"Sorry, I must have confused you there. Pawns only move diagonally when they try to capture a piece, otherwise they must move forward the entire time."

The ships she had chosen were the St. Denis, the Le Loup-Garou, and the Le Republique. Riddle placed his four ships, the HMS Wycliffe, the HMS Algiers, the HMS Meresmen, and the Black Lotus on the floor and got out a stack of islands and terrain. He placed 12 islands on the floor, and three gold at each island, then gave Kitty an island and placed one on the floor by himself with the ships around it.
"That would be your home island. Take any gold you find on the wild islands and place it back there. Some of the gold though, is unique treasure. I'll explain when you get one. The game ends when all the treasure is found and whoever has the most wins. You can also win if you make all my ships derelict, or if you sink the ship with the end token. I win if I do the same before you do. I'll explain other things when we go along. Ready?"
Riddle rolled the dice to see who went first.

"Umm...you're supposed to roll too, the one who has the higher goes first."

"Alright..."
He quietly looked at his pieces, then moved the pawn in front of his left bishop forward.

"Looks like I go first. Alright, to move, all you do is look at the ship's movement, which is the one with the ship with the arrow through it, then turn over the card, and move it according to the letters next to it. S is the white one, and it means short, and the other L, obviously Long, is the red one. I'll start with the Black Lotus."
He flipped over the Black Lotus's card and turned his ship around, then moved it toward the closest island to him.

Takato took his bishop and moved it diagonally to the left of him one space. He wasn't going to take chances of being killed yet, and there was still a Knight in the way to protect it without it being taken.

((Okay...Pirates=too hard to explain in some times, with moving and such, and chess, without a gameboard, we can't see where we're moving our pieces so...FAST FORWARD!! *punchs fast forward button*))

About an hour passed since both games started. Even with using his first ships, Riddle still won. Takato and Autumn's game of chess ended in a stalemate. Soren won in Monopoly, and Clourio, as usual, won in Trivial Pursuit. Now it was about 4:00, and the snow was still outside. Takato looked at it longingly. Riddle knew what he was thinking. He walked over to Takato.
"You really want to play, don't you?"
"Yeah. The forts are even still there, even Ryo and Liberty's superfort."
"Then let's play. We'll play in teams too."
"Alright."
Riddle turned to the rest of the group.
"Everyone, come outside."
Riddle grabbed his cloak and put it on, then walked outside.

((Actually, Hououzas aren't really affected by the cold.))

Strangely, Takato walked out without a coat on. He stepped into the snow and started onto his fort, inviting Autumn over to join him. Riddle stepped into another, opposite of Takato's, and invited Kitty into his. Shona and Clou Wind looked to Riddle, who pointed to the fort on the farthest one.
Dragy took the last one, and Clourio, Melrin, and Soren created a snow fort of their own. They all seemed to get it, except Kitty and Autumn. No one moved for a moment, before a snowball was flung from Dragy's base, towards Riddle. Riddle ducked behind the fort, and soon snowballs were flying from everywhere.

"I'd be careful. Only your daughter and you can't use magic."
And as if on cue, a large wave of snow flew towards Riddle's fort. Riddle pulled Kitty underneath with him, as it crashed over the top of his fort.
"Dang...so close."
Dragy laughed, then sent another wave towards Takato and Autumn.
"I guess I should explain...you can use any sort of attack, but it has to be snow only, no getting a snowblower. And you can't defend, just counter. So if I thew a snowball at Takato, he could try to retaliate with a snowball back, but he couldn't create a wall of water to protect himself."

Riddle nodded, then grinned evilly. He jumped up and launched a wave of snow back.

Takato threw a barrage of snowballs at Riddle's parents base.
