Kaizen Minoru 改善 山崎實 Lotus of the Mist Fire | Lightning | Earth | Water | Wind
Basking in the warmth of the noon-day sun as it cascaded through his hospital room's window, Kaizen found himself lost in dreams of days much simpler than now. Memories of his training with Yamatano in the academy, and the preparation for the chuunin exams. Life had been so much simpler, easier. There were no Ghaniris. There were no maddening diseases ravaging the country-side. There was no Hokou.
Waking with a jerk, his breathing labored as sweat dripped from the tips of his wild hair. Lifting a hand to his face Kaizen sat for a moment, his hand trembling as the image of that great Pale Eye flashed in front of him. Lowering his hand once more after a long moment, Kaizen lifted his gaze to meet the sun as it shined on him. He had rested long enough, he had to find the answers he sought, and he wouldn't find them here. Rising from his bed, Kaizen grabbed the blades leaning against his night stand. A Katana and Wakizashi, sister blades forged in the same fire from the same steel, their abilities intended to be used in unison.
Dangling the small string which held both blades in tow over his shoulder, Kaizen made his way out of the hospital and towards the man he sought. A meeting he sought and dreaded, a meeting with the one man that could permit him to leave the village without being thought a traitor and made target of the Oinin. It was time to see the Mizukage, Luo Ushio."Dreams... what are they but a crutch for those too afraid to make their own path?"

"Still a child." A mysterious man uttered to himself as he watched Kaizen go, the boy entirely unaware of his presence. Sighing to himself, he decided to follow Kaizen to his destination, out of sight and out of sense, but always- as always- keeping an eye on the child, and even more importantly, his "guest".

Zin Naga Naga 'Demi-Prince' - 'Nin' - Naga Clan Head - Taijutsu Master - Legend of Shuntensatsu When Zin entered the hospital, the Naga prince was highly upset; or rather, highly pissed. If he found out that Natsu had not been attended to or better his student was in a room yet was not receiving care, it would be the doctor's head. He hardly cared about the trouble it would cause at the moment as the boy didn't wish to be in Kiri any longer than he had to. If the doctor healed his student when he came in, they could have been half way or at the gates of Konoha by then! The child was almost eager to bring a slaughtering of an individual as the corpse would be the first test subject after he makes a couple of adjustments to the DNA.
Walking straight towards the information desk, completely ignoring the person that was there Zin did his best to restrain his agitated hisses,"Has there been a boy, by the name of Natsu Dragoni? I must find him immediately." Nagi and Hitan raised their heads above the counter to somewhat leer at the person across the desk. Though they made no threatening gestures, the snakes simply 'stared' at the individual. Leering at them and flicking out their tongues in sync; it almost gave off the image that the snakes were finding the Med-Nin as a nice little meal. This wasn't helped by the small child that clambered over the desk to speak to the nin. whose eyes had the same fierce leer. This only made them type and search faster to get this odd group of nin. away from the desk for the foreboding feeling they gave off wasn't the friendliest in the least.

Zin Naga Naga 'Demi-Prince' - 'Nin' - Naga Clan Head - Taijutsu Master - Legend of Shuntensatsu After a bit of hours of waiting for the woman to hurry up and finish, Zin rose to his feet. His impatience was rising and waiting for her was making him highly upset. With every minute past the amount that he allowed her to have, Zin became more and more enraged. Finally, once his patience ran dry, the Naga prince walked himself back over to the desk and forced a smile; though one could clearly read that he wanted nothing more than to sink his bared fangs into her neck.
"Seeing that you can't accomplish the most simple task.... Could you at least give me a medical box for me to put my bleeding cloths?" When the woman caught sight of Zin's highly restrained face, she rather briskly complied to Zin's simple request. Once the box was placed onto desk he quickly snatched it and started to head out from the Hospital with Nagi and Hitan at his side. Heading straight for the gates of Kiri[ Exit to Kiri Gates ]

