Graham nodded in greeting to Jacqueline, and said "It's nice to meet you, I'm sure you'll be an asset to the team. Now not to seem rude, but lets cut the crap and find this a**h***. We've been delayed far too long. I took a picture of the stun darts and sent it in to command. I'm still waiting for a reply." Graham sighed as he once again took out the magazine with bullets and replaced it with tranquilizer rounds. He loaded his gun, armed it and put it back in his jacket. Then he followed the two out of the room.

Heero crossed his arms and snorted, finding her insults and threats amusing. "I doubt it'd be hard to kill them, even with this wound. They smelled of fear when I attacked. Pfft... Pathetic." He looked around, making sure no one was around. "I do know the layout, but what do I get out of helping you?" He closed his eyes for a moment before looking smugly at her. He wasn't doing all this as charity work.

Katie raised an eyebrow at him wanting some sort of payment. She hadn't thought of that.."We can work payment out later, though we don't really have too much to give at the moment.. But the longer we stay here, the sooner they will find us. I really don't feel like being cornered like a mouse.. It really doesn't feel right.." She shook her head at the thought. Time was truly not on their side, and this in itself made her feel like a small mouse about to be cornered.. She'd rather be on the other side her being the cat ready to pounce and have them be the mouse..

Riju caught a vague glimpse of a man hailing her and started to slow down and pull over. But the cars in front of her slowed, and Riju cursed at the delay. Obviously impatient, the man gave something to a figure at his feet - a young boy, Riju noticed, suddenly alert - and ran off into the shadows. Riju drummed her fingers on her steering wheel. "Come on, come on," she muttered at the cars ahead of her, casting glances at the boy on the street. Was he asleep? Unconscious? Dead? She had just made up her mind to honk at the damn traffic when the cars moved - maybe a light had turned green somewhere. Relieved, she pulled up to the boy - or rather, where the boy had been. What the hell? she thought, idling the car and getting out to make sure. The boy had been here, she knew that. She could see where he had been dropped in the snow. And she could see the footprints of the man that had been holding him. But there were no footprints to indicate where the boy had gone - just some scuffed-up snow. And he couldn't have gone onto the road, or somebody would have slammed on the brakes, Riju thought, leaning back against her taxi and running a hand through her hair. Or maybe he did? Maybe that's why they were going slow? No, I'd have seen him dart across, and traffic the other way was coming pretty steady. Riju growled and pulled her cap tighter over her head. Damn. I just can't figure this one out. Giving up, she stood to go back around to the driver's side. If the kid was well enough to run without leaving tracks - and there was no evidence he'd been kidnapped - she had to trust that he'd be okay. Riju shrugged and turned away when a patch of red caught her eye. Riju's tongue flickered involuntarily, trying to get a taste of the substance. Her eyes widened when she recognized the sharp tang of blood. Sprinkles of it led out of a nearby alley and down the street. As she watched, three figures came out of the hotel next door and went to the start of the blood-trail. One crouched, almost seeming to sniff the blood, then led the other two down the street. Riju stared after them for a moment, trying to get her brain to work. What the hell is going on here? she thought. Strange events were piling up one after the other... Getting back in her taxi, she drove a little ways down and parked, locking the cab securely. Even in this more upscale part of town, there were plenty of car thieves. She hesitated for a moment, fingering the cell phone in her pocket. Realistically, I should call the police, she told herself. This isn't my business. It shouldn't become my business. I have no interest in getting involved in a gang war. But... She remembered the way the figure had crouched, then followed the blood. Something about that pose, the smell-taste, had been so familiar... Riju took her hand out of her pocket and followed the trail herself. I have to know.

Basilisk lizards did not have as great of an ability to taste the air as snakes and other reptiles did, but the trail was remotely easy for Jacqueline to follow. She ran across the snow, quickly following the trail that the target and the two half-breeds had left behind. They had run down the street, but something had happened to the half-breed she had wounded that made his gash to bleed more for a minute. After that, the blood disappeared. But the footprints and the scent did not. They had to be close.

