After quite a while, the black cat finally managed to calm down. Atropos sat sprawled over the chair, gently stroking the cat's back.
"Miss?" Acacia's voice called out from the hallway.
"No one's coming..." Atropos called back. "You can keep the spirits inside, but there is no fear of anyone being killed. It'll just be easier for the witch to move everything. Keep Cerberus close to the castle."
Acacia gave her a little bow, and turned to start back down the hallway. She stopped short and glanced back at her. "Will you be staying for very long?"
"I don't require anything." she replied.
Acacia nodded and went back down the hall.
Atropos glanced back, carefully brushing her curtaining hair away from her face. Two brown eyes remained fixed on the hallway before turning back to the cat. She smiled sympathetically down at him and held him closer. "So much for being one of the great and wise Omnics."
"Shut up." C.C. growled. "I'm in the body of a ************* cat. Instinct just takes the wheel on these things."
"You were born of two Enric's, correct? So all of that power plus knowledge should surely..."
"Can't do a damn thing about it..." he sighed. "If I could make my old body, I'd have done it years ago. But, nope. I'm fated to be in this creature's body. There is a "What If" kind of plot where I do get my body back, but that's not going to be a cannon thing." he said.
And then C.C. paused for a moment in thought, his eyes glazing over with some uncertain emotion. The kind of look he usually got when he was debating if he should do something. The kind of something that could turn the entire world around as the universe knew it. Er...in this case change a plot around in a way that it would have drastic results.
...ah, the hell with it.
"Speaking of possible futures that could have been....but can never be on account of rain...." the cat said slowly. A faint, but none-the-less wicked Cheshire grin wrapping around the edges of his mouth.
Atropos stopped petting him and gave him an odd look. "One of those Omnic predictions you're all so famous for?"
The cat looked up at her, his eyes languid and his smile now not so faint. "You could say that. As a matter of fact, yes. Yes it is." he said. With that he sat up, trying to sit as straight and as regal as the feline body could allow him. "So it would be wise to take my words as fact, and heed my warning. For deaf ears could prove to be a fatal disability."
Atropos looked at him, then snorted and placed a hand over her mouth to hide her giggling.
C.C.'s ears fell back and his smile vanished.
"I'm sorry...*choke*. It sounds so good to hear something familiar. That might as well have been your clan's personal quote. But....*snort*. Coming out of a form like that...." Atropos apologized between giggles.
C.C. made a face. "Do you want to know what I know or not?"

Quite some time passed before Acacia returned to the throne room. Everyone was inside, Cerberus was in place, everything should be ready now. Now she just needed to check in on the goddess and….
There was no one in the room. Absolutely no one.
Acacia blinked and looked around the room one more time to make sure there was no one around. Then she turned and called towards one of the wandering spirits that was supposed to be stationed in this particular area. The floating orb admitted that he had no idea where the woman and cat had gone. The cat had been talking to her. Then, the woman just jumped off the throne and both had vanished.
Acacia frowned and nodded, then turned and walked back down the hall. Well…not much she could do then. She'd just have to wait for the Master to return and let him know that all of his guests have left

[Enter Blackheart] Blackheart
The Black King  "We enjoy the night, the darkness, where we can do things that aren't acceptable in the light. Night is when we slake our thirst." The castle of Mephisto, or known to others as the Castle of the Devil. Painted blood red, fitting after the amount of blood that was shed because of this one being. Standing in front of the castle was Mephisto's only son, Blackheart.
Blackheart grinned an evil smile, as the heat and light from the nearby river of fire washed over him. It may have been the smile or maybe it was the fire river. Something about Blackheart screamed death, and it was well known he had an evil intention in mind.
Blackheart cracked his knuckles, before reaching out towards the castle. His fingers wrapped around an invisible object, as if he was actually gripping something. Concentrating his mind, he called upon his powers as he moved his hands away from each other. The castle shook with great force, as the walls began to rip away from each other. Inside the sounds were a mixture of collapsing walls, a scream, and some demonic growl. With one last motion, the entire castle ripped in half, and crumbled to the ground.
Blackheart smiled a devilish smile as a sound wind past by him. Quickly turning to his father, Mephisto. Mephisto's eyes burned with power and hatred as he opened his mouth to speak. Before a single word could escape his lips, Blackheart landed a strong punch to his face. The punch's force was so strong, that it sent the devil flying backwards, landing into the lake of fire itself. "Better to rule in hell than serve in heaven."

