nym rolled her eyes and used her head to speak I'll be fine, I am immortal after all. it's just dark opposite of light so it may take awhile. But no worries. I should live just paralyzed right now.

Ling's number one priority was to protect Nym and Cloud. She rushed over to them both and put them under a protective shield.

nym saw the sad look on clouds face 'don't you feel guilty! It's fine better than you being hit! If you were hit you'd be dead! nym yelled at cloud with her mind.

The man turned away and disappeared. Cloud's day was officially ruined. Not only did he not avenge his parent's death,but Nym was injured and had thoughts of leaving the world of light. He layed on the ground and covered his face. "I messed up...I messed up everything."

Ling saw the man walk away. She felt like screaming at him for causing so much pain and then leaving without a motive. She took out a liquid out of her bag and poured it onto Nym hoping it would relieve her pain and allow her to move. Ling looked at Cloud and said, "You know that man?"

now that the source of the spell was gone nym started to gain control of her movement and could speak "Yay! he is gone, crap he is still alive." nym said glad she could start moving pissed she had to fight him again eventually.

Cloud couldn't speak. He lay on the ground,breathing heavily out of pain and horror. All he could let out was a "Why?"

nym's movement came back rapidly after ling used the liquid. "Thanks!" nym said smiling glad to move again. She got up and took a bucket of water to the fire pit seeing as the party was obviously over.

Ling was relieved the Nym could move and speak now. She then turned her attention to Cloud. She tried to relieve his pain by giving him some of the liquid too. She tried to cut out the tension, " Nice house."

Cloud went to a chair and sat down by himself. He was officially depressed. "Ling,why are you here? Aren't you having dentistry lessons or whatever?"

Ling sighed, "Well, I figured I would give ya guys a visit since our teacher will be out for a week. He said something about a convention and him bringing back some Novocaine to work with."

"Oh. Well thanks for being here. We really needed you." Cloud looked down. He wasn't feeling good at all. He went upstairs alone to his room for the girls to talk.

Ling shook her head and smiled, "No thanks, I'm fine." She watched Cloud walk up the stairs Her smile went away. "Cloud, You still haven't explained who that man was. Why was he here?"

By the time Ling had asked her question,Cloud was already on his bed. He looked up at his ceiling and played his guitar.
