Regulus frowned and folded his arms. " Just what did you guys get into? If I'm going to agree to this I at least want to be informed as to what to expect....", he said pensively as he tried to piece together what was going on.

Anora turned and answered the warrior's question. "Well, if it wasn't obvious, we're all pregnant. And its because of these." She pulled out the little statute she still had in her sack and showed it to him. "We don't know if it'll affect you, but I don't want to take any chances." She said as she put it back in the bag.

"I do."Mina said pulling the one from her bag and pushing it against him. It let out a small cackle sound before just sitting still. Mina pulled it away and looked at it. "did, did this thing just laugh?"She asked looking to the others. She did it the again and it did the same thing. She frowned and put it away. "I swear this thing is mocking me, for trying to use it on a guy."

Regulus gave a questioning look at the girls then shrugged. He'd seen stranger things happen with magical items. " What kind of enemies are we talking here? Brigands? Thieves? Mercenaries?", he asked casually hoping in the back of his mind that he wasn't going to wake up with a swollen gut.

"The usual country rubbish," Roxanne states, counting them off on her fingers. "Brigands... beast-men... desperate peasants... maybe a few orcs or goblins. Nothing a group our size can't handle, we just need a buffer as we'll be slower to react due to these." She nodded downwards at her belly for emphasis.

"At least you got magic" Michiyo stated as she grabbed one of her knives. "I don't know if I can even use this now. I mean i used to be swift and fast....now I'm slow..." She said getting alittle sad.

"Were all in the same boat, girl. Just some have it worse off than others." Anora responded to Michiyo's complaint with that quip. Anora probably had the least trouble. She still had full control of her magic and her dagger was enchanted, so it would do most of the work for her.

Regulus nodded silently. It didn't seem like too much opposition, but he still wasn't sure how big that group of bandits he'd stirred up was. He sighed, it seemed he'd have to deal with that when it came up. Hopefully they would wait until this outing was over. Even if they didn't, he was more than certain he could hold his own against those odds. He nodded, " That seems reasonable. I'll be more than happy to help out."

"If you're afraid to put yourself at risk in melee, put your speed and agility to use with a bow." Roxanne told Michiyo, "Nothing wrong with self-preservation..."
Waddling over to a chest beside her bed Roxanne, with some difficultly, knelt beside it as she began shuffling through assorted trinkets and tomes. Pulling out a fist-sized purse from somewhere within it she tossed it to Regulus. "There should be enough in there to repay you for the clothes as well as purchase a reasonable sized carriage or covered wagon."

Regulus caught the purse and weighed it carefully in his palm. He nodded and tied the purse to his belt. He had issues with carriages, but he pushed those thoughts to the edge of his mind. He knew that in their condition it would be the easiest form of transportation on them. He remembered passing a booth that had a carriage for sale that would suit their needs. " That'll work. I'll secure the carriage and some horses while you girls get ready.", he said as he started for the door.

"As we want to avoid public eye, I shall scribe us a portal that will allow us to go from this room to said carriage." Retrieving a vial of green-yellow liquid from her box, Roxanne cleared space in the center of the room and began drawing demonic runes about the floor.

"I'd rather take the public eye."Mina said sitting down and rubbing her belly. "I've seen what can go wrong with portal spells and I'd rather not risk my kids."She jumped slightly and blushed. She looked down at her belly then back up still blushing. "Y-you know what I mean." She continued to rub at her belly, jumping some when the kids started to kick. "I really need to get used to that."She whispered.

"Well, with so many spell casters here, its either going to be done just right, or horribly wrong..." Anora said. "I say we go for it. I would rather wait to finish it until he returns with the carriage, though. That way there's no chance of us missing it, trying to jump straight in while he's bringing it."

Regulus purchased the carriage and some horses in the market with little incident, which he was glad for. He hitched the horses up and started for the inn at a casual pace. He hummed a drinking song quietly to himself as he made his way.
