As Daichi made his way toward the raman shop, he noticed something peculiar: There was a mental conscious above him. However, he would not pinpoint it with his brain alone, and so he looked to the skies. The only thing he saw was a falcon. Hmm, is it a transformation of some sort? From the general emotions of the mind, he felt curiosity and cautiousness. Like a spy he thought. He formed a telepathic link with the bird to listen to the thoughts of it, if it was indeed a person in disguise. The person would not know a link formed unless Daichi chose to speak.

Rei walked to the Ramen shop and sees a shadow fly over his shoes. He looks up and sees a bird circling the building, "Hmm... a Falcon." Rei enters and sits next to Daichi. Rei orders his Ramen and asks for a napkin. When he is handed the napkin he pricks his finger with a senbon and writes in blood:
I'm new to this village but are there many Falcons here? Also, why would it be circling the building?
Rei shows the napkin to Daichi as he finishes. Rei becoming excited at the possibility of some entertainment starts imagining what it could be.

Daichi would have replied with his mind, but it was occupied with using the link. So he wrote: "There are some. Many small birds live in the trees, and the falcons eat them. It might be watching another bird. But, it is a conscious like us, so I think it is someone using transformation jutsu." He wrote very quickly, and was done in about 10 seconds. He was used to writing so, since he had been a student for years. All the while he kept the link open and listened for thoughts and complex emotions from the bird.

Taya tilted her body to the left, focused simply on turning to the side. Being a Falcon was hard work, as was any other transformation. She needed to stay close, so she decided to look around the Village. A few times she flapped her wings, rising even higher, and finally heading away from the Ramen Shop.

Daichi listened for thoughts, but nothing more than laboring to fly and the urge to stay on the trail of pray came to him, so he concluded it probably was just a falcon. He closed the link, and turned his attention to the chef. He pulled over a new napkin, and told the chef that he wanted a ramen with pork. The man looked at Daichi with a puzzled look before waiting for Rei's. Daichi then made a telepathic link with Rei. Just think, and I will hear you. he told Rei, and waited for his order to be completed.

Rei tells the man he wants veggie ramen and replies to Daichi, "Find anything else out about the Falcon?"

"It appears normal to me. It just has the normal thoughts of a falcon. Of course, that could just mean that the person didn't think anything. Its out of range now." Daichi folded his arms on the table, and waited.

Daichi shrugged nonchalantly. "We are only genin. Not much exciting happens until we get squads. Which reminds me, would you mind telling the cook to put mine in a to-go bowl? I need to go see Hokage-sama. You are welcome to come along. Daichi was eager to prove that he hadn`t just passed the exam without taking a class by mistake.
[I`m way too busy to do HV. I won`t really be able to handle another character until I get my modem. Its very time consuming to do this with a phone.]
Edit: Not only that, but I made a perfect score.

((Wow Deil, just wow,you know, the hole in the tip of my finger that I made with a senbon... so I could write the note... because I don't carry pens around... again, just wow))
Rei nods and waves over the waitress. She nods and heads to the back. A few minutes later she comes back with two to-go bowls. Rei hands the waitress the money for the bowls and stands ready to follow Deil.

Daichi did a rapid calculation, and then left a tip while he grabbed two chopstick packs. He laid one set on top of Rei`s bowl and under the hand, and then took his own from Rei. Daichi motioned with his free hand, and walked outside. He made a brief check for the falcon as he walked down the street. "Thanks for the ramen." he told Rei as they walked down the street.

Faith walked into the ramen shop and sat down at a table right behind Crystals. Faith ordered a bowl of ramen and sat waiting patiently. While waiting Faith pulled out a piece of paper and folded it into a already bloomed rose. Faith loved to do this when he was bored seeing as his clan was hard to come by and he only knew how to fold small things due to teaching himself. "I wonder just where my sister is now.." Faith quietly mumbled to himself half sad that he never knew when he would find his siblings or if they were still alive.