Terry took in what Graham, but did not respond. No time for chit chat, have to complete the mission, he reminded himself.
They walked for a while, and he noticed they were no longer following the trail of blood, but three sets of foot prints in the snow. He also noticed that they were being followed, even though the person was quite a bit behind them. "Hey, I think we're being followed. You guys go on ahead, I'll hold back and find out who or what is following us, and their motive," he announced. He then stepped off the path they were following, stepping off the path, stepping lightly enough that that his foot prints weren't all that visible. He hid behind some bushes, and waited for whoever it was that was following them to pass.

Where is she? I can't smell her... Colin thought angrily to himself. He had been tracking his mate, Katie. Though, she didn't quite know that she was his mate yet. But, she would when she finds out how great I can be and when I finally introduce myself. Colin thought eagerly as he finally caught her scent. He followed it, and before he knew it, she was right in front of him, with another guy. "K-" he began to say, before he realized that she still didn't know who he was. "K-Can I offer you some assistance? I'm like you guys and I know that I can get you out of here safely." Colin said, hoping with all of his being that Katie would accept his offer.

Katie glared slightly untrusting as she seemed to do with everyone she would meet at first. Though instead of refusing she said, "What are you wanting in return..?" She knew she was probably opening a can of worms since the other guy had wanted something in return for helping. She wanted to see if the two would underbid each other as they continued making distance from the hotel. The little kitten that she had adopted and had been holding, Snow, jumped out of her arms and into the new guy's and started purring..

Colin smiled as he held the kitten, it smelled slightly like Katie. "I don't want anything from you. I just think that if we travel together, it will be better." Colin smelled the air, sensing people following them. "I can definately help you, I know that much, but I need your answer now... the smell of our enemies are in the air." Colin held the small cat in his left arm and patted it's head with his right hand.

Katie could smell and sense the ones that had been trying to follow them as well. There wasn't really any time to decide, "Alright lead the way.." Snow then jumped ouf of Colin's arm and back into Katie's arms. Katie clutched the kitten gently yet firmly so that the kitten wouldn't be dropped and left behind. She looked at the other guy wondering if he was going to follow.. she somewhat hoped for it since he was injured and she was slightly determined to tend to his wound. She knew Scotty could keep pace pretty good even though he was 'just a human' so she wasn't too concerned about him..

"See ya." Colin gave a short wave to the other guy, Heero. "I'll get you out of trouble, Katie." Colin said to her. Wait- did she tell him her name yet? Did that matter at the moment? Colin shook his head and began to run off in the direction that was towards a church. Though, he knew that the others could easily follow them if they didn't use an alternative to the ground. Thinking ahead, he asked Katie hurriedly, "Can you climb?"

Katie looked at the guy for a moment, "Wait...How did you know my name.." She asked as she stepped slightly back.. beginning to think he may be the enemy. This was the last thing they needed.. But if it happened they would have to deal with it.. Scotty fainted from the cold since he had hardly anything on and was wet, Katie caught him and picked him up, rather surprisingly, "Scotty..!" She said, "Wake up..." She felt his face and noticed he was freezing.. there was no time to think about if there were traitors now.. "We need to go someplace warm.. He's not looking too good."
(((Sorry J_hawk.. did this so that your char wouldn't be caught.. n.n;;; when you post just say you wake up.. n.n;;;; )))

Czar
It's been awhile since I Used this weapon... Just in case, I have My Yo-Yos, My shoes, the SAC, and the Hover board V2 given by my father. Czar's thoughts began to run through his mind as he searched High and Low for that Katie and Scotty. Now I know the government's in this, and they pulled the wrong idea that they can mess with me. First they disabled the flight compatibilities of my old hover board, knocked me out using a sedative, and now this... I'm beginning to think something's wrong with the government, or maybe I'm messing with the wrong crowd. Ugh... and I though today's going to be a normal day... Czar Whizzed through a corner until he saw someone familiar, a girl wearing winter clothing, a person with an Black shirt, and an unknown person who looks like they could help them. Well... I found them, and they're near a church maybe I can help them. After all, what happened today, I'm pretty sure the gov't wants me dead. Czar landed in the corner close to them while whispering loud enough for them to hear. "Maybe I can help."
