'Still..." Medusa lay back on the rock, staring up at the sky as the rain soaked her to the bone. 'It doesn't really matter does it...Kimi-chan listens to you more than you think Xenon-sama...you'll be able to convince her.' she smiled to herself. Xenon was not a leader of men, he'd no desire to control or command vast leigons of followers, but he could still read people, still get inside their heads and influence them. Just as he'd done with her, he could inspire loyalty in those who like him, stood in the gray area of morality.
And Kimi-chan... Medusa snickered. Kimi-chan wasn't as pure as she liked to think she was, Medusa could smell it. Kimiko Momoe was a kindred spirit whether she admitted it or not. "Ku ku ku..."
"What are you snickering at?" Xenon inquired back to focusing on the jutsu.
"Oh nothing...int's just that...humans are such interesting creatures."
"You'll here no argument on the matter from me."

Xenon took a deep breath as the chakra that was still flowing through his every pore continued to build, Medusa actually examinging him closely for the first time since she was summoned. "What are you up to anyway?" She inquired adjusting her hood slightly. "That's an aweful lot of power you're working with."
Xenon slowly moved his arm, a thin trail of trickling energy occasionally flickering outwards into the air. "Yes...I'm attempting to master a particularly potent Jutsu...Perhaps you've heard of the Dragon bullet?"
Medusa's eyes lit up with recognition. "Oh! Is that hat you're doing?" she looked at the lightning surging about him with more interest now. "I've heard about the Dragon bullet of course...but I didn't know that lightning had a form of it...isn't it difficult to focus such intense energy so precisely? It must take an incredible amount of Chakra..."
"You're not wrong." Xenon confirmed, a surge of electricity tracing it's way along his chest.

Medusa brought her knees up unto the rock she sat upon, hugging her legs as she continued to watch him passively. "How close are you too mastering it?"
Xenon's face still seemed so calm. "I'm not sure exactly...perhaps...half way through the process? My control makes the other stages of learning it simpler...right now it's merely a matter of building up the proper charge."
Medusa nodded. "I see..." she looked up towards the stormy sky. "Hm...what time is it here in the human world? It's always so hard to tell without the sun..." the storm clouds which had moved in soley about the mountains peak had restricted the sun light, while she didn't want to spoil her master's training, she hoped this gale would lift soon. While she didn't mind water, she didn't really like being cold...at all.

the thunder rolled across the sky yet again. It seemed that this particular storm had fully settled upon the mountain, caught here by the summit's low pressure. The storm would meet it's end upon this mountain, before it ever descended into the valley of Otogakure below, the mountain protecting the village from intense weather as it had for many years.
A shame Xenon thought, that the mountain could do little to save it from enemies of other sorts...still, he supposed that's what it's Shinobi were for...he merely hoped that they would be able to measure up to the mountain in enduring tenacity...for indeed the dying storm around him might not be nearly as fierce as the danger his instincts told him were on the way.

Some part of him merely wished he was being paranoid...so part of him wished that he was just imagining things. But even that part of him, despite it's wishes, knew better then to doubt this sense of foreboding, knew better then the question the same instincts that had led him this far. He closed his eyes as he tried to recall the last time he was truly pushed to the limits of his power.
The fight with Kimiko. He smiled slightly. That was encouraging. Someone that would be on his side. Even so... he opened his eyes. Though he was much stronger since then, there were still opponents out there like Kyojin Kotei...opponents that if he relented even for a second, could prove the victor. Kyojin had been the only true foe to nearly defeat him, to truly match him blow for blow so closely, that Xenon truly didn't know if he would win until the final moment.
The only one before that had been the Psychotic weapon 3...but Xenon had far outgrown that sad creature. Were he to fight the thing now, as it had been, now, twice as strong as it had been, it would be a very short confrontation indeed.

There were times he wondered what had become of it. He knew that it had been handed over to the custody of medical professionals, hoping they might be able to sooth the madness that plagued him, but Xenon himself couldn't help but think it would have been better if he had ended the creature back then in that cave when he'd had the chance.
Still... there was no point in dwelling on such things, Kimiko had swayed him from doing so, and he'd let the thing live...what became of that was yet to be seen, but he did note that Kimiko's acts of kindness did have...curious effects on the fate of those on the receiving end...
At any rate, he'd finished building the charge. The lightning was once more overflowing from his figure, thick volts barely missing the rather unflinching Medusa. As a being brought into this world by his chakra, she'd nothing to fear from it in this raw unchanneled form. He was ready to move on to the next stage....