LordTares Tares Demascus Infinite One Master| Mist ANBU Captain| Jonin Commander| Lightning Terror |Bloody Mist
As the grass of the misty field slowly turned into concrete LT pulled Tenmou out of the earth and only glanced at the bloody mess of the Genin he had in his hands. Hopefully the poor kid would understand. But the Jonin had many other things to do, so he sprinted to the Hospital and found a suitable doctor to heal the boy. He left the boy in the emergency room as attendants quickly sprinted too and fro to hook him up to machines, mend bones, and prepare skin graphs. Tenmou was in good hands, and would be out soon. Then and only then would LT check and see how his motivation played out. It wasn't that he hated the boy, it was just that the lad needed to know the meaning of true respect. The Mizukage changed this village into one of respect, duty and honor rather than one run on money and power. LT was old enough to see and watch Luo as a boy, grow into a uh, older boy. Almost a man now. But he was there and whitened the village change under Luo. LT was there, by his side. But that was old history, Tenmou was the future. And LT was determined that in the future, yes the faces may change, and the places, but the Will of Fire 'to be good', 'To be respectful, honest, and loyal,' tha will be the future of Kiri.
LT gave the boy one last look, then he turned and headed back towards the fields.

Reiniku Arata Genin | Kirigakure | Medical shinobi | Suiton Sitting by his lonesome in a rather empty waiting room, Reiniku quietly began to drift away into a childish daydream of fighting shinobi and heroic missions. He had made his way to the hospital to seek training, but the rushed nurses and tired medical shinobi had no time to even notice the young boy, let alone help him. Thus Rein had been forced to spend a good part of his day twiddling his thumbs as nurse after nurse helped the far more important looking patients within the waiting room. The only thing that justified waiting was the quick chance of spotting a man whom had super-glued a tissue box to his face, or maybe it was that woman who had sewed an entire shirt onto her left hand. There was even one boy who had lost a finger to a snapping turtle, though that wasn't as nearly as funny as the first two. 'If I knew it was going to be this busy, I would have asked someone outside for training...' A thought that had slowly played on repeat for a better part of an hour, Rein sighed to himself as he pulled a small journal from his back pocket. 'I might as well write if I am stuck h-' Rein's trail of thought was interrupted as he suddenly patted his various pockets quite vigorously. "Oh come on!" Groaning out of sheer annoyance as he slumped further down into his chair, Rein tossed the journal into the chair beside himself. His small display of frustration was enough to attract more than one wandering stare, and Rein was quick to blush with embarrassment. Averting his gaze from the questioning stares of the other's, Rein softly muttered "I don't have a pencil..." Tenmou opened his eyes. The first thing he did was reach for his knife and draw it. He sat up, ignoring the shooting pain in his body. He'd been placed in a recovery ward for the last hour or so, after the long bout of healing from the medical shinobi. He snarled, seeing that his target wasn't there. He wanted to kill now. He was that angry. At this point he didn't care who it was, so it was lucky that there was nobody in his room or they'd be dead. He sheathed his knife with a resounding click and stood up, again ignoring the pain. He ripped the IV from his arm, causing an alarm to sound. A pair of medical shinobi walked in and tried to talk him back to bed. Tenmou lashed out, catching one in the jaw before the other knocked him out.
When he came to a few minutes later, he saw he was restrained to the bed. He struggled against them until one of the medical shinobi arrived. Apparently he was free to go now, if he didn't attack. "On my honour." Tenmou said sarcastically. The shinobi unlocked the restraints and Tenmou got up. He walked over to the door of the ward and left, heading back to the fields.

