Rook bristled, his hand rolling into a fist.
"How long before they come charging up here?"

At the sound of gunfire, three things happened simultaneously. Maya spun and kicked Jeffrey in the hand, knocking the gun from his hands. Krieger took the hits and turned into his lizard form, hissing. And perhaps the most important, the people in the car began to run towards the apartment.

Fazed, but not stopped, Krieger drunkenly picked Jeffery up and slammed him into a wall, then held him there. "Next time, little man, I won't be ssso nisssse. You're lucky your friends are here." Releasing him, Krieger let Jeffrey fall to his feet. Maya kicked Krieger in the back, shouting at him. Confusion broke out as the mysterious third party crashed into the room, trying to find what was going on.

With a vile grin on his face, Krieger went to work, slaughtering the men as if they were just pieces of meat, which to him, they were.

((Ok, really now? I'm usually a good sport, but really now?
I didn't give Jeffery super speed when I made the character, which is why it's not in the profile. I'm assuming that if you had really wanted Maya to have super speed, you would have put it in her profile. The kicking it out of his hands is iffy. Possible, sure, but it's a big leap, that's only really made bad by the next part.
The Krieger not dying thing is acceptable, the rule is we can't kill each other unless we agree to it, but again, if you wanted to give him super speed, you had the chance. Turning him into his lizard form to survive the bullets? Completely ok. Assuming that my guy is now lifted against the wall by a terrifying lizard man with, and I quote, the powers of "can stick to walls, glide short distances on wings hidden in his armpits, and stop small calibur bullets." Is pushing it.

Not trying to be a d**k, but come on. Work with me here, you're character isn't spider man.))

((Decides that Arch is right, but felt a little miffed at being shot. After all, Krieger did not want to kill the kid. He has been through a lot. They ripped his f'ing arm off, just to ensure he cooperated with them. I admit that the whole gun thing was out of line, but just wanted to make sure I don't get shot again. Neither of my guys have super speed, but Krieger has a body regen thing, which is why he didn't die. Once again, though, sorry 'bout puppeting your dude.))
(((P.S. Can't glide anymore, cause one arm is ripped off. Geckos can stick to walls because they have hairs on their fingertips that do this mega-friction thing. He only sticks in lizard form though. And, scales do wonderful things when increased in size and mass, but I never said the bullets bounced off. He's bleeding from gunshot wounds, just not as long as a normal person.)))

"URK!!" Krieger's face became an almost comical death mask as his heart exploded. One of the bullets was pulled deeper into his body instead of being expelled, and lodged itself in his heart, causing a pressure buildup of lethality. He collapsed onto the floor, blood oozing out of his mouth.

Maya looked at Krieger for a moment before knocking the drunken teen unconscious. "Well...That's enough excitement for me today. Thanks though." she whispered in a shaky voice. She slowly sat down and wrapped her arms around her knees, chanting to herself in a foreign language.

Olivia followed Lou, trying her best to crouch as low as she could while running as fast as she could. The wooden railing piece was clenched tightly in one hand, while her other was being gripped by Lou, leading the way.

"...are you sanita-s**t!" tripping over air, probably, she fell to her knees, before scrambling back up again.
