  Crysella looked up as a familiar voice filled the room. She vaugly heard the word free, to which she tryed to pay closer attention. But her head was spinning and her body ached, which didn't help at all.... She didn't really hear anything else, she did however hear the last part, about putting her back.... And now the torturers were... taking that strange contraption out of her. Her breathing quickened for a moment, what was going on? Her eyes widened and she wriggled slightly in her restraints, not doing anything that would attract any attention to herself, she wasn't quiet sure what was going on but she was most definitely not adverse to those needles being removed. Her gaze ran around the room and she spotted Tod, her eyes narrowed and she gave him a death glare, of course she didn't know he was the reason she was being freed, she just knew she REALLY hated him right now. Everything that had just happened to her was linked with him in her mind, everything that had happened to her parents was linked with his father... The sins of the father... Good phrase, but not really the best for Tod's image in her mind. She didn't say anything however, she didn't think she could speak anyways. Her bath day had been ruined, she looked like s**t. Tear streaks down her face, her hair was ******** up as hell and a slick sheen of sweat covered her whole body.

 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------Crysella was freed of her restraints and soon the bigger of two torturers was handing her off to Tod's burly entourage.
Tod looked at her listlessly and made sure the two men took her out the door. Tod was focusing on his breathing. He had asked to be the one to escort Crysella back to the murk. In the state she was in now, she wouldn't be the slightest danger.
In fact the timing for her capture couldn't have been more perfect. There was actually an even more, pressing matter at hand...and obviously everyone would be focused on that instead of some innocent murk girl.

Crysella was taken down and she nearly slumped to the floor, the bigger of the two torture dudes passed her off to two other huge guys and they half walked half dragged her out of the place. She didn't look around, she didn't care what was going on really, she was hopeful that they would let her go... or kill her that would be nice too. Just no more torture. She couldn't take any more of that.
Luckily something had happened and she was being let go, she didn't know what for but she wasn't going to complain. she looked up, hopeful now as the gates grew closer.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------Eventually they were all at the wall separating the Empire from the murk. There was an entrance way, something Tod had just been made aware of.
They sat Crysella sown against the wall and Tod ordered the two men back to the building so he could be alone with the girl.
Tod looked down at Crysella, and plopped onto the floor his legs automatically going Indian style.
"We should wait here a little, before you go in. I don't want you getting eaten by monster things right after I saved you."

Walking, walking, walking... they were moving away from the gate which nearly set Crysella into a panic. Or it would have if she would've had any energy left. Instead she just went with it, lucky thing for her she did because soon she found herself leaning up against a wall, the guards walking away and Tod sitting there next to her. She looked at him glaring despite his words. She still didn't trust him, and she certainly didn't trust that they would have left Tod alone with her. So it wasn't as if she could say anything. "Whatever." she said and stood up, leaning against the wall for support. She quickly scanned her surrounding, looking at the wall and sighing. "How the ******** do I get out of here?" she said, looking at Tod.

"I'm not going to tell you till I think it's safe enough for you to go out there by yourself." Yeah because if he did tell her how to get out from this section of the gate, dumb b***h would like, run for it while she was handicapped then get eaten!
And if she decided to abandon this area, she'd never get out, because the usual meeting spot of theirs was miles away--and honestly, b***h didn't know the Empire well enough to make it there without getting caught and tortured again.

Crysella growled in exasperation and shook her head, "I'll be fine Tod. I don't want to be in this hell hole any longer than necessary. I'll make it home just fine." Yeah cause she could always call Simba and he would certainly make sure she made it home. And she was going to have to relocate and everything now. She shook her head and sighed, she really didn't want to have to move again. She had finally found a stable house, aka one that didn't collapse in on itself when it rains.

"You know you're really grateful." The spiteful sarcasm was beautifully instilled.
She was a b***h! Sure she had ended up being tortured and that ******** sucked, but it was her own fault. She was the reason she had gotten caught! She was the one who freaked out on him for no reason at all! And even after, Tod had saved her sorry a**, hell he was still looking out for her, and this was the thanks he got?
A pleasantly worded ******** off?
No. That wasn't okay and Tod was not down with this s**t.
He had gotten punched in the face because of her too! Dumb b***h didn't know s**t!
"Amber, you shut up and be happy I saved your a**."

Crysella looked at him a frown etched into her face, her arms crossed over her chest as she leaned against the wall. Her eyebrow raised and she shook her head. "I am grateful Tod, I'm just a little freaked out at the moment if you couldn't tell.. Being put through intense pain usually does that to a person." she sighed and looked down at the ground. "I just want to go home..." she said quietly, more subdued now.

His brain hurt a lot damn it! Here was was trying his best, and she wasn't working with him at all! She had been tortured and that sucked balls, but death was surely in the distance if she went into the murk like this.
Couldn't animals like, tell if there was another wounded one or something? Tod didn't know that much about animals to be honest, mostly because there weren't any in the Empire, but humans usually picked on the weakest in the group, so didn't the same principle apply with animals on more deadly terms?
Tod looked at Crysella from his spot on the floor. "Here, I'll help you get home." He said with no room for argument as he got up and moved towards the retina scanner hidden under a panel of what looked like the normal material of the wall.

Crysella sighed shaking her head in protest, "You saved my life so I'm going to save yours. If I show up out there with you, someone will kill you." yeah because they all knew the look of someone who had been through one of the Empire's torture sessions. It was something that had been burned into everyone's memory. One of the few exceptions let go to be made an example out of.
Her yelling had attracted more attentions than just the guards, and she figured the least she could do was make sure Tod didn't get killed either.
"I don't know how long I was in there, but Simba is more than capable to fend off anything that would want to hurt me." Yeah, she sighed standing up and putting her hand on Tod's shoulder. "This is where we say goodbye, end of story." yeah she was quiet determined to keep him out of the Murk.

Whatever, it wasn't like he wanted to stand here and argue with someone, who clearly wasn't going to give up.
"Fine, but if you die I'll be really pissed."
His blue eyes darted to the hand on his shoulder. Wow, this really sucked. He was just starting to get the hang of sneaking off too.
Was this really the last time he'd ever see her again?
No way, Tod knew where she lived, and if she relocated, he'd just sniff her out!
Or something like that.
Then again, Tod was maybe too optimistic.

Crysella sighed, if she died he would have no way of knowing so it didn't matter. She leaned forwards, planting a kiss on his lips, figuring it was the least she could do.
No just to wait till he opened this damn door so she could get out of this ******** death trap. And boy did she have some information to tell the resistance....

Tod frowned. Well goodbyes sucked! the little compartment beeped and the opening in the wall made itself clear.
Tod stepped out of the way, his arms crossing automatically. "Go ahead, be free."

Crysella raised an eyebrow an looked at him. "I'm not a bird Tod." she said and sighed, yeah she wasn't gonna come flying back.
She looked outside, to her outside and had to refrain from bolting out there, instead she walked out and kept walking till she was about 20 feet from the entrance, before turning to wave goodbye to Tod.
