FangFang laid out lazily on a couch in the lounge. It was quiet here and the teams likely headed back to their team rooms after the event rather than roamed the halls. It went by pretty easily for the old Raichu, now that she knew her dear friend wasn't dead in the end. The only thing that did bother her was a sharp pain that kept finding its way back into her head. Fang rolled over onto her back with a sigh. One paw was used to rotate herself and the other rested against her forehead. Her grey eyes stared up at the eye gauging light above her that she in turn reeled her head away from. She rolled onto her side as well, seemingly unsettled. She wanted to visit Tempest but she also didn't think it would be wise. Fang didn't even assume she was conscious. Maybe tomorrow would be better.
Her tail came up beside her, hanging over her small body with the trefoil before her eyes, and the Volt Globe dangling before her. She stared at it in silence. She knew this orb, but from who? Her expression sifted into annoyance, unable to place it's ownership. Era would have clicked immediately if not for the sudden surprise of the Pikachu having wings. With a sigh of defeat, the old Raichu's tail lowered back beneath her and her eyes closed. What little darkness she obtained was soothing, being aided by the silence, but relaxation wouldn't come until she visited Tempest.

Era Era made her way wearily through the Guild, searching for somewhere, anywhere to be where she could mull her thoughts over in peace. Anyone who saw her would know that she was unhappy, her ears drooped and she was missing the glimmer that normally lit up her expression. She'd gotten out of her Team Room as quickly as possible, there had just been too many concerns to deal with, too much stress that she didn't need on top of that which she already had. She was certain that Sereni was in good hands back at home but right now she just wanted to stop thinking about it. Tempest was gone...that was enough of a thing to mourn over and keep her mind in turmoil. It didn't make sense, and it shouldn't have happened that Tempest would just suddenly be... The Pikachu's eyes glittered with sadness, but tears wouldn't come, just a hollow sort of disbelief that wouldn't leave her.
Unknowingly she had meandered in the direction of the Guild's Commons Room scarcely aware of those she passed and that which she saw. When she got there she found the first chair that she could and pulled out her parcel from in the bag that still hung at her side. While back at the Team Room she had transferred the item from the plain cloth that had held it before to the one that Tempest herself had given Era, which had contained a Thunderstone. Now the cloth was wrapped delicately around the Pikachu's glasses which Era now unrolled to look at them once more. It wasn't fair...it just wasn't fair. Her paw traced the edges of the glasses and her vision blurred with unbidden tears as she gazed at the cracks and blood that had become their signature marks. Why Arceus, why? She thought bitterly before wishing she could take the thought back. If there was anything that was obvious to those who knew what Tempest had told her, it was obvious why the god might be angry with them. Well if the whole world was against them, it didn't matter. Damn Eridanus, damn him to the depths of hell where he belonged. "It shouldn't have ended that way..." she murmured not even noticing the Raichu who was lounging nearby.

FangFang remained ignorant of Era's arrival. The only thing she processed was the idea that her safe haven was just contaminated, and it made her expression dull. The newcomer didn't seem to want anything with her. It left her alone. That much was good. The Raichu remained still, planning on just allowing herself to drift off to sleep until the intruder spoke and Fang's ears lifted upon twitching. No. No, she knew that voice.
Fang was silent as she attempted to register who it was before finally opening her eyes slightly. It was Era. She was sad though. Fang silently counted to three before pushing her weight up on her front legs, and she stared at her pre evolution in concern. "Era?" Why was she so upset? We got away with... well. Two deaths, but Era didn't know either of them as far as she knew. For her to react as so confused the Raichu. Fang took a moment to scan the Pikachu. Her eyes met Tempest's glasses, and she responded accordingly. She blinked rapidly before swiftly hopping off the couch and made quick pace over to Era. She rested one of her own, far larger paws over Era's that held the glasses without really thinking about it as she continued to stare at them. "Well, she won't need these anymore. Why are you holding onto them?" Fang blinked as she looked up from the glasses to meet Era. Returning them was... rather pointless, in this condition. It took her a moment, but after a short silence, she did connect the dots between Era's condition, and why she still clung to the glasses. "Wait, you think Tempest is dead? Era, she's at the hospital." The Raichu's head tilted slightly, though her eyes never left Era. Normally, she'd find this funny and start smiling, but around Era, she couldn't seem to.