Reiniku Arata Genin | Kirigakure | Medical shinobi | Suiton Still fussing over his lost pencil, Reiniku unconsciously began to eavesdrop on the conversations of others to pass the time. Nearby an elderly mother was scolding her now fingerless son about the dangers of snapping turtles as they exited the hospital, and a young woman was slowly telling her nurse about the vicious needle that attacked her unprovoked. These conversations were both rather tickling to Reiniku's humorous side, but neither helped him in his current situation. In fact, Rein began to fear that he would slowly become stranded in the hospital! What would his mother think if he never came home again? Another victim of the hospital's never ending appetite for medical shinobi in training! No! He couldn't think of such things during a crisis such as this! He would have to keep a level head, or he might succumb to the hospital's wrath. Heck! Rein could feel the lampshades of the room just eying his every move, waiting like a predator for one measly mistake in order to make their assault. Rein was about to defend himself from the hospital's deadly lampshades, a wandering hand unconsciously wandering to his kunai holster as he glared at the nearest lamp, when the rather soft voice of a timid nurse reached his sensitive ears. "Here, this is for Dr. Lothar..." The nurse glanced carefully in both directions before setting a brown paper bag on the nurse's desk in the lobby. "You know how he is if he doesn't get his daily dose..." The timid nurse spoke quietly to her desk-bound sister in arms, nodding awkwardly to make sure the desk-bound nurse understood what was in the bag before quickly shuffling off. Rein's wandering mind quickly picked up on the situation before him, his curiosity nearly causing him to snatch the bag and run rather than question what had just happened. 'No, resist the temptation...' Rein was arguing with himself now, and he was almost certain that the vast amount of time he had spent within the hospital was slowly driving him insane. Yet the bag stood tall, taunting the boy by merely concealing its contents from a wandering glance. 'But what is it?' Deciding to play sleuth, Rein grabbed the journal from the seat beside him. He swiftly opened the notebook to a fresh page before thoughtlessly grabbing the pencil that had been behind his left ear the entire time. 'The paper bag belongs to a Dr. Lothat? Or was it Lowbar... I can't remember' Rein thought to himself as he drew a small paper bag in the center of his blank page, connecting the unknown chin doctors name to the small illustration of the bag with a solid black line. 'The inside of the bag is unknown...' Drawing a question mark, Rein once again connected the new mark to the paper bag with a solid line. Leaning back as he replaced the pencil to its rightful spot behind his left ear, Reiniku calmly stared at his small chart. 'So if a doctor is connected to that bag, and he needs it...' Rein smirked beneath his cloth mask as a scheming sparkle shimmered softly in his eyes. 'Then I could bait him out with the bag, and when he comes I could hold the bag hostage until he trains me!' It was a childish plan brought on by the fatigue of sitting alone for hours on end. But it was also a plan none the less, and Rein was determined to draw this unknown doctor out from his hiding place. Snapping his journal shut, Rein readied himself for the theft. "Excuse me..." Rein's soft voice muttered as he quietly made his way toward the front desk. "Would you point out the bathrooms to me?" Rein feigned embarrassment as he spoke to the nurse, a slight blush playing at his cheeks as he spoke. But as soon as the woman turned her head away to point at the mens bathroom, Rein swiped the bag, stashing his prize into the depths of his shirt before walking away once again. "Thanks, I guess I don't need to go now though..." Quick footed and as cautiously as he could, Rein slowly made his way back to his seat. 'This is a bottle of alcohol...' Rein thought as he removed the rather large glass bottle from its bag, surprised that a doctor would ever need or even want such a thing while on duty. 'Why would he need this...?' He was careful to set the bottle on the table in front of him, close enough to quickly snatch up but far enough out to make it easy to spot. 'Now we wait...' Rein could of smiled with the joy of a successful theft, but he was cautious enough to keep his face as blank as he possibly could. Knowing it would be better to look dumb and unknowing than happy and proud at a time like this. That's what I've decided to justify this post with. Insanity brought on by fatigue... Deal with it.]

As the hospital's patients and nurses went about their daily business, no one except the newest patients turned their heads in shock as the double doors leading to the Doctor's quarters burst open, revealing the most unkept doctor that most, if not all of them, had ever seen. His silver hair, tied into a short ponytail was messy and matted, his lab coat full of blood and alcohol stains, and, for reasons still unknown even to Dr. Lothar himself, he had a long toy snake stuck in the sleeves of his coat. Walking- or more appropriately, stumbling- the Doctor walked over to the nurse's counter, expecting to find his weekly bottle of Captain Morgan's before the afternoon shift. Only problem was....his bottle was not there. "What......what......WHAT?!?!?!? HOW CAN THIS BE! I'M NEVER WITHOUT A LITTLE CAPTAIN IN ME!!!!!" The doctor yelled, searching frantically around he room for his precious rum. As even the nurses turned to stare at Lothar in disbelief, his eyes became fixed on a small boy sitting in a waiting chair- or more specifically, on the bag in front of him. An evil grin locked on his face, Dr. Lothar slowly approached the boy, his eyes evilly suspicious. "Well helloooooo there, child. Tell me, have you ever heard the story of the boy who once stole a doctor's materials?" Lothar asked the boy in a voice far, far too sweet to be friendly.

