You want to fix me, push me Into your fantasy You try to give me sell me A new personality Lily was happy when she found Ms. Hanson. When asked where he mother was she replied, "In her room. She told me to come here." Lily liked Emma Hanson. She seemed nice to her. She threw out her arms to be picked up. She always felt better when her mother picked her up.
Rose was making her way down the hall, beginning to be able walk and half-jog again. She was trying to get to Silas's room. She hoped her wold be able to take care of the student who had intruded in her room and he would probably help her not to have a panic attack. She knew that she was fine, but after what had happened, she could not shake the feeling of terror that always came whenever powers were used on her.You try to lift me I don't get better What’s making you happy Is making me sadder In your golden cage

'I need to hear too. I'll kill people if this doesn't get sorted out. I already did kill someone. Whatever you need to say, you should just say it. I can't control the invisible thing and if anyone touches me, I'll kill them without meaning to.' These thoughts plus Willow's impatient remark made Casidhe sigh as she turned back to the fellow Defiant. "Fine, if you want Miss Invisible to hear." She lowered her voice anyway. "Our powers are being controlled by machinery. It's hidden in the infirmary - where, as you know, we don't go if we can't help it." Conrad looked up in surprise. Machinery? It was something he could handle. "If you guys can get me there and keep me covered, I'll take care of it."

Blood feeds us all in one way or another
Eliza considered the possibilities. Yes it was completely possible and absolutely feasible that machinery was controlling their powers. It also made sense that it would be hidden in the infirmary. Rarely did people go into there willingly, if ever. And the infirmary was designed to be somewhat above the Cells, where power was useless. But she had never considered why.
Could the powers be feeding the machines? Oh god... Eva. "Alright. But we need to find out way more before we go poking around in something that could permanently cripple us." As much as she really wanted to just jump in and end it all, she said "We need to be smart right now."
My meaning is just more literal There was a man who lived in Leeds; He filled his garden full of seeds. And when the seeds begin to grow, it was like a garden full of snow Emma picked up the small girl and balanced her on her hip, as she had seen Lily's mother do many times before. "Perhaps we should go look for her. It's not safe for you to be wandering the halls alone." At least... not in this school at this point in time. Everything seemed to be falling apart. It was no place for humans to be, never mind a child. We should really just lock the school up and let them handle it themselves. We're putting the teachers at risk for something that's biting us in the butts. And when the door begins to crack, it's like a penknife in my back. And when my back begins to bleed... I'm dead, dead, dead indeed!

They painted up your secrets With the lies they told to youAnd the least they ever gave you Was the most you ever knew Abby suddenly turned visible again. The crystal reappeared in her hand, warm from its recent use. "What about trying to pull the plug? The machines must be based electrically. They could use our powers like a battery, but it would need electricity to fully run right? Why not just unplug it and take the battery part?" she asked.
And I wonder where these dreams go When the world gets in your way What's the point in all this screaming? No one's listening anyway

Blood feeds us all in one way or another
Eliza thought about it, and didn't like the list of possible consequences that came to mind. "I don't like the idea. It could end badly, very badly. Whoever built it, be it teachers or the government scientists, probably built in a defense against being simply shut down." She shook her head, erasing some of the more gruesome ideas that came to mind. "I still say we should find out more."

You want to fix me, push me Into your fantasy You try to give me sell me A new personality Lily nodded, wishing that her mother was already there. "Why isn't it safe?" she asked, already on the verge of forgetting the student.
Rose found herself somewhere she could sit and collect herself. she was wedged behind a statue in a dark little cubbyhole. She wanted to get up and continue to Silas's room, but she just cold not bring herself to do it just yet. It seemed so much safer to sit there and hide. You try to lift me I don't get better What’s making you happy Is making me sadder In your golden cage

There was a man who lived in Leeds; He filled his garden full of seeds. And when the seeds begin to grow, it was like a garden full of snow Emma smiled softly at the child. "So curious for on so small." She said, scanning the room adjacent to the hall for Rose. "Things are changing and I bet some people just don't know how to handle those changes. When people can't control themselves, they lash out." She explained as best as she could without giving away too much to Lily's small ear.
Children, even one as smart as Lily, had tendencies to open their mouths when best kept shut. This was a secret among the teachers. It will also protect her in the long run. No one has the heart to hurt a seemingly innocent child. She had learned that one from experience.
But when she had learned, they were only focusing on the physically pains that scar for a day. They didn't recognize the emotional and mental pains that scar for lifetimes. Poor mom and dad... why did you have to leave? Childhood memories were coming back, swarming her head. And when the door begins to crack, it's like a penknife in my back. And when my back begins to bleed... I'm dead, dead, dead indeed!

