Madaraki Shiso
Something told her that having 5 older brothers freaked Hiyo out a bit; or a lot. She couldn't tell. His tone had certainly changed now that they were away from the chunin arena. It didn't sound as arrogant anymore. In fact, it sounded cheerful and light-hearted. Which made her wonder why the sudden change in attitude...?
"Ah, I wouldn't say so... Heh, I'm not exactly 'academic' smart. I'm kind of a real dummy when it comes to strategy... But, I'm willing to try harder this time if I want to reach up to Ichi-te or Ren's level... I'm still a little weak right now. I'm no where near as great as you or Yukai."
She was being humble, of course. Back then she had been bursting with over confidence; now, that all seem to erode to modesty and truth as she spoke to the person she liked a whole lot...
"By the way... Umm... Wh-What's your family like?" she asked, batting her long, brownish-red lashes that framed her big, green eyes, "I mean... I told you about mine... Mostly. Wh-What about yours?"
That was what she was most curious about. So far, he had mentioned his father... What about his mother? Did he have any siblings? What about aunts and uncles? Shiso had PLENTY of that on her Father's side; but, they weren't exactly on 'good terms' right now. They were still upset over the fact that Harunobu, her Dad, married Saki, her Mom, instead of what's-her-face with the big nose and the huge knockers...

HIYO MIYAKI There goes my hero... "Well..." He started, thinking about the question. His family, how to describe the three of them? His mom was actually a normal woman, she wasn't a kunoichi, she was just a cloud village commoner. "There is my mom, my dad, and my brother. People say I look like my mom because of my hair and eye color, but they say I have a huge ego like my dad. Go figure." He chuckled into a shrug on the last part of the statement. "And thats about it, my clan is small due to the line of work they do. Which is why I chose to be a ninja over an assassin." He continued on, truth be told he could only think of a few others in his clan, his great grandfather was still kicking even though both his sons and one grandson had been killed a long time ago by rival assassin clans. ... he's ordinary

Madaraki Shiso
"Heh... People say I look like Mom more than I do my Dad... But, I don't think that's right. I have my Dad's eyes... His skin color... Heh, Mom and Negi are always complaining that I'm too pale or that I need a tan... Hmmm... Other than that, I think the only thing I got from Mom is her hair color..."
She then lifted up the braid that had belonged to her and smiled, "It's dyed. I dyed it black along time ago. My real hair color is red. And I think you might've already figured that I don't wear glasses. I just put them on because I thought I'd look cool. And because I'd look more like Dad... He wears glasses."
Hearing about his clan being small made her feel a little bit better; hers might have been big, but there was nothing special about it. All the ninja were starting to die out. They were leading normal lives now. And since they disowned their last ninja (her Dad), they really weren't much of a clan. Just a huge family line.
"Assassins? Really? Huh. Wow... Most of my family end up being shopkeepers or cooks... Well, my Dad's side anyway. My Mom... Well, Mom rarely talks about her side of the family. I don't think she has one. Dad's the one with the big family. And hair-jutsus. Heh, can you believe it? It's only meant for girls. It never gets passed down to boys... Guess that's why it's pretty uncommon to have kunoichis on the Madaraki family line..."
All this family talk was starting to make her feel uncomfortable; but in a way, she felt like she was venting. It wasn't every day she got to talk about her family... So, she didn't mind.
"Do you think I'll get to meet your family?"

HIYO MIYAKI There goes my hero... "Red?" Was his simple reply, more of a rhetorical question than a response. However he thought on the subject, he could actually see her with red hair, the shade on the other hand was hard to see. The thought made him anxious to see it. He let out a small chuckle when she mentioned the hair jutsu, it was quite humorous when it was pointed out. "That is actually a bit funny, to have so many men with a clan jutsu meant for women. Kind of counter productive if you ask me." He didn't want to make her feel bad at all, however it could have been taken either way. Meet my family? The boy pondered on what would happen if he took Shiso to his home. Nothing really big would happen, maybe some teasing from his little brother, a pat on the back from his dad followed by a gay joke, and his mom would probably embarrass him. Wait... That was something big! "Sure, its only fair that you get to meet mine if I'm meeting yours." Hiyo spoke calmly, not letting his family matter bother him to the point Shiso was dragged into it. Plus it was only courteous to return the favor. ... he's ordinary

