Name of weapon: Yin-Yang
Who owns the weapon: Kageko Valtieri
Where it was found/Who made it: Kageko has had Yin-Yang for as long as she can remember. According to her foster parents, she had been in possession of Yin-Yang even before they adopted. Its origins are unknown, but it is clear that the chakrams are not normal.
The Range of the weapon: short- to mid-range. Kageko can control Yin-Yang up to a hundred yard radius.
Weakness: Controlling the chakrams and changing their sizes requires concentration. Furthermore, the strength of the chakrams, both in their defensive properties and the sharpness of their blades, also seem to depend on her focus. While she doesn't need to be focused/concentrated solely on her chakrams, becoming emotionally distressed or distressed in some other way will cause her to be unable to use her chakrams properly. When the chakrams break, the only way to fix it is for Kageko to solve the problem causing her distress. Only then will a blacksmith be able to fix it. Although the chakrams are resistant to most elements, the gaps in the weapon prevent any real blockage of most elemental attacks. As a result, their resistance is more for keeping them intact than for a defense.
Description: Yin-Yang is a pair of chakrams of which Kageko can control nearly every aspect of. The white one is called
Yang and the black one is called
Yin. As a whole, they are called Yin-Yang. Kageko is able to control the two chakrams separately and is even capable of causing them to move on their own, without any force from her. She is also able to change the sizes of the chakrams, making them as small as a key chain or as large as their default size, which depends on Kageko's current size. Maintaining the size after changing it does not require any effort. In the default size and smaller, the chakrams seem nearly weightless. Just as she is able to change the size of the chakrams, she is also able to change the sharpness of their blades. The chakrams seem to have a natural resistance to all elements (it doesn't even conduct electricity) and are extremely hard to break, almost impossible when Kageko's focus on what she is doing and the battle surrounding her is at its maximum. Only Kageko is able to wield the chakrams with their abilities. For anyone else, it'll be just like wielding normal chakrams. Whenever an ability of the chakram is used to change the chakram, one chakra point is taken out for each ability used per post. Controlling the chakrams drains one chakra point per post. Moving the chakrams, when there isn't any physical force behind them, also drains one chakra point per post (ex: controlling the chakrams after throwing them will cost one chakra point but causing them to shoot out after being stuck in the ground will cost two chakra points). The maximum amount that the chakrams can be accelerated at is the strongest that Kageko can throw them. As a result, her chakrams grow proportionally faster the smaller they are due to their decreased mass. No matter how large or small the chakrams are, they maintain the same amount of force. Although a smaller Yin-Yang inflicts a smaller area of damage, it also penetrates much deeper to make up for the disadvantage.

Kageko stood one side of the training field, her brother Vincente on the other. The two were both in a battle stance with their respective weapons, a pair of swords for her brother and Yin-Yang for Kageko. In preparation, Kageko had already dulled her weapon.
"I'll give you the first move," Vincente taunted, "You're going to need it."
"Hmph," Kageko pouted, "Just don't regret it," and she rushed off headlong towards her brother. Her chakrams, which were in their easy-storage, keychain size, grew to their default size as she rushed forward
Tossing Yin first, Kageko side-dashed to the left and tossed Yang at a different angle. Her brother, as expected, easily deflected them, but they simply came back, spinning a bit around him before attacking from various directions. Despite that, though, Vincente continued to easily deflect them. However, Kageko wasn't aiming to finish him off with just her chakrams. As they continued to attack and distract her older brother, the girl circled around and tossed five senbons at Vincente. The senbons hit… but not her brother. With an explosion, the ember clone dissipated, sending her chakrams flying. Thanks to their fire-resistance, they remained completely intact.
"Peek-a-boo," her brother teased as he attacked her from the shadows with his stealth. The attack, which had been with the blunt side of the blades, knocked Kageko onto her back.
"C'mon," her brother admonished, "You have to be stronger than that."
Kageko growled as got up, "Oh, don't worry, I'm not done yet."
With that, her chakrams shot out of the ground and towards her brother, faster and more furious than before.
"Now that's more like it!" Vincente praised as he defended himself, "Now if only you were like this all the time!".
"Don't think I 'm done yet," Kageko simply responded as she started to form an exploding ball of wind.
Vincente, intrigued in what was going to happen, didn't attempt to stop what his sister was doing and simply watched.
"Kaze Bakuhatsu!" Kageko announced as she tossed the ball at her brother, rapidly shrinking Yin-Yang as she did so. Her brother easily countered with a fire jutsu, only to find that now he had no idea where Kageko's chakrams were.
The ground around Vincente was full of nicks and cuts from the rocketing chakrams, nicks and cuts that hid the hole that the mini-chakrams were hiding in. Unable to find them, Vincente did what he did best and... rushed in for a direct attack.
"Wh-what?!" Kageko exclaimed as her brother came charging at her. She hadn't expected him to come charging. Before she could use her chakrams, Vincente had already tackled her and placed her in a definite position of defeat.
"Hmph," Vincente said confidently, "Good, but nowhere near good enough. Now then, who do you say thank you to for this very education spar?".
"Thank you Vincente nee-san," Kageko groaned robotically as she remained pinned to the ground by her brother's elbow.
