinds of firing and artilery ranges. You wouldn't wanna walk in. I don't know if you could walk in through the gate. It would be kinda weird for you not to have a vehicle and be trying to get on post without a military ID.

yeah, the theater on post is the best. it is always too crowded when the do free movies though
