StarrySeas Clyde grinned like a maniac at the praise, so much for keeping a serious attitude. With Pandora in her pokeball Clyde would have to wait until they got back to Headquarters. The Absol was out of his hands right now, since he was being loaded into a van, so Clyde didn't have to tend to his pokemon as much as Bonnie. He thought about talking to Pandora's pokeball, like he had seen trainers do after a battle, but it always seemed stupid to him. The pokemon couldn't hear them could they? Pandora was out like a light anyways. The Grunt looked at the pokeball on his belt anyways, and silently thanked her. As much as he disliked her sheepish nature, she did very well on their mission. Then he thought about how creepy it would be if she could hear everything... He was snapped out of his musings as Bonnie grabbed him by the arm and pulled him off to the side. Clyde had no problem with Seth, he was okay, and as far as he knew the Elite was neutral with him as well. It would be nice to just chat with Bonnie though. Not that he would brag to the others though...
"Why not? We just had an awesome and successful mission! Why not celebrate for a little?" He grinned. "Pandora could use some training, and I'll need to get used to battling with Absol...He needs a name, by the way. I was thinking Hades, or maybe Cereberus. Something fierce that'll fit 'im, and probably from Greek mythology. You know how much I love those stories." "Cerberus," was all that the teenage boy's partner said. Her reply had been short, simple, and to the point. She didn't have a need to explain herself, either. Cerberus was a name that sounded powerful, and those were the best kind for pokemon in her opinion. Not only that, but Cerberus was a three-headed dog of legend that helped to guard the Underworld in Greek mythology. One couldn't get more epic than that. The name of Clyde's new Absol would definitely strike fear into others, that was for sure.
As her partner rambled on about his pokemon and possible names, Bonnie found herself sitting down. Such was this typical scene after a successful day of stealing. This kind of behavior was normal for Clyde. He always had a tendency to get excited over this kind of thing. Team Rocket - it was a game to him. Something fun to do, an adrenaline rush. To her, on the other hand, it was something more serious. Team Rocket was a source of income, a way to get money she so desperately needed for her mother back home. A string of debts weren't going to pay themselves, you know.
"Why not? We just had an awesome and successful mission! Why not celebrate a little?"
This question rang throughout the girl's mind, and caused her to frown. Why? Uggh. Celebrating wouldn't do anything! So what if they managed to get away with stealing some pokemon? Fate was on their side today, and that was it. If they hadn't teamed up together, and if she hadn't been prepared ahead of time, then they probably would have come back empty handed. "Because," she told Clyde, the look in her eyes stern and cold, "getting cocky will be a bad move. So what if we succeeded? It was one mission. Win today, and we can still fail tomorrow. We have to stay focused, Clyde, otherwise nothing else will go our way."

phantompanther13 Gastly was hit full force by the blast. With a little squeal he fainted and panther forwned, returning the poor guy. "You did good today later I'll treat you." Panther frowned and then sighed at the old guy's coment. "Inexperianced is right. that's what most say." he shoved his hands in his pockets watching they guy for any opening, but he knew he was done. there was little else he coud do that day, in the tine left. Well that was odd. The old man hadn't expected to see the Gastly faint so suddenly. After all... all Will-O-Wisp did was burn. The Gastly must have been very weak indeed. The Shuppet looked pleased with itself, but the old man frowned lightly. "Hmm... I see. Well don't lose heart, lad. Things will improve in time. But next time I would recommend not using an already damaged Pokemon in battle. It gives you quite the disadvantage." He nodded sagely.

Bouncy_Pineapple Leonard also had to cover his ears from the loud Screech. It figures that the first kind of sound that his Shuppet made was going to be something like this. But he had an advantage now! Kinda. Now to go in and attack! "Use an Astonish!" Gladly. Seance dashed at the Raichu and a startling high speed...
... Then paralysis came over her and she fell down, right in front of it. She was starting to loathe electricity right now. When the Shuppet was unable to attack, the dude pumped his fist into the air. "Yeah! Go get 'em Raichu! Shock it good!" After all... Quick Attack wouldn't work on a ghost, electricity was the only option here. "CHUU!" The Raichu bellowed... or well.. if you could call the squeaky battle cry a bellow. Another thunderbolt was blasted at the ghost mon.