Reiniku Arata Genin | Kirigakure | Medical shinobi | Suiton Reiniku was about to give up on waiting when a rather loud doctor burst though the waiting room doors. The man, seemingly barely able to walk, was a sight Rein had most definitely not prepared himself for. As the so called doctor looked to be more of a drunk than a man of medicine. 'Oh please don't be Lowbar... Or was it Locar...?' Rein thought to himself, keeping a look of pure innocence set upon his cheeks as he watched the drunk stumble around the waiting room in a panicked state. 'Is he even supposed to be here?' But despite Rein's judgmental thoughts, and to his silent amusement, the drunken man seemed to find what he was looking for, as he was surely making his way toward Rein and his stolen loot. As the man arrived, Rein have a friendly little wave, trying his hardest to hold back a laugh as he waited for the man to speak. Though he didn't have to wait long, for the man was quick to speak in an eerily friendly tone. As the man spoke, Rein was quick to wrap a protective arm around the contents of the brown bag. Eying the drunk carefully as he prepared himself to drop the bag out the open window behind him. "Wait! I think I have heard it before!" Rein exclaimed in a voice dripping with false excitement, "The boy knew exactly how much the doctor's materials meant to the doctor, so he decided to hold the materials hostage until the doctor agreed to teach the boy everything he knew!" While he spoke, Rein was careful to keep a childish grin upon his face, as if to taunt the man before him. "I think that was how it went, and in the end everyone was happy!" All semblance of color drained from his face as Dr. Lothar's precious rum hung out the window by the strength of a mere child's grip. The Doctor thought his situation couldn't get worse, until he heard the price of the ransom: Medical Training. "What? Oh...Oh come on! Why can't Chen ever been on call when you wannabe doctors come calling?!? Why must I train all you newbies?!?!?" Lothar yelled in an over-dramatic fashion. Unfortunately, he knew when he was beat, and when his alcohol was in the hands of another, there was very little Lothar wouldn't do to get it back. "Alright, kid, I'll train you. Just...give me the captain back. I need a little captain in me to get through the evening shift."

The world was completely white as Yamatano Hatake opened his eyes, a doctor waving a light ball of chakra in his eyes, checking his pupils. His field of vision slowly adjusted to see the ceiling above him, dull white like the rest of the room, and the several concerned faces around him, mainly his family, and the doctors in his room. As his vision returned, so did his clarity of thought. "Wh...what? What is this? Wh-where am I?" The people within the room looked at each other nervously before one doctor stepped forward, saying, "Lord Yamatano, you're in the hospital. When Lord Mizukage used his wind jutsu to push you away, you fell on one of your hidden blades. You lost so much blood before that snake of yours noticed and got you out of there. But even so, you've been unconscious for the past three weeks. Its an absolute miracle your lung wasn't punctured."
Hardly able to believe the doctor, Yamatano brought his hand to his chest, where sure enough, he felt the shallow indentation on his right side from the scar of a stab wound. "You've recuperated in the time we've had you here. We were very worried when you weren't waking up, but Dr. Lothar insisted that you would eventually. While you're better, however, I strongly advise that you take leave of your duties for the time being, and- L-Lord Yamatano, what are you doing!" Yamatano, no longer listening, had gotten out of the bed and was making his way for the door, a deep scowl etched into his face. Despite the protests of his family and the doctors, Yamatano made his way out of the room, through the hospital doors, and towards the Hatake compound, thankful for the mask that had been kept around his face, and the pants he wore beneath the hospital gown.

