Again... returning to the original topic.
I tend to despise characters like Darken Rahl... And Drefen. I think there is a special place in hell for them.
But at the same time I love the characters like the D'haran Army and the Mord-sith and such simply because they didn't WANT to end up how they did but because of "Circumstances" (Read: Darken Rahl and/or Jagang) they were forced to become these foul loathesome whisps of humanity driven by insanity. I feel sorry for them... to a point. I'm not saying that I like all the "characters of circumstance"... only the ones who really didn't like the situation they were in but couldn't do anything about it. Those who LIKED the Status quo and didn't change in the end can join Jagang, Darken Rahl, and Drefen in the Abyss.

Why do you have this unrealistic notion that after fifteen pages or so a thread would ACTUALLY stay in topic? neutral *shakes head at the absurdity*

Galen Kiuchenathus Loiren Why do you have this unrealistic notion that after fifteen pages or so a thread would ACTUALLY stay in topic? neutral *shakes head at the absurdity* Threads never stay on topic. You'd run out of things to say on the topic. >_<

Actually... I COULD very much see how one can stay on topic in just about any of these topics for more than fifteen pages. There is just so much to talk about in the world of SoT. Hell, my sister and I have spent HOURS on end discussing various points of SoT. And these weren't simple discussions where we changed topics every few seconds... these were on very in depth things like Why certain charactes, classes, and such are the way the are and such.
Its not impossible... its just you guys aren't thinking looking into the books, or yourselves, for ways to stay on topic for more than a few posts.

Yeah, and it does so happen that some might want to bring something up at the moment of this thread because if they brought it up at the chatting thread of the guild the people that are discussing in this one wouldn't know what it was about.
Seriously. o.o