And now everyone was going downhill again, starting from the sudden paralysis. Leonard didn't know his Pokemon very well, but it looked like she wouldn't be able to take many more Thunderbolts at this way.
Which means he's going to have to take more drastic measures.
"Confuse them again!" He shouted with a pointed finger.
Seance struggled to get up, especially after that last Thunderbolt. She managed to hover a good meter or two off the ground and prepared herself to charge at the Raichu again...
Oh wait, he said to confuse. And not just the Raichu, but the trainer too? She didn't know what would result from that, but using a Confuse ray was easier than attacking with Astonish, in her current situation.
Seance was close enough to the trainer to not have to move much. She released an even brighter light than before, so that it would affect the human as much as the Pokemon.

Normally he's just pull out swift wing and continue the battle, but the ghost type was resistent to most of the moves any way. Besides, the old guy was tough and earned his keep. he tossed his hands behind his head and walked away, heading back to the post. He would just have to go back empty handed today, like many others. Ah, well it was fun anyway. He glanced at his watch, saw the time, and then started to run. He did not want to be left behind.

Well since the Raichu was already confused... there was only one place the next confuse ray could go. Right into the dude's eyes. "AGH! What the hell man!" He stumbled around, appearing to be temporarily blinded by the attack. "Blast 'em Raichu!" "Rai!" The chu prepared to attack... but it ended up shocking itself instead. "CHUUU!" Ow.

We have to stay focused, Clyde, otherwise nothing else will go our way." Clyde nodded at Bonnie's response, "Cerberus it is then." He stated, also knowing the story behind the name. He would make sure his Absol would strike fear into the hearts of his opponents. And if he trainer Pandora hard enough, some day she would be a powerful Charizard. It was a perfect plan, although a little small for a team. Bonnie already had, what, four pokemon now? He felt like he was a little behind his partner.
He snapped back to reality again when Bonnie sat down. She always got like this, like being a Rocket was a job. Clyde might have treated it like a hobby, but it was a real job for Bonnie. The money he earned here was just some extra cash, money he could store up for something his parents wouldn't provide for him, which was essentially money that would collect dust. He had an account where he stored this dusty money, and would love to just give it all to Bonnie, but that was one mistake he wasn't going to make again. The teen had offered the extra money to her once, and she hadn't taken it very well. He had been so stupid, not catching it earlier that she would possibly be offended by it. Even if he was just being friendly and trying to help her out...He pushed those thoughts away.
The grunt sighed and sat down next to his friend. "Come on, Bonnie. I know you might think of this as 'work', but it can be fun, you know. We're not getting unfocused, like I said we could go train in celebration. It's fun, and it's training. What better way to get ready for future missions?" He smiled at Bonnie as he said this.

"Agent panther, reporting in."

With the person confused (hopefully), it should be easy enough to steal from him now... Especially with a weakened and equally confused Raichu by his side.
"Ok! Use Knock off now!" Leonard shouted.
Seance was very pleased that the Raichu's confusion took affect again, so she didn't have to soak up another Thunderbolt. But Knock off? Shouldn't that only be used against Pokemon with items...?
Then her eyes slid to the stumbling trainer and she understood. Pretending to attack the Raichu, she swerved away at the last moment and rammed into the trainer instead. She managed to knock off several things off his belt, including his Pokeballs and his tasers.
"Aw jeez, I think my Pokemon got confused by her own attack!" He said as he rushed over to him. Or more specifically, his fallen items.

Not cool!" he complained, the tasers and the other pokeball falling off his belt. "Raaaaiii..." the Zap mouse groaned, but finally snapping out of its confusion in time to see the Shuppet going after his trainer. Heeey... the fight was over here stupid! As a reminder the Raichu sent a jolt of electricity in the form of a thundershock.

Rocket Agent TRP The icy chill caused the little Chingling to chatter its teeth, but it didn't seem to do as much damage as the 'chu's electric attacks. "Tell that Pikachu what you think, darling. Make an Uproar!" "CHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINGLIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING!" The babymon's voice turning into an ear piercing shriek. Switch wasn't the only annoying Pokemon on the field! Oh lord, the noise. It was practically a physical force that battered Switch's eardrums; Hayes winced and looked at his watch. The sooner this got wound up, the better; while he had an alternate way home, the vans were less conspicuous. "Let's finish it up," he recommended, barely hearing the sound of his own voice. Whether his Pokemon heard him or not didn't make much difference; Switch had one goal now and it was to get that woman and her bell-brat to shut. Up. "P'ka!" he snapped, blasting another Discharge into the air.