Blackheart
The Black King "We enjoy the night, the darkness, where we can do things that aren't acceptable in the light. Night is when we slake our thirst." Raising from the depths of the lake, Mephisto looked like something out of a horror film. The fire dripping off his shoulders and body as he walked out of the lake. His eyes burning with decades of hatred stored away for this one moment. His lips curled as he spoke, "You arrogant little brat. I raised you from a mere child, gave you powers you couldn't imagine. Now you wish to use them against me! How dare you! You'll regret this mistake when I rip your heart from your body."
Blackheart's smile vanished as he listened to his father's words. After everything Mephisto just said, there was only one thing Blackheart had to say, "Father, you are foolish, weak, and pathetic. You do not deserve to rule any longer. It is time you retire and pass the mantel on to the new generation of Evil."
The two stared each other down for what seemed like an eternity. Then finally, they leaped towards each other. Grabbing each other in mid-air, they traded blows back and forth, tumbling through air. Quickly, Blackheart kicked free of Mephisto as his father feel to the ground hard. Using the time he created himself, he created a small ball of darkforce energy in his hand. Then in a blink of an eye he tossed it towards Mephisto. The ball hit Mephisto, sending a shock wave throughout the ground, kicking up tons of dirt.
Mephisto groaned a bit as he lifted himself from the hole that was created. He glanced around as the dust settled, looking for his son. There was no signs of him. Turning around, suddenly Blackheart appeared as he grasped Mephisto's throat. He tightened his grip, before teleporting them out of hell. "Better to rule in hell than serve in heaven." ((Finally getting around to this!))
[Enter Carol Ferris from Latveria]
A bright flash of orange light spontaneously erupted inside of Hell, and Carol Ferris, Queen of the Zamarons and leader of the Star Sapphire Corps, fell out of it, on her hands and knees.
"Ow... where the Hell am I?" she asked, looking around and using her ring as a light source; it was rather dark.
What she saw, however, was an enormous, three-headed dog in front of her.

The beast turned it's full attention towards Carol, and growled. A deep, threatening growl that shook the very grounds of the tunnel.

"Ohhhh no..." Carol said, backing up a bit. "Good doggie, good doggie..."
And then a thought hit her: If that Blue Lantern could use Hope to calm down a giant monster... couldn't she do the same with Love? So, Carol flew up into the air and went to the dog's middle head, petting his snout and letting her aura of Love reach out to the creature.
"I'm not going to hurt you," she said gently.

The creature tensed up and growled more threateningly as Carol floated up to it. It was a second away from opening it's massive jaws and snapping her in half......when it......suddenly didn't feel so threatened.
The middle head let out a small whimper sound and looked at her. The other two heads looked at her curiously.

Carol smiled a bit more and began to go to each head in turn, scratching each one behind one of their enormous ears.
"There, you're not so upset now, are you?" she asked the mythical beast.

Each head began to calm down completely. The last relaxed enough that it started panting as Carol scratched it's ears.

Carol smiled even further now, and flew in front of the beast.
"Can you take me to your master, boy?" she asked, as this was obviously Cerberus and, being the intelligent woman she was, Carol figured out she was in the Underworld.

The beast barked once, then turned and carefully began trodding down the hall. After a few turns, it came to a large opening that led to a massive underground valley. There was a large field surrounding a few hut-like buildings, and a large black castle in the center of it all.

Carol nodded, and gave each head a kiss on the nose in thanks before flying gently down into the valley.
"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for I am the baddest ******** in the valley," Carol said to herself with a grin on her face, looking around for Hades or one of his servants as she approached the castle.