Era Era barely registered hearing her name called by the familiar voice aside from a slight twitch of the ear in recognition. It was Fang of all people who would be here, wasn't it? At least she could share her own sorrow with the Raichu, surely she was beyond upset at the loss of Tempest, they'd been very close. Yet something in the Raichu's tone seemed off, more concerned than upset. Why that would be, the Pikachu didn't have any idea, but it didn't cause her to look away from the glasses in her paws. She'd have to hand them over to Fang, that she was fairly certain of but for now she just held them as if they were the only thing that mattered. In a sense they were exactly that to the troubled Pikachu, for now at least, until she got over what had happened.
When Fang came over to her and the Raichu set a paw on one of her own, Era looked up, eyes too bright with threatening tears. It was comforting...and it made her feel better to have Fang close, until she actually spoke. Era blinked in confusion, her gaze clouding with it, "I know she won't need them anymore..." she managed to say, choking on the words that didn't want to come, "That's way I have them. I was keeping them safe until I could give them to someone who would be more suited to have them than me." Like Fang, like one of the Guildmasters; someone who knew Tempest well and could see to it that they were done with as the Pikachu would have wanted. Fang was being so blunt about it, but maybe that was just how she dealt with things, Era wasn't one to judge otherwise. Regardless though, the Pikachu herself wasn't so easily able to continue as if nothing had happened. When someone died, she mourned them long after they were gone. It didn't stop her from carrying on with life, but it did make things harder for a while: much harder.
Era blinked in surprise at Fang's comment, looking up at the Raichu to hold her gaze for the first time since she'd come over. There was a long moment of silence where the Pikachu simply stared, trying to wrap her mind around Fang's words until she finally found her voice again. "What...do you mean?" she whispered, the paw that Fang wasn't holding grasping onto the glasses slightly more tightly than before. Tempest wasn't dead? But how? How could that be? It was too good to be true. She didn't think Fang would joke about something like that but she just didn't see how it could possibly be true. The glasses she held were proof enough for the Pikachu that for Tempest to be alive was almost impossible. How could her glasses have gotten so bloody and she was still alive? She had faced off against Eridanus; if Tempest had been alone, and that Eevee had wanted her dead then there was no chance that Era could fathom it. If he wanted you dead, you were doomed if what the other Elite could do was any clue as to Eridanus' own power. "How can she still be alive?"

FangFang watched Era in silence. She didn’t bother rushing the Pikachu. There was no point. Of course, this hardly came off as a surprise though. She herself just caught ear of Tempest’s survival from a single Pokemon. A single comment. There was nothing else besides that to her knowledge. Then again, she wasn’t hanging around with the other higher ups either at the moment obviously. Word must’ve gotten out by now. The Raichu frowned as Era began to speak. She really was clueless. She gave her a moment before finally opening to mouth to speak, but Era quickly rebounded, and Fang smiled slightly at the Pikachu. “No. I’m not joking. She’s fine.” Tempest had one hell of a tolerance to things. She wouldn’t go down easily… But Fang was just as aware of what they were up against as Era was. When the question of how arose. Fang fell silent for some time. How. She didn’t even know, but Tempest was alive. She had to be. Why would that Garchomp lie to Solaris? They knew each other somehow. He couldn’t have lied. “I’m not sure, honestly.” Fang rested her hands against her hips as her eyes derailed from Era, instead examining the room. “I’m sure she’s fine though. I plan on checking up on her soon if you’d like to tag along.” She nodded as she spoke, and then returned to silence. Her tail began to motion behind her as her mood uplifted to a small degree and the weight on her tail made her blink. “Oh, right. This is yours right?” Her long tail came up alongside her and Era. The Volt Globe was still firmly entwined on her tail. She’d almost forgotten about it entirely. Age was a pain.

