"I'll be fine, sensei. I know my father." She stopped there, not sure if she could say anything else and believe it to be true. Cherry actually wasn't sure just how well she knew her father, but Z's presence may provoke him.

"alright cherry if you say so," z stated calmly. if she thinks she can stop him from shadowing her then shes more naive than he thought. he was a hunter nin, he could conceal his prescence completely without alerting anyone

He had conceded to letting her go alone but nor had he admitted in following her. Cherry just nodded and stood up, cleaning away the used plates and packing the leftovers for tomorrow's lunch. She then went to the other room, packing up her summoning scroll and sling it over her shoulder, the familiar weight snug against her lower back. "I'll be going to collect my belongings." Cherry spoke, both hands still gently hold the cloak from dragging on the floor. She walked out of the building and the heavy wooden gate, towards the Kuranma household.

Ezio opened the door for Zane as he stepped inside, going inside the dojo the same place where he had rested Cherry before. Lying her down on the mat, he placed his cloack over her to keep her warm. As he did so, he sat down on the ground, wondering what to do next. Cherry and him kissed...so what does that mean? What next? And the Mizukage is still missing he thought as he looked at samehada still sitting there. "Ezio...please go bring me some sake...and some hot tea, I'm going to really need something strong to calm my nerves," Zane told him as Ezio did just that.

Thw hite cloak Zane had given her ealier now stained with blood and ash from the night's events.

Taking a closer look at Cherry, he removed the white cloack from her gently as to not bother her and placed back his new black cloack. "I know the perfect solution to getting blood stains out," he chuckled as he tossed the robe aside to be washed later. Taking a seat right next to her, Ezio came back with what Zane ordered. You know...you're lucky I'm so nice Zane...I'm not your personal butler! Ezio scowled. "Aww come on Ezio...after all we've done for each other?" Zane chuckled as Ezio did too. He placed the drinks down and saw the kind of tea he had made: Plantation Mint and there was a couple of more cups out incase Cherry would like some and if Hideki or Cody showed up. He mixed his cup with a bit of sake as he took a sip. "Smooth..." he smirked.

"Mhmm..." She mumbled, her face revealed to be without the habitual smile she always wore even during the time her uncle had electrocuted her, Cherry kept on smiling. There was a knock on the dojo door, Cherry's mother having arrived, a sheathed sword being held in both of her hands but she wasn't there to kill her child.

Zane rose from his spot as his face was wide open, but he didn't care this time. Something about him was different now...Ezio remained stationary. Taking a sip from his cup he looked at Cherry's mother with cold eyes, not sensing the killing intent he didn't unsheath his own blades but decided to remain on guard. "Can I help you mam?" he asked politely

Now, Zane would be able to see that Cherry and her mother looked almost identical; same smooth rounded face and small features, eventheir hands were the same. Only her eyes were different from Cherry's; green instead of pink. "Please," She whispered, head bowed. "Let me see her." Her voice sounded broken and full of sadness and regret.

This woman...Z thought as he inspected her from afar...looks exactly like Cherry. Definitley her mother. He thought about it...he wanted to protect Cherry, no he had to protect her...it was his duty given to him by the Mizukage. But was that the only reason? A job? A mission? Or was he feeling something else for her. He took out his hidden blade in his right hand as he stepped to the side. "If you pull something...I will kill you without hesitation," Zane stated as he left her a pathway to Cherry. He crouched down next to Cherry's head as he watched carefully. He would be in good striking position to defend Cherry if her mom was anything like her dad and uncle.

She whispered as she approached Cherry, entering the light of the room and revealing the ornate decoration covering the sheath of the sword and its handle. Cherry's mother held the sword much the same way Cherry had held Zane's mask when she was asked to retrieve it for him. The older woman knelt down gently at Cherry's side, the very same way Cherry moves to kneel, and rests the sword in front of her cihld on the floor. Green eyes watch the sleeping form sadly for a while before a hand moves slowly to brush away a stray strand of hair from her child's face before returning to her lap. "Please," She whispered, green eyes still watching Cherry's face. "Tell her I'm proud. And... I know you'll take better care of her than I did."

Hideki wandered around until he came across the Dojo once again. He was really weak still from the fight and had started coughing up blood. His favorite suit had been stained with blood, but he was in no position to worry about it. "God damn! I can hardly walk!" Hideki managed to get inside the dojo. He inched over to the fire and he dropped to his knees in front of it. He needed more rest. He started coughing up more blood as his vision began to blur. "Damn it..."

"I will tell her that mam..." Zane muttered as he watched catiously when she touched Cherry's face. He didn't react because he had yet to sense any killing intent. "And I swear...I swear on my blade that I will protect her," Zane stated, his eyes full of resolve as he looked up at her. Why? He would swear on his blade, basically his life for a single shinobi.
