My new belly-button stud! I got it just today. (You can still see the smudges of pen markings made by the piercer.)  Ugh, my stomach looks awful. I'm not supposed to have granny-abs when I'm only 25. stressed

Thanks. But I know you can see all the stretchmarks from my pregnancy days. razz Still, I'm glad you like it. When it's healed enough that I can change the studs out, I'll put in the anchor one. (I want to get a matching bikini for that one too. biggrin )

heh, not everywhere... I know quite a few lesbians who are just as obsessive over their appearance as any girl. whee
more often than not they are the girlier, more effeminate lesbos, rather than the "butch" ones, though there are always exceptions. the more confidant self-empowered women tend to ironically put almost as much pressure on girls to be perfect as men do, even when hey don't mean to. confused it's ironic in it's own way... there are so many lesbian lolitas that it's hard to tell them apart from "c**k-doll" lollies (please forgive the crude term).
of course this obviously bleeds over into the bisexual zone quite a bit, especially when you see mixed pairings of lesbians and bisexuals. in some cases I've found certain gay women to be verbally abusive of effeminate lesbians and any bisexuals. usually though this only comes from fem-nazi types.
myfriend Liz, however, was pushed to suicide by another girl relatively recently. I don't like it at all, and in fact that incident led me to a decision to go to war with that b***h. nobody hurts my friends like that and gets away with it! stressed
my little tangeant turned into a rant, oh my... sweatdrop
my point is, I don't see lesbianism showing much of a difference in the self-conscious attitudes of women. regardless of sexual attraction, the pressures put on females are exceedingly burdensome and completely unfair.
