Great Goddess Gardinia haloshatterer v2 Great Goddess Gardinia haloshatterer v2 The Vilespawn Archfiend haloshatterer v2 it's warm here even in winter though, when i'm at MY home though it gets down to the minuses in winter Are you saying that YOU don't live in Australia normally? i've never been outside australia, i live in the northern tablelands, i'm visiting my mum's house at the moment and we went to "Wet'n'Wild" for my brothers birthday. My city is much higher in altitude and we are inland, meaning we have colder weather, my mum's house is on the coast, hot and humid weather all year round So do you see a lot of platypodes in Aulstralia? I think I read that they're native there. do you mean platypus/platypi? they are endangered and protected now, so you mostly see them in wildlife preserves, which we have a lot of. it's very rare to see them wild now...unlike kangaroos, they are annoying and yes they are both native solely to Australia Platipodes is actually the correct plural form. I knew my rampant nerdery would pay off! I too have always wanted to see one in person. Not so much kangaroos, they're not as funny. either words can be used for the pluralism, the sydney aquarium and most zoos in australia have platypus enclosures. roos are particularly unfunny when they bound across the road and get taken out by your car at 100kph (60mph)

As often as deer get hit by cars?

most of the time you actually won't see the roo before it decides to play chicken with your car and lose. my mum hit a roo a few years ago at 100kph, it decapitated the roo and crippled the front of the car before the body took out both of the doors on the passengers side (the passengers side is on the left in Aussie cars because we have right hand drive vehicles not left), both doors were taken out, my brother, who was also in the car actually had to climb out on the drivers side because the door was that crushed.
if the roo had've been about a foot to the left when the car struck, he would have been missed completely, if he had've hit a foot to the right, it would have written off the car instantly, my mum had to drive a further 100km in the crippled car after so that she could get to where my grandma lives
there is something that can be bought to repel animals, they are called roo whistles, at speeds of over 30kph, they emit a subsonic sound that repels animals... they don't always work though

Was I alone in thinking something along the lines of "Holy s**t!" there? When deer get hit they generally go up and over the car damaging the windsheild, and sometimes killing people. I don't know what the extent of the damage generally is to the car, but deer can be quite dangerous to cars.

God's way of wearing off the 'Baby Cuteness' factor... at least from a parents point of view anyway. 3nodding