Era It was still so much for Era to take in that even as Fang reaffirmed her statement once again, she found herself all but shaking her head in disbelief. If Tempest was alive it could only be a god-send of a miracle that had saved her. She didn't doubt Fang's words though, she believed the Raichu's words, there was just some small doubting part of her mind that refused to accept this because it was too much to hope for. Around this Guild, hope only brought you so far; Era had learned that hard lesson several times over which made it so difficult to comprehend the possibility of this being true. Once again Era's eyes fell to the glasses in her paws, and then looked back at Fang who was smiling at her slightly before she spoke up, "I...believe you," she said, struggling to keep the quaver out of her voice. It didn't make sense, there were so many questions left unanswered, but she knew that she couldn't expect Fang to be able to answer them.
When Fang offered for Era to come with her to visit Tempest, Era's ears pricked up in a half-hearted attempt at a smile. "I'd like that," she said, looking up at Fang slightly more cheerfully. She was slowly making herself believe that Tempest could be alive, and it was...releving. As she carefully wrapped up the glasses again and returned them to her bag; even if they were broken, likely beyond repair, maybe Tempest would still like to have them so she'd hold onto them just in case. When Fang held up her Volt Globe, a smile came to her face. "Oh,that," she said, having almost forgotten about it, "Thank you. I'm glad it did its job." She said, reaching a paw and carefully untangling it from the Raichu's tail. "That is, you are alright aren't you?" she asked a bit tenatively "I was afraid that I wouldn't get there in time to help, but it looked like things were okay..."

A lone Flareon found himself lounging in the Guild's commons area. The rest of his team were back in their private room resting off today's events, what little was left of said team that is. Kyle longed to be doing the same but the scent of that Blaziken's blood still loomed in his senses to the point where he could nearly taste it. He had the misfortune of finding himself in the immediate vicinity of the body so for a canine this trouble was natural, if anything he was lucky not to have the foreign blood spattered in his fur when the body made impact with the table. Nothing else could be done except shake off the horrific thoughts and put them all behind. With a heavy sigh the lone sitting continued accompanied by the sucking of a flavorless paper stick; the candy top that once adorned it having long since passed.

SargeIt was silent in the room for the first few minutes the Flareon was present in the Common Room. When Kyle let out that heavy sigh, something behind one of the large couches began to stir and move. A sleek black paw placed itself on the top of the back of the couch, struggling to pull its owner up. Eventually, a large black head with long, rather frizzy hair and droopy blue eyes pulled itself up over the couch, looking over to Kyle. Poor Sarge looked exhausted, sullen, even in pain. "... Get outta' my room..." He muttered lazily as he flopped the top half of his body over the back of the couch, his hind paws kicking at the back until he managed to roll onto the couch. "Oh... wait... right... I dun' have a room no more..." The Ninetails looked dirty and rugged, not befitting of his usual look. For Sarge to let himself go like that, he must have been traumatized by something.

Kyle's ears flicked at the noise of a presence which he had not noticed before. Granted this was an open area for all guild members to take refuge in so he didn't really have reason to give an eye to the new face until an almost rancid smell caught him. It was almost a shock to have not noticed it earlier, the being now deemed as canine or maybe even vulpine by the scent which was heralded by not having bathed in a few weeks at least, but not one complaint was given to this fact. If anything it masked up the still strong odor of blood that was sickening him with each passing minute. Things got even more strange when he finally looked up to find the charcoal Ninetails flopping about and potentially ruining a once perfectly good couch with his general grime. What the hell was wrong with this guy? Going downhill from here the disgusting fox spoke, and unless there were other hidden figures about this room, Kyle was pretty sure his words were directed towards him. The tone which the order was presented matched the figure perfectly; the Eeveelution not necessarily moving from his own seat but still keeping enough caution to have a close eye set on the other Pokemon at all times. "Uhm, are you alright?" There wasn't really much more inquiry to be given. The ramblings preceding his own speech not making all that much sense unless some sort of context was given. Perhaps this Ninetails was just intoxicated or something; at least in that case things would be a whole lot easier for Kyle and he could casually slip away from this peculiar creature without too much hassle.

SargeThe Ninetails tilted his head to the side, looking at Kyle with a sullen look on his face. "... No... No, I'm not alright..." The vulpine Pokemon whimpered softly. Sarge once again turned his head, now gazing at an empty spot on the ceiling. "... My hair is a mess... I haven't gotten a bath in weeks... My home is destroyed... All my friends are dead..." One of those blue eyes turned to stare at Kyle. "So yeah... I've been better... How are you?~" Sarge tried to seem legitimately interested in the other Pokemon, but one could tell why it could be hard for him to focus. He attempted to force a smile, indicating that he would be fine, but thoughts of his old team just kept resurfacing in his mind. Although a weak smile did form on the corners of the Ninetails' furry mouth, there were obvious tears streaming from his eyes.

