"Couldn't hurt to try..." Kenji went into one of the pouches on his back and took a kunai out, jamming the sharp end into a loose part of the tile and pushed down on the handle, as he tried to pry the tile up.

After pushing down hard, Kenji managed to dislodge the tile, bringing it up slowly at first as he and Haruko grabbed a hold of the surprisingly heavy tile, removing it from the ground completely to reveal a a flat stone panel with three kunai-shaped holes in it. Each hole emitting a faint color from below...one which was Blue, another Green, and the third one Purple.

Haruko stared at the three glowing kunai-shaped holes in wonder and after thinking for a few minutes she turned to face Kenji with a dejected look on her face, "Well, I give up. I can't seem to figure out why the holes each have different colors. I assumed that maybe it had something to do with our chakra elements but that's about as far as I can get. Your turn Kenji-san."

"Well, if they were chakra elements, what would purple be? I've never heard of the purple element. The holes are kunai-shaped, so I say we put kunai in." Reaching into his pouch again, Kenji brought out two more kunai, and along with the first, placed them in the slots.

Nothing happened intially, but after about 10 seconds, the kunai began to shake and rumble before they were shot up out of the slots they were placed in, sending them about 15 ft in the air, bouncing off of the mirrored tiles on the ceiling and then falling back down to the ground with 3 clangs.

Haruko watched as Kenji place the kunai into the slots without adding any chakra to them only to have them fly out 10 seconds later. 'Purple? what element could be considered purple?...Sound? Could sound be the answer that we're looking for.'
Picking up the two kunai closest to her, Haruko motioned for Kenji to do the same, "Hey, Kenji-san. Lets try this one more time, this time I want you to add water chakra to your kunai as you place it into the blue slot and I'll place earth into one and sound into the other. Hopefully this works." Haruko said as she filled one kunai with earth chakra before placing that one in the green slot. Once she placed the first kunai in, she quickly added sound chakra to the second one and placed it into the purple slot.

"Okay...but wouldn't nature be better for the green light then earth?...I would think that earth would be a brown color of some kind. Here, I'll spike the other kunai with some nature chakra , just to be safe." doing as Haruko did, Kenji concentrated some chakra aligned with the water element into one kunai, placing it into the blue slot and some nature-aligned chakra into the "earth" kunai.
"Good thinking Haruko!"

Haruko gave him a small smile, "Thanks, and good idea with the nature thing. Hopefully this all works out." Haruko then turned her attention back to the kunai to see how they would react this time around.

The three kunai started to flash their respective colors as the chakra reacted with the light. the 3 kunai began to flash with color faster and faster and it all seemed to be going well until the lights stopped flashing and the kunai started to shake again, before being dispelled as before. The kunai struck the ceiling again and then fell to the ground as they had before.
The lights within the tile remained glowing lightly as they were originally, though the energy in the kunai had dissipated.

Kyoma Sakura Kyoma gasped, quickly pulling her hand away from the tile. She looked suspicously from the tile she had just touched and her fingertips which were now mildly burned. She put her fingers to her mouth, sucking on them a bit before turning to Akio. "Hey, Akio-san, check this out! There's something weird about this tile right here!" She pointed her gloved hand to the tile she had just touched and held out her other glove to him. "You might want to put this on first." Akio began walking toward Kyoma and pulled a glove for his right hand out of a pocket "Sorry Kyoma, but i think your glove might be a little small, luckily i brought my own" Akio beamed as he put his glove on "They're weighted gloves, but i'm sure that won't make much of a difference" Akio said before he reached out and touched the tile

When you touch the tile, the heavy gloves protect you, but you can tell that the tile is searingly hot. After a few seconds, you are forced to remove your hand from the tile as the heat intensifies, unless of course you would like to lose your glove, and all feeling or use in that hand.

Haruko released a depressed sigh before giving Kenji a small smile. "Well it seems, that didn't work. What should we try next?" Haruko looked around the room again before her eyes stopped to stare at that one tiles with a different temperature than the others. 'I wonder if that tile holds any special properties? What if, thes two things connect? Hm...' A glaze look appeared in Haruko's eyes as she lost herself in her thoughts.

Kenji remained calm in spite of the failed attempt at the puzzle, and was intrigued by the puzzle the Cave had put in front of them. Kenji had always enjoyed puzzles, and liked the process of figuring them out. "Hmmm...well, that looked promising for a second, but it seems like the Cave has a sense of humor in tricking us into thinking we are right."
Kenji thought for a few seconds as Haruko bade him to figure out the next part of the puzzle as he remembered what they had experienced just before prying this tile loose. "Well, there is still the mystery of that cold tile over there. I would doubt highly that the room would contain two phenomena like this if they weren't part of the overall puzzle. Let's see what we can learn about it."

Haruko snapped out of her thoughts as she heard Kenji spoke and nodded at his deduction. "I agree, there's bound to be more to this puzzle than what meets the eye." Standing up, Haruko began walking closer to the strange tile. "Do you think something special will happen to this tile when we insert the three chakra imbedded kunai into their respective holes? Earlier when we tried it, we were too focused on the kunai and not to our surrondings. And do you think, just maybe, their might be more than one strange tile such as this?" Haruko asked as she reached the tile from earlier.
