Rakuna felt around the collar gently. There were small bruises from when the collar had been yanked on, but no burns. "Hmm." He took out his cell and pressed a few buttons on it. The collar fell off.

Rakuna didn't answer him. Instead, he said,"I better go clean up. The floor's gotten dirty again." He left the room. He no longer felt a need to restrain Austin. When he saw how the collar hurt Austin, he felt bad. He wanted to be a good person to Austin. A friend. At least, that's what he told his conscience.

Austin started to cry as Rakuna left. He wanted him back. He wanted to be comforted again.

Rakuna froze outside the door. He could hear Austin crying. This worried him. He's crying! Is it because of me? He'll probably leave the first chance he gets. Without the coolar, there's nothing stopping him. And yet... He shook his head to clear his thoughts and re-entered the room. "Austin?" He called out quietly.

Rakuna stood there for a moment, before nodding and walking closer. He sat on the edge of the bed. "...I'm sorry. This is all my fault, isn't it? I understand if you want to leave this place and go back to your life." He looked at the floor. Seeing Austin's eyes, made his heart clench up for reasons he didn't understand.

"Eh? You...want me here?" He looked over his shoulder at Austin. "You don't... I thought you were scared of me. I thought...you hated me again..." Rakuna said all of this with disbelief in his voice for what Austin had said.

"...Alright. I'll stay." Then, shocking him self, he turned and held Austin. Comforting the younger man. "I'm...not going anywhere." And as he said those words, he felt them to be true.

Austin nodded and snuggled into Rakuna closing his eyes and smiled. He truly did love the man.

Rakuna moved further onto the bed so Austin would be a bit more comfortable. He absent-mindedly stroked Austin's hair as he thought. This is...going farther than what I planned. This kind of closeness is nothing like friendship. It's closer to skinship. It's... His hand paused. "..." He shook his head and went back to stroking Austin's hair. I'll confirm it later.

austin gently fell asleep, clutching on to rakuna and shivering lightly.