Kyle could only help but flutter his eyes blankly a few times at the response he received. Though the words in and of themselves were rather vague, he couldn't help but place some pity in the direction of the Ninetails. He felt as if action needed to be taken in an effort to aid this troubled soul, but first there was still the matter of what exactly was he dealing with. From appearances alone he wasn't exactly about to deduce without a doubt that this Pokemon wasn't an enemy. In fact, adding to suspicions, he would've sworn he spotted a clearly black in color figure this morning which seemed to be responsible for the untimely death of that Blaziken taking Solaris's responce to its presence into consideration. How was he to know he wasn't chatting with a homicidal maniac in this very moment? "I'm fine. But, uhm, do you belong to this guild? I'm sure all of its members are offered luxuries such as the basic necessities for all species of Pokemon to stay prim..." He responded to the question he was presented with curtly before continuing into a topic that would get him some well needed answers.

SargeSarge lifted his arms a bit, wiping at his eyes and cheeks with his leathery paw pads. "I-I... I was... part of the Sun Guild..." He said softly, wiping his grimy paws on the couch and looking back at Kyle. The Ninetails was lying on his back now, so it looked like he was being given a Freudian psychological screening. "... Would you believe I used to be beautiful...?" His eyes shimmered a bit as he watched for the Flareon's reaction. "I mean, a cute little fuzzball must understand what it's like to be gawked over for your looks... I haven't gotten that in weeks... I miss it..." By now it must have seemed like the Ninetails was half insane. Well, it would be hard to come out of what he had gone through with all of your sanity left, so he could be cut a little bit of slack. He was still coherent enough to keep on a conversation, it just wasn't always about things appropriate to the current situation...

Kyle would have been more than glad to drop this Ninetails in this moment if it weren't for the flattery that had been thrown his way. At least through this he was able to figure out what type of person he was dealing with; the vulpine Pokemon before him having once been rather full of himself it seemed but that was nearly all drained out of him now, possibly for the better. "C'mon..." He grumbled out in response, voice trailing off as he mentally contemplated what he was about to proceed with and weigh the risks at least. "I have a team here. The least I could do is offer you our facilities and a decent meal while you finish your story." It was slowly becoming obvious that the pitiable Pokemon before him was a tad incoherent at the moment also, perhaps due to malnutrition which his offer, if accepted, would help. He couldn't exactly put an explanation to why, but he couldn't help but feel compassion towards the Ninetails and whatever misfortunes had brought him to this point. Kyle got to his feet after he spoke, stretching out his legs as he awaited a reply to his offer.

SargePoor Sarge was idly pawing at the ceiling as Kyle spoke. The Ninetails could swear he saw something floating around above his head. Little did he know it was just a frizzy lock of hair. At Kyle's proposition, he turned his head to look at the Flareon. His eyes were shimmering and tears were once again welling up in them. "Y-You'd... do that for me...?" He asked softly, a few of those long tails of his shaking a bit. Smiling widely, the Ninetails hopped off the couch and rand over to Kyle, putting his fore paws down right in front of the Flareon and leaning forward to cover Kyle's face in affectionate licks. "You are sooooo sweet!~ Thankyouthankyouthankyou!~" And those licks just kept going.

Kyle simply was not quick enough in his movements to see the other Pokemon advance in time before soon enough the Ninetails was practically smothering him. Affection and flattery were things he found himself normally fine with but through this the realization came that those mentioned things were only alright in moderation. What the hell had he just gotten himself into? "My team shouldn't have a problem understanding the circumstances... You probably need a place to stay the night too I'd assume?" The thought was processed and spoken in one fluent act. If anything it seemed in this moment that they were almost two stuck in the same situation. His team was ripped apart at the seams recently and one could even say he held fault for that. As it appeared the vulpine Pokemon before him too was suffering the same loss, perhaps even on a higher scale. They were in need of filling the void that was left by the tragic deaths that had recently occurred...And surely there was plenty of room open to lodge someone up for awhile considering their numbers were practically halved. Hell, even if this guy was crazy there was little need to even associate with him as long as he had his own private quarters. That and the feeling of generosity never hurt anyone. "Follow me and I'll show you to where you'll be staying..." He backed out from the charcoal Pokemon's clutches and made his way for the door. The Flareon's wording at this point becoming more of an order rather than an offer. It was decided, he was taking in this poor soul which even had potential of being helpful in the long run.