You want to fix me, push me Into your fantasy You try to give me sell me A new personality "Why not? Don't things always change? Momma always says things are different all the time," Lily replied. She could recall too many times where she asked Rose why she did something, like flinch when some people used their powers and nobody else did, and the reply was always 'Because things are different for me.'
Lily felt a pressure in her head. It was beginning to hurt, but not like her head had hurt before. It was intense and pressured, but not the stabbing pain of before. All of the sudden, it disappeared. It was replaced with images that made no sense. She felt a strange powerful feeling though. All the rest of her was numb, but she did feel powerful.
Rose finally managed to step from behind the statue. She began to make her way to Emma Hanson's room. That was where she had sent Lily and, despite never wanting her, she did still love her.You try to lift me I don't get better What’s making you happy Is making me sadder In your golden cage

There was a man who lived in Leeds; He filled his garden full of seeds. And when the seeds begin to grow, it was like a garden full of snow Emma shook her head, a habit of hers when she remembered the death of her family. She had been a child at the time, sitting the back of a car. Her mother was reading a book, she always did. And her father was driving and talking on the phone. She remembered, he dropped the phone and the car stopped suddenly. The air bags in the front deployed and wrapped around her parents' faces, struggling them. She jumped out of the car, panicked and screaming. She had been 4, the same age as Lily was now.
"Things are always changing slowly, but sometimes they change quick and no one knows how to deal with it." She said after a moment, giving herself a moment to clear her mind of those painful things. She blinked back the tears. "Any idea where your mom went? This is her room..." It was empty, considering she didn't teach this period. "Rose?" She called out, in both the room and the surrounding hallways. And when the door begins to crack, it's like a penknife in my back. And when my back begins to bleed... I'm dead, dead, dead indeed!

You want to fix me, push me Into your fantasy You try to give me sell me A new personality The feeling that surrounded Lily grew stronger. The images made no sense, a car, white in the front seats, screaming, but she pushed them to the back of her mind.
Rose heard her name called. "Over here!" she called back as she moved towards the sound. She rounded the corner to find Emma holding Lilly. A little wave of nausea hit her as she moved close to them, but she tried to ignore it with increasing difficulty.
The faces of familiar people flashed in her head. They had all been people she was involved with, but they kept blurring and changing. It occurred to her where they came from. Her breath caught in her throat. "Hello," she croaked out, trying to get her throat to work. You try to lift me I don't get better What’s making you happy Is making me sadder In your golden cage

Emma considered expression emotion here as a comfort thing and that was good right? She honestly sucked with emotions. Emma shifted the girl and set her down on the ground. "You sound terrible." She pointed out, which she deemed rather stupid. And when the door begins to crack, it's like a penknife in my back. And when my back begins to bleed... I'm dead, dead, dead indeed!

You want to fix me, push me Into your fantasy You try to give me sell me A new personality Rose picked up Lily and swung her onto her hip in the familiar way she always did. "I'm fine," she said in a somewhat fake tone. "I think it's just because of the little shock I got from a student," she said, trying to brush off the feeling. "You look as though you've just seen a ghost yourself."
Lily's powerful feeling began to fade. Before too long it was completely gone. She wondered where it went but thought maybe it would be something interesting to explore when her mother was teaching or something. You try to lift me I don't get better What’s making you happy Is making me sadder In your golden cage

There was a man who lived in Leeds; He filled his garden full of seeds. And when the seeds begin to grow, it was like a garden full of snow Emma nodded solemnly as Rose mentioned something about ghosts. The images about her family had, not old come out of nowhere but, really shaken her. She hadn't thought about them in the longest time and that alone made her feel awful.
"Shocked by a student? Are you sure you're alright?"Emma asked, placing her hands on her hips. And when the door begins to crack, it's like a penknife in my back. And when my back begins to bleed... I'm dead, dead, dead indeed!

"The best way to find out more would be to inspect the machinery itself," Conrad said. "I could look at it without touching it and make an analysis, even if I ended up concluding that I would need more information before jumping in. Can you see the machines without getting too close?" Casidhe gestured at herself. "How'd you think I'm still alive? I've seen it close, but I'm not hurt." A sudden thought occurred to her. "Don't forget, though, if I lose my powers it doesn't have a physical wear on me, since mine only have to do with the mind.""Same here," Conrad said. "Besides getting really tired, I mean. So I should be safe around it. All we'd need to do is get me behind the curtains, and have some of you as lookouts. It may take several trips, but it's worth it."

Blood feeds us all in one way or another
" As much as I'd love not having the more physical aspects of my powers for a little while, I have a feeling that those with active powers shouldn't go near the machines." Eliza said, trying to hold the rip on her glove closed. "If my powers knocked a guy into a coma after that little break, I don't want to see what would happen actually being any closer to those." She had too much at risk, like the entire student body. The teachers were on their own with this. "But I can lure the nurses away for some time." An idea came to her mind and intrigued her. It would definitely keep them busy...
