Aki waits a moment waiting for any more questions, then nods and turns the projector off.
"Alright then, if you think of any questions remember them and feel free to ask me at the beginning of next class. Speaking of which, I have a special surprise for you next time. We are going on a field trip to Trabia! So make sure you have your weapons, and meet at the docks in Balamb at precisely 0845 hours. The boat will leave at 0900, so don't be late! Class dismissed!" Aki says cheerfully.
As the students begin to shuffle awake and grab their things, she remembers something.
"Oh, and will Caine and Yami please stay for a moment, I'd like to talk to you both," she says, beckoning them to approach her desk before sitting down and sipping her coffee.

Caine had stayed pretty silent throughout the class. He didn't really know much on the subject, so he preferred to listen and takes notes. When Aki announces they were going on a field trip though, he gets excited and shouts, "Awesome!"
His excitement wavers slightly however when Aki asks to see him and Yami. He knew it had to be about Blank's class... Caine grabs his things and slowly makes his way up to the front, giving Aki a small smile.

Aki looks up at Caine as he approaches her desk, her demeanor suddenly turning very stoic and professional.
"I'm sure you know this is about your actions in Instructor Frostberg's class the other day. Seeing as you continued to disobey a faculty member and continually sexually harassed another, a form of punishment is in order. If you were a SeeD, you would have been demoted considerably, however you are not. I thought about barring you from the exam, but I've decided to give you another chance to prove you actually want to be at this school.
So your punishment is two months of cafeteria duty; one month as punishment for disobeying, and the other for the harassment. You will report to the cafeteria every day after you are done classes and you will work in the back with the cafeteria staff until they dismiss you for the evening. I don't want to hear any arguments or complaints about your punishment, for you are lucky it isn't worse. Do you have any questions?" Aki says, no hint of a smile on her face anymore.

"Good. You may go then," Aki says with a dismissive nod.
She turns her gaze to Yami, waiting for him to approach her.

Yuna stands up from her seat. She picks up her things and leaves the classroom with a smile. She enjoyed this class a lot more than she thought she would.

Yami had his eyes fixated on his lap the entire lesson and thus distracted, didn't hear a word of it. He looked up a bit shocked as class was ending and the Headmistress had wanted to speak with him. Slowly, the man got up from his seat and made his way to Aki's desk, still gripping his upper left arm with his right hand. "Yes ma'am?..." Only a moment had he stared her in the eyes before averting his gaze to a corner on her desk.

Aki feels kind of sorry for Yami when she sees how down he seemed to be, but duty called and she had to deal with the events of the other day.
"Well, if you haven't guessed already, this has to do with your punishment for what happened in Blank's class the other day. I know he said that he was going to demote you eleven ranks, but I felt that was a little harsh considering how many people were actually involved in the scene all together. So I've decided to demote you five ranks instead, and put you on probation. Meaning your actions will be monitored and if there is any more misconduct the penalty will be more severe. But with some good behaviour and a positive attitude, and depending on how things go on this upcoming mission, I bet you can easily make up the lost ranks and get yourself off probation.
And just so you know... Blank has been punished too. He has been demoted by three ranks and his teaching license is temporarily suspended. An example needs to be set for all students and SeeDs at this school, and even Blank cannot get away with misconduct, despite any relations he has to me. I hope you agree that the punishment is fair on both parties and won't object, because you are really lucky I was able to talk Blank out of a much worse punishment."
Aki looks up at him for a good long moment, trying to catch his eye with a warm, encouraging look. He may have been a trouble maker, but he wasn't a bad person. He had just had a hard life, much like she had, and he just handled it in a different way. In fact, Aki herself would have been a completely different person if it hadn't been for the friends she made at Trabia, so she was certain all Yami needed was a little kindness as well as some discipline.
"Do you have any questions Yami?" she asks, giving him a small, yet warm smile.