Madaraki Shiso
"Yeah, kind of a stupid color I know... It's not as pretty as Mom's," said Shiso with a shrug as she held his hand. But when she heard about the whole male-productive thing, she let out a laugh and smiled at the truth of it, nodding her head as she walked right by him, "Yeah, I guess that's true. They like to breed alot of sons, so they tend use arranged marriages to women with highly recessive genes. Heh, I guess that's why they didn't want Dad marrying Mom... He's retired from being a ninja, but he was long disowned from the Madaraki clan just by marrying Mom. Her genes were dominant than his, so it wouldn't be a compatible marriage."
But in a way, she knew that was not true; other than looks, they DID breed 5 sons, excluding her. And they all looked like her Mom rather than her Dad. But then, Togarashi and Shio looked ALOT like her Dad... The rest looked like Mom...
Her attention, however, was turned to Hiyo when he mentioned her meeting his family. And a smile spread across her face as she sighed, "Alright... I want to meet yours first then. If that's alright with you."

HIYO MIYAKI There goes my hero... "Oh no, I like red, other than black and white it is my favorite color." He said happily, but came back to the actual conversation about their families, "you'd think they would actually try to get more girls..." Or they could just be happy without being an actual clan. "It's no problem I guess, so we are going to my house first?" He asked making sure he understood what she was saying. ... he's ordinary

Madaraki Shiso
"Sure," said Shiso with a nod and a smile, "I'll change later. My house isn't that far, anyway... You've been there," she said, fiddling with her braid before tossing it over her shoulder, "What're your folks like? My Mom's pretty sarcastic... She's nice, but she has a funny way of describing things and putting things into phrase... My Dad's pretty much a geek. Heh, I know I said they were normal... But at times, I think Mom still picks on Dad for being a little spasmodic."
She was curious to know what his parents were like. Or his brother. She never had a younger sibling. All her life, she had been the youngest sibling. So, she wondered what it was like to have an older sibling, let alone a brother...
"Like I said before, all my brothers are jerks. The oldest is Togarashi, but he already left the house. He hasn't come back in years now. I think it's because he's busy and all. Then there's Nasubi, he's hardly ever around either, but I think it's because he's got a girlfriend. That's what Mom says... And then there's Shio, Tori, and Negi. You put our names together... You get chicken with vegetables and spices," chuckled Shiso at the cruel joke behind their names, "Mine... In case you haven't guessed, is perilla. As in mint. The herb's supposed to go great with chicken..."
He knew now, that he was going to laugh at her. Her name was by far most the stupidest name a kid could get from its parents. And everyone at the academy made fun of her because of that... That, and she was a bit of a cry-baby back then...

HIYO MIYAKI There goes my hero... "My family? Well, there is me, and my brother Tatsuya, he is nine and still is in training to be either a ninja or assassin, he hasn't chosen yet. My father Haji, he is very laid back most of the time, but when it comes to training and fighting he is completely serious. My mother, Sayu was a kunoichi, but quit once she married my dad." That was actually about it, he didn't feel a need to tell her about his grandfather who didn't even live in the Cloud village. He drew a small breath as he noticed the climate change, it was beginning to grow slightly colder, they were probably back in the Land of Lightning. ... he's ordinary

If I cannot tame myself? Seo Himine
Seo had left the chunin exams area. He was tired of watching battles and was hoping to get some food and get into a few spar matches afterward. In other words he was aching for a fight. This was the first time being with his team and he wanted to get to know them and let them know something about him. Mitsukai almost lost his eyes when he made that comment about Seo's eyes. Ok team its a long way back and i plan on getting to know you like I know myself and I want you guys to do the same so ask me all the questions you want and I will do the same. Seo set a faster pace. "All right first question. What is you nindo?"
How could I show others how much inferior to me they really are?

