Luna placed her other hand on top of his, having his hand in both of hers. "No matter what you have done, I will forgive you. I don't know what you did to make you think you failed, but I am the one who will forgive you." She rested her head on his shoulder and sighed. "To tell you the truth Xie, I knew you were coming. Well, not you per say, but I knew someone would come for me, and take me to my real home."

oddly soothed at her blind acceptance he studied her hands holding his, eyes half closed in thought. it was a while later before he stirred, carfully getting up and tugging Luna to her feet. " and so i will.. when you feel your ready."

Luna stood up and smiled softly. "And I'm ready now Xie, I'm ready." She pulled the coat off her shoulders and found it was getting warm in the church. She handed Hex his coat and started to pick up her stuff. Some how her tarot cards and runes were scattered about. She looked at them a while before stepping back quickly and started to study them more.

Hex hesitated, recoginzing that look. he hadnt spent life times with gypsys without learning a few things, after all. " what do they say?"

She looked up at Hex and then back at the cards and Runes. "I don't know. It has been a while since I've read them together." She studied them more before completely turning to Hex with a grim look. "My pain isn't over, and neither is yours. Something is going to happen Xie, and when it does it might cost us both our lives."

Josh let out a harsh pant, legs braced widely apart as his tongue lolled out of his mouth.. ears drooping forward as his sides heaved. he had fallowed the strange scent alright.. right to the tunnel's exit near the church, and found three of the phantom wolves attacking a human man. the Dire code was protection, and Josh couldnt just leave him.. so he had charged into the fray. huffing again he looked at the mangled wolf corpses, a small snarl curling his lips with distaste. they had gotten a few good bites in too.. but in truth Josh was shocked at his own sucess. instinct had taken over and, to both his and the wolves shock, he had beaten them in his dog form. shaking the gore from his short fur he limped to the human, noseing his cheek to insure he was ok. he had attempted to fight, getting knocked into the wall and passing out from the head slam.. but at least he was alive.

A gray and white wolf appeared next to him, growling before sniffing him to ensure that he was ok. Seemingly satisfied the wolf became Kiya with her arms crossed, and she was not happy. Not at the sight of the wolves not matter his reasons, not at the human on the ground even though they were alive, and not at the sounds of his harsh breathing. Especially not in a church. "Are you MAD, Josh?" While impressive that he had done this, he was still a pup. He wasn't supposed to be doing things like killing just yet, he was supposed to be learning control. And this...was not controlled.

Taking a breath he shifted to human form, wavering on his feet before he met her gaze. Kiya was the best known hunter in the pack, respected by even the alpha for her skill.. but he was not going to cower for what had happened. Better her anger, than the humans death. " He would have died, and he saw nothing. just a dog comeing to his aid." the wounds had healed, but his lack of energy was very apparent as he pushed a shaking hand through his hair. " i will accept my punishment from Aruri, but not you Kiya." his magic, erratic at the stress of the fight, flared.. Josh droping to his knees and doubling over until his forhead was pressed against the ground.. pain and fatigue racking him. he was going to be a Beta wolf, his build and power already giving that much away.. but Beta's were known to need safe enviroments until they came of age.. if they didnt have that, their magic could turn on them. and Josh was very close to comeing of age..

Kiya, seeing what was happening even though she was still angry, wrapped an arm around his waist as he doubled over. His magic slid off of her even in human form, but it wasn't good that he couldn't control it. And she couldn't get him back before it hurt him more. Cursing she lifted him up, he was light despite his build and her size, and carried him to one of the pews so he was laying down. "Deep breaths, pup. It'll fade soon." The adrenaline had to leave his system first, but at least he would recognize that he was safe. A hunter she may be, but she wasn't about to let anything happen to him.

slowly his panting turned in gulps of air, his thin form shaking more from fatigue than the built up power now. putting his head between his knees he swallowed, still feeling queasy as he grunted. " this.. Sucks.." the only person unaware of his future placement, was Josh himself.. he never noticed that other pups didnt have the same restraints that he did. when at last he regained a bit of control over his stomach he brached his arms on his knees, head hanging as he passed from 'sick' into the 'tired' stage. " i really wish that would stop happening.. it will stop, right? when i hit adult hood?" when Dire wolves hit adult hood their bodies shifted, quiet suddenly, to their adult form.. a violent change from their teen bodies. males bulked up, females curved out.. and their power was firmly under wraps.

She nodded at that and sat by him, wrapping an arm around his shoulders and pulling him close so she was holding him, rubbing his back. She hadn't been born a Dire, but she had been around long enough to see how the pups changed. No one knew her true age, just as no one knew Aruri's. They just knew their positions. "It'll come. Don't worry about it. It'll be under control." In truth, she wasn't really sure about Josh's case. Beta's normally fought their way up, but it had been known since he was born that he would be a Beta. She didn't know much else to tell him, except he needed to learn more control. Or his magic would make his transition worse. And that worried her. "I don't know why you're so eager to be grown, I think this form is pretty cute. In the 'You're so adorable' sense, but cute nonetheless."

" oh haha. when im grown i wont have to put up with that." laughing he shook his head, starting to stand as a wash board of magic slamed through him. it was his own magic starting the change, driving him to his hands and knees as he screamed.. the sound droping octives as his body started to contort.. expanding and bulking up. the voice that screamed this time was purely male, Josh droping his head as his hair turned white. it felt like hell fire.. worse than his first shift as a kid. blinking blurily he studied the large hands on the floor, not realizing they were his own as his spine cracked and lengthoned.. his shoulders snaping back as muscle formed under his skin.
The process took almost a hour, the result.. a man resting on his ands and knees, white hair and a large frame panting. his head was forward, hiding his face from view as he tried to breath.

When he screamed she moved to grab him, only to have to force herself back when she felt the magic in the air. It wouldn't hurt her, but it was eerie and disconcerting nonetheless. For the next hour she watched wide eyed, wishing she could help him somehow. But when the magic had finally left the room she still hesitated to move. He was big, bigger than any of the other transformations she had witnessed. She hadn't been there for Slaav's. Pulling herself together she knelt down by him, wrapping herself around him. He was fully capable of protecting himself, he always had been. But not after going through a transition like his. Not while on his hands and knees struggling like there was no oxygen in the room. To tell the truth that was how she felt at the moment, but he didn't need to know that. "Deep breaths, Josh. Deep breaths, and try to relax." Aruri is going to kill me if anything happens to him she thought. And this time, she had a feeling she was right, but at the moment she didn't worry. She would die to protect the Beta if need be.

obeying he focused on breathing in, then out.. slowly becomeing distracted by scents and sounds he hadnt heard before. unlocking his stiff muscles he twisted to the side slowly, sitting down and studying her with light hazel eyes.. and attempting to make her laugh as he fought off the virtigo feeling. " you.. got small."

She smiled at the jest and studied his face, very carefully holding his chin to examine him. "And you...got big. And...buff." Buff was right. He was much bigger than her now, even a few inches taller than her. "How about taking it easy for a few more minutes, muscle man? I don't need you falling over when I eventually get you back to the Castle." They weren't going anywhere for awhile at this rate, but they would within the next day and a half. She didn't know how much recovery time he needed because of his magic. "How much do you think you can lift, now?"
