Hearing the clicking of a Horses hoof, Chloe looked around, trying to find the Animal, when her teal eyes caught an unfamiliar sight. A boy on a Horse, both of them very ragged. 'The poor creatures...' She thought. 'I wonder if I can help them...' Passing though many bystanders, Chloe waved her hands at the Boy, trying to get his attention. "I hope Mother lets me aid these two..." she said under her breath.

"Yes, well..." She began. "..I was wondering if you needed a place to stay, for i see you do not live here yourself." Her voice calm, and steady, her eyes never faltered.

Chloe held her hand out, as a truce, and as a friendly gesture.

She pointed behind them, towards a few small houses. "That-a-way." *he nodded* you may want to hold on, Steel here can be a rough ride *he patted the horses neck, then kicked it's sides, making the horse jump away from the crowd and speed down the street toward the houses like a demon out of hell*

She pointed to the average looking house, with bushes, and vines sticking out ether which way. It had all kinds of flowers and vegetables imaginable. *Sabin gradually slowed the horse to a trot and stopped next to the house, careful not to allow Steel to step into the yard on the plants* nice place *he got down off the horse and held his hand up, offering to help the girl off the horse*

Turning to the Boy, she held her gaze steady to his, smiling softly. "My name is Chloe. May I ask yours?" She opened the small gate, holding her warm house from the rest of the cold city.

Chloe said blankly, walking inside the gate. "But it must be a horrible thing. To break horses." Her voice was steady, but it had a kind of tone that could stab at the heart. "To hurt poor creatures purposely, is somewhat unforgivable..." She turned to him, her eyes cold, but her face stern. "Wouldn't you agree, Mr. Blood?"

"Wouldn't you agree, Mr. Blood?" *Sabin walks in the gate behind her, leading Steel in behind him* Back when I rode to live up to that nickname, I wouldn't have agreed, but now that I've left that part of me behind, things are different...but then, thats how I ended up here *he laughed humorlessly* but breaking horses in itself, is not terrible. It just depends on the person riding.

"And do you think if you broke a horse, it would make it any less worse?" She opened the door with her key, and stepped inside, taking off her slip-ons and replacing them with slippers. "Those black one's over their are for guest." She pointed to a black pair in the corner. After placing her slip-ons in their own little corner, she walked into the warm kitchen, the smell of a triple berry pie being made. "Mother." Chimed Chloe. "I found a strange walking the street's along with his horse. I suggested he stay with us for the time being."
Her Mother sighed, facing her daughter. "Sweetheart." She began. "I love you dearly, and support you for everything I can. But do you know this stranger at all?" She seemed worried, but her own voice never raised.
"In fact, I do." Chloe retorted. "His name is Sabin, or as most would know him, Blood."
Her mother looked at her daughter vaguely. "Alright...He is welcome to stay, but he must help around the house, along with you. And, he must go along with you to that new school."
Chloe smiled sweetly, embracing her mother tightly, then letting go to peek out of the door way. "You can come in now." She said blankly.