Kaizen Minoru 改善 山崎實 Lotus of the Mist Weapon Specialist | Speed | Gobi Host | Chakra Control | Dance of the Thunder God
"We are the culmination of every choice we have ever made..."The sun shone high in the sky, motes of light playing strangely in the swirling mists of Kirigakure. A beam of light passed through an open window of the the village's hospital, settling on a bedridden Kaizen Minoru, one hand covering half of his face as he stared at the ceiling with one pale eye. How long have I been here now... he thought to himself, not for the first time. Grabbing a fistful of his bed-sheets, Kaizen ground his teeth in frustration. He was no good to anyone in this bed, and he would be damned if he missed the chance to escort Luo to a foreign nation.
Throwing back the blanket draped over him, Kai swung his legs over the side of bed before grabbing his stomach as he began convulsing violently. In the back of his head Kai thought he heard Hokou snickering at his weakness. "Shut up...", Kaizen said through gritted teeth as he struggled to his feet, putting a hand on his bedside table for support. A sudden bark at the foot of his bed drew Kai's eyes towards his constant companion, Aikou, looking up at him with his unique, too-intelligent eyes. Smiling reassuringly at his friend, Kai then turned his gaze towards his swords lying in a nearby corner, and began walking stiffly towards them, wary of causing another wave of pain.
Placing his weapons into the sash around his waist, Kai began walking towards the rooms only window and lifted a leg to the window-sill as he prepared to leap to the roof on the neighboring building. "And just where do you think you're going young man!", an all too familiar voice scolded. Turning his head to look over his shoulder, Kaizen shot a nervous smile at the hospital's head nurse, her arms crossed under her ample bosom. Foot tapping impatiently, the woman lifted one eyebrow expectantly as her gaze shot daggers at Kai.
"Heh heh, well you see nurse Kozuki I was just...", Kaizen began to explain before he realized there really was no way to explain away the situation. Swallowing nervously, Kai glanced from the window to the nurse then back again before finally launching himself out of the window. As he dashed across the roof-tops, Kaizen chuckled as nurse Kozuki's shrill cry chased him all the way to the Mizukage's Tower."... but sometimes, the right choice isn't always clear." Kaizen Minoru 改善 山崎實 Lotus of the Mist Fire | Lightning | Earth | Water | Wind
Arriving at the hospital, Kaizen stood outside the doors for a moment, nervously ringing his hands. Nurse Kozuki was a formidable woman, and he was sure that she would not be at all pleased on his method of leaving the hospital... especially now that he was back for medication he probably should have received here. Placing a hand on the door with a sigh, Kai turned his head to look down to meet Aikou's patient stare before pushing the door open and walking through. The main lobby was busy, though, with the relative peace they were enjoying, there didn't seem to be any real emergency cases. But it wasn't the state of the lobby he was interested in, he need to see a pharmacist about getting some medication.
After meandering through the halls for a while, more than one person stopping to stare in surprise at a wolf following him through the halls, Kai found the pharmacy. There was a short line, but Kaizen didn't mind the wait. After about ten minutes, it was finally his turn, but as he stepped up to the counter, a voice he had been dreading called out behind him."When I heard about a white-eyed boy and his wolf walking around my halls I just knew it would be you. So glad to have you back, Mr. Minoru..., said nurse Kozuki in a curt alto.
Turning around, Kaizen ran a hand through his wild, white locks to scratch nervously at the back of his head, before meeting nurse Kozuki's furious glare. Standing with her hands placed on her hips, one foot tapping the floor impatiently, she was the very image of a woman about to give the sharp side of her tongue. Before she could open her mouth to speak, however, Kai frantically began to explain, "Nurse Kozuki, so wonderful to see you again! I was just, uh, coming to pick up some medicine to help, um, speed along my recovery. I've got a very important mission, you see, given by the Mizukage himself, and I need to be at one-hundred percent as soon as possible."
A long moment passed till only a tense silence filled the air, Kaizen's nervous stare meeting nurse Kozuki's glare, with the rest of the rooms eyes darting back and forth between them. He could almost see the woman's mind working as she began to chew on her bottom lip. She knew as well as he did that if the Mizukage wanted him for a mission there was next to nothing she could do about it. At the same time, Kai realized that women weren't always entirely rational, especially angry women. Suddenly nurse Kozuki stalked forward, eliciting a slight jump from Kai, and right to the pharmacist's counter. As she began barking order at the diminutive man standing behind the counter, the woman pulled out a notepad and began scribbling furiously. When the man returned after a moment, a small bottle in his hands, Kozuki snatched it away and turned towards Kai.
Shoving the bottle and note she had written into his chest, Kozuki said with barely contained rage, "Take one tablet twice daily, the note has the name of the medication and the instructions should you forget them."
Looking down at the bottle and note, Kai blinked twice before finally taking them. Looking up to meet the nurse's gaze, all he could do was nod as she gave her instructions. Standing there for a moment after she finished, Kai bowed and gave his thanks before turning to leave, shaking his head as if he still couldn't believe he got away without so much as tongue lashing. A broad grin suddenly split his face as he continued forward. Whatever the reason, it had to be a good sign, maybe things were going to start going his way, that would be nice."Dreams... what are they but a crutch for those too afraid to make their own path?" The night nurse's face was a look of confusion and horror as Hatake Himura walked through the door, a half dead child slung across his shoulder. "There was a disagreement." Was all the man said as the nurse called for a stretcher. Within moments, the boy was laying in a bed, his wounds being treated, and his condition stabilizing. Himura thought to leave, but when he thought about the kid's violent nature at Nikko's, opted to stay. He didn't think the kid would actually try to fight the doctors, but then again, he didn't think the kid would fight a seasoned Jounin either. "Children..." was all Himura thought as he began to doze off in the waiting chair.
