(Understandable. I needed a reason to come back anyway.)
Bradley reached the shore, suffiently convinced he had run as far as he needed to. There was an odd feeling in the back of his mind that something was going wrong back where he had come from. With speed that allowed most of the rain to leave his clothing, he sped back towards town, keeping his nostrils open the entire time. As he came closer to the building, he knew he had done wrong leaving in the first place when he smelt another vampire. All he could think of was the danger that Marie could be in. He bounded up into the house in absolute silence, stalking to the doorframe inbetween the kitchen and the room he had entered. With dark eyes and a clentched jaw, he stared holes in the stranger, all while keeping an eye out for Marie.

"No, you can't. You aren't welcome here." Marie said coldly, staring up into his dark red eyes that were slightly hidden by his light brown hair. "Leave, now." . "Don't you have any manners. You don't talk to your father that way..." He said, backhanding her. Marie straightened herself, wiping the trickle of blood from her lip. "Like I said, you aren't welcome here, for obvious reasons." She said boldly. . Alexander, her father, narrowed his vision at her spilt blood, tainted in his opinion, not worth taking. She was worthless to him, someone a bit more durable than a human that he could toy with. He quickly threw her to the floor. "You're lucky I enjoy these visits so much, or else you'd be dead a long time ago."

Seeing as his entrance had been ignored, Bradley watched the events unfold infront of him. He clenched his teeth tighter before flying across the room to crash into the other vampire. He had seen enough. His face was contorted into a vicious beast's, his own red eyes staring into that of Marie's father as he forced him to the ground. By no means was he worrying about the damage he would cause, as he only had one motive in his mind; protect Marie.

Marie's head had hit the granite floor of the kitchen with enough force to blur her vision and make her ears ring. Sure, she was more durable than a human, but her father was a vampire, and knew how much force to exert on her to make her hurt. It was a blur as Brad made his way through the house and knocked her father aside. . Alexander smirked, even though he was tackled to the ground. "Ah, I was wondering when you'd interfere..." His nose being sharper than Marie's, even with his mind preoccupied, he had put on the show, wondering when the other vampire would make himself known. Manipulating the air around them, he forced the other vampire off of him with both his power and his strength. Then, he started pulling the oxygen away from Marie. Her vision was already blurred, but now she felt like she was grasping for air. Marie's vision flickered back and forth from black to the scene before her, and she tried to get up, but it was hard. .

Bradley kept his eyes on the other vampire, watching Marie out of the corner of his eye. "What must be done to make you stop hurting her? Kill you?" He seethed back, watching him without attacking for the moment. He advanced against him once again, driving him once more against the floor, except putting enough force on his head to send cracks up the marble surface of his face and the floor.

. Alexander flipped himself over, and then forced the young vampire to the ground, like he had to him. "Oh, My visits never last long, but I like to check in on my daughter.." It was finally too much for Marie, the lack of oxygen caused her to black out on the floor. . Once Marie had passed out, he stopped pulling the oxygen out of the air. "But, I'm sure my visits will be more frequent now, every father likes to keep an eye on their little girls..." He said before letting go of Bradley and making his leave without another word.

Bradley watched him go, his eyes locked on his back with a look of absolute hatred. Once he was fairly sure her father wasn't coming back, he made his way to Marie. Quickly he picked her up and brought her upstairs to her bedroom, where he lay her in her bed with the covers over most of her body. He backed up to the chair in the corner where he sat in silence, waiting for her to awaken. He never did relax however, always rearing to defend Marie.

After about half an hour, Marie started moving. Her head hurt terribly, and there was dried blood on her lip. Opening her eyes slowly, she attempted to sit up. Her head seemed to spin. "Ow..." She felt like crying. Why, everytime he came to visit, did he have to do something like that? .

Bradley flew from his seat to seemingly appear by her side. "Relax, my dear, you're safe now." He said in a soothing tone while softly encouraging her to lay back down. He placed a freezing hand on her forehead as he did so, recalling that she had hit the floor incredibly hard. In his state of focus, Brad didn't notice the blood on her lip. He had much more important things to worry about.

Once Marie heard his voice, she started noticing things. She was in her bed, not on the kitchen floor, and his hand was on her forehead. The temperature of his hand was soothing to her aching head. "You came back..." She said softly, absently holding his hand to her head. She didn't even recall bringing her hand up. .

Bradley nodded softly, keeping his hand on her head. "Yes, my dear, I did come back." He said softly, watching her. He dare not mention her father, as he just wanted to soothe her at the moment. If she didn't remember his duel with her father, then that was perfectly fine with him. "I'm not going to leave again, unless you want me to, okay?" He said, his now more golden eyes watching her face.

"Mmkay." Marie managed to say through the numbing pain. "Could you keep your hand on my head, it helps..." She trailed off, hand coming up to her lips, feeling something sticking there. "Oh my..." She said, realizing it was her blood dried there. She started trying to wipe it off. She was kinda out of it .

Bradley nodded with her request, but chuckled ever so slightly when she attempted to wipe the blood off her lip. He moved his open hand onto the one which was trying to wipe the blood off and moved it to her side. "Relax. Don't worry about it. You just took a digger." He explained softly, hoping not to anger her.

"Took a what?" Marie asked, slightly confused. Then, her stomach growled, that was why she went back down to the kitchen in the first place. "So hungry, but I don't think I can get up...." She said, attempting to throw her feet off the side of the bed and place them on the floor. .

"You took a fall." Bradley restated, realizing she wouldn't know the english word. When she attempted to stand up, he caught her feet with one hand and put them back on the bed. "Easy now. I'll make you something. What is it that you want?" He asked, fully knowing she was stubborn enough to want to do it herself, but also knowing he wouldn't allow her to do that.