Kurami kept up with her team even though they had picked up speed with every step they took. "Nindo... " Kurami thought to herself and really didn't want to tell anyone she would rather keep that private. She wasn't sure how she could change the topic but felt the need to do so. Kurami thought for a bit but didn't come up with a new subject that could pull them away so instead she directed the question towards Makura by simply staring at him waiting for him to answer.

Nourished have I, this karmic flow.... Makura merely followed behind Seo, appearing much younger than his older partner. Although age didn't make much of a difference nowadays, Makura had a growing curiosity at why Seo decided to become a shinobi much later in his life. It seemed that Seo had a few secrets to him. As Seo begun to spoke, it almost startled the kid. It was like he was reading his mind. It seemed he too wanted to get to know everyone in the group. Of course this is all necessary in order for them to work as a team. But Makura had figured he would get to know the others in his own time. He placed his hands cooly in his pockets as he listened. Nindo? In all honesty, Makura had never thought too much about developing a nindo. He just wanted to live. Knowing that his family comes from distant lands he figured the best way to make a living was becoming a shinobi. His parents were shinobi, though they weren't too great at first. So naturally, Makura figured he would become one. It just made life simple to just follow the crowd and become a shinobi. There wasn't any motivation in becoming one other than the fact that he simply wanted to make it through life as smoothly as possible. However with a personality like Makura's, a smooth life was never gonna happen. "..Well, I've never had a nindo." Scratching his chin, his eyes made quick glances to the surroundings, taking note of the lack of lush vegetation. "I guess my nindo would be 'Just live'. " It was simple, yet completely reflected Makura's attitude on life. To him, it was a perfect nindo.Where great above meets great below...

If I cannot tame myself? Seo Himine
"Just Live." Seo repeated, "That's all you want as a shinobi? Just to live. Then again everyone deals with being a soldier differently." Seo thought of a way to state his nindo without sounding self centered and just as he thought of it he forgot and stopped trying. My nindo is 'If i cannot tame myself? How can i show others how inferior to me they really are?'. This is how I live my life, and I won't tel you why I'll let you see it in battle." he siply spoke bluntly with no tone or emotion his voice seemed almost monotone. "What about you, Kurami you have a nindo?" he didn't want her to feel left out.

Kurami looked back at him and really wished he had done what she wanted and just forgot to ask her. It would be much simpler that way she knew she would end up feeling embaressed telling them. "..." Kurami stayed quiet for a bit while bitting her lip and trying to figure out if she had other nindos. Her nindo was was a bit about bettering herself she could always say that but she was afraid they would ask more. Kurami began to look down at the ground and finally decided what she would say. "Hmm. It's a secret." Kurami said quietly bringing her head up enough that they could see her actions. Following that she brought her finger to her lip as if she was telling them to be quiet. Kurami jolted her head the other way hopping to escape from Seo's gaze even though he couldn't see but it was useless since Makura was on the other side of her. Noticing this she turned her head back away from him also and instead went back to staring downwards.

If I cannot tame myself? Seo Himine
"nicely stated. I ninja should always be able to keep secrets." Seo said in the same monotone voice. "Well it would be nice if you were to get caught in which the probability would be unusually high seeing as though one of you teammates nindo is to live. What a selfish nindo." Seo laughed a bit as he poked fun at the young gennin. Next question." his voice had a hint of playfulness to it as his voice often did when he asked serious questions he lifted his head allowing his voice to travel in all directions. "Who is the leader of this team?"

"Oh I guess they are..." Kurami was supprised that he let her off with just saying they were secrets but dispite her trying to hold it back she also laughed with what seo had said. She wanted to live also but dispite her being afraid of many things if her team was in need she deffinitly wouldn't save her own life in exchange for theirs. Next thing she heard was a new question Seo had sprung on them. Kurami didn't know the answer to this question and guessed that the Makura didn't either. "He means our Sensei right..?" She thought to herself wondering if that was what he ment she didn't really know the answer at all. "Umm." Was all Kurami said or atleast that they could make out because how quietly she spoke. Kurami did lift her head a bit while jumping from tree to tree so she could make sure she wouldn't run into one like she had done earlier. That would be awefully embarasing and just thinking about it made her bite on her lower lip which already reseaved some damage because of the last question.