Fired a large bolt of lightning into the sky, it's head churning and taking the shape of a dragon. "Hm...niot bad...that wasn't nearly a perfected form...and not close to full power...but it wasn't bad."
Medusa was clapping with a slightly bemused expression. "I'll say, I wouldn't want to be on the wrong end of it."
Xenon's smile curved slightly he gave a light laugh, once more gathering his chakra. He was actually fairly certain he was good to go with this stage, he didn't forsee any problems as it was. The more difficult phase after growing accustomed to the technique would be fully initializing the tech, combining the elements of control and power. Still, he'd give it a few more test shots just to be safe. Despite his already impressive work load for the day, he had plenty of chakra to burn.

Xenon's eyes trace the heavens as he fired another shot, the dragon of lightning coursing through the storm above. He was still slightly off center, but that was nothing that he couldn't work out through a few more adjustments. Yes this phase of the training was essentially just padding...padding for the real task to come.
Medusa kicked her feet like a child on a swing as sat upon the rock, her eyes fixed on the storm above as she occasionally cast looks at her master to see if he was making progress. She wasn't really bored per say. She was with Xenon and that was a thousand times more interesting then being back in the Spirit world any day, but she did much prefer it when he could actually pay attention to her rather then work on some jutsu. While she admired his power, him actually working on it took time away from spending it with him...a conundrum.

Xenon fired yet another blast of lightening into the churning clouds, his eyes intense despite the smooth nature of his voice. "Certainly...was there anything you had your heart set on?"
"Nothing in particular. It's just after being in Spirit World and having to go back to...lesser cuisine, I'm in the mood for a more human concocted spread. After all, the Bird's taste in food is one thing about him that isn't addled. Human food is merely superior." she rubbed her fingers together as she examined them. "Though personally I elude that to your acute senses...honesty I really can't describe to you the difference in taste and touch...it's like I have but pale shadows of the senses in my snake form."

Xenon's hands still clasped in the hand sign, his mouth opened again the sphere of lightning before it fired yet another thunderous dragon towards the stratosphere. "I suppose it really must be strange having two bodies with sense designed for different things...isn't it odd to you not being able to smell with your tongue?"
Medusa laughed. "It was at first, but I'd been expecting it. Never could you prepare someone for the shear difference in sensations only one of your human fingers receives. everything is so intense and vibrant, your eyes see so many more colors...it's really no wonder you humans are so prone to the vices of the flesh...your flesh itself can feel so much more, taste so much more. You are more interested in the arts because you can interpret them so much more acutely..." she smirked. "Truth be told with the added bonus of opposable thumbs and warm blood, I much prefer being human to being in my true form."

"Consider it done." Medusa said mirroring the emotion. She raised her hand and began to manipulate the rain gathering in a puddle near her feet, bringing it up to eye level with her chakra. "I suppose water doesn't get along well with fire under the best of circumstances...

Medusa looked at the boy somewhat quizzically. "Hm? What do you mean?"
Xenon discharged another blast of lightning into the heavens, as though he was some-kind of warrior for the mountain itself, fighting back against the storm above in kind. "The regular people of the world are afraid of ninja. The only reason they are not united against us is because we ourselves are divided. In a way...we Ninja battle one another for our own survival...

Medusa dawned her disturbing smirk. "Oh? But if such a war were to happen...if those weaklings were to unite against Ninja...then what would you do Xenon-sama?"
Xenon gave a laugh. "Are you expecting me to say that I would destroy the normal humans to bring peace?" he chuckled. "That wouldn't bring peace...no..." he fired another lightning blast into the sky, the dragon like attack twisting and writhing as it broke the clouds. "In such a situation it's true I would be forced to act for my own good, but I would not side with either the ninja or the humans."
Medusa seemed eager now, sitting on the edge of the rock as she listened to him. "What then? You would serve as your own power?"
"No." Xenon corrected. "The other players couldn't see me on the board or it would defeat the purpose. I would merely divide the powers that be, weaken them both by causing civil strife and division amongs them, until they were once more broken down into multiple factions once more. With internal war, small little strife's between multiple factions, war on a wide scale is unnecessary." he shrugged. "People dream of a world of peace, but what they don't seem to grasp is that though war still persists is in this system...it's better then the alternative."

"Yet trying the latter is really a fools game...you will always be considered evil...the very concept of morals is ambiguous, not matter what Kimiko or Raine would have us believe...so in the end..."
"The only solution is to follow ones own heart...one's own will, one's own strength."
Xenon smiled. "Exactly. Even if that will should tell you to follow another's will...there is something to be admired in that."
Medusa looked pleased once more. "Indeed."
