Carefully, Alex took Kirin's hand, making sure that he picked up his own weight.
"Thanks, Kirin." He laughed, embarrassed. "Sorry...nah, I'm fine. Used to falls. I rock climb, you see. I'm used to it. I'm just wondering as to WHY that wall is there if it's not meant to seperate the schools..." He looked around, noticing the dissaproving looks of the Angels. "Oh, take no notice. I am used to such glares from Angels and Demons. But not from you." He smiled, secretly delighted that someone-somebodies!-wanted to do something in his favor...

Marta noticed the strange look she was getting from Seisai, and gave a tiny smile. "Ah'll be stayin' down he'ah. Thank ya owll th' same." With that, Marta turned and headed back inside. People - Angels, demons, and humans alike - made her uncomfortable. It was better if she just avoided them.

((i'm getting blind, i forget or maybe jump some parts in the posts you all make D: anywhoo...))
Chi also nodded in agreement with Alex. I'll take note of this so I could tell the Office about this, she thought. Then she looked at the wall again. It felt like just magic. It's like, it wasn't really put there by the people that made the cafeteria. "Weird." Chi said, poking her finger through and out of the wall.
Seisai was already in her ready-for-flight stand, but then Martha just headed back inside. She stood up, and thought, what happened? Did we offend her? she made a confused look.
((how is everyone?))
((i just wanted to ask this.. i feel bored. ;_; ))

Alex smiled at Kirin's passive view of life-a luxury to those who could live long enough to afford it.
"Perhaps...I'm not entirely sure if that is the exact WAY of the school, but perhaps you are right...I don't quite like it, but then I'm the only human I've seen in this entire school." He smiled. At least Kirin was kind, and Chi was sweet and moralistic enough.

Chi just realized what Alex just said. The only human in a school made for angels and demons... Wow. she thought. "Hey Alex," she asked, "what's it like to be human?" she felt that Alex would be confused or curious why she asked that question, so Chi added, "Just curious."

Alex smiled at Chi. Now, THAT was a question he rarely heard. What was it like for a bloodhound to be a bloodhound. He said as much.
"Well, what, all such existence condensed into a short blurb?" He asked jokingly. "What precisely do you mean? I mean, it's IMPOSSIBLE for me to explain it all at once, so what facet of human existence are you interested in?" He leaned against a wall. "I guess it's...fast, a lot of the time...please do clarify-I'm not really good at these philisophical questions..."

Chi said, putting her hands in the pockets of her cream colored dress, "I'm an angel, and I never felt how to be a human, even if I was sent here and to act like human - and it ain't easy to act like one." she made a face, remembering her first year in the human world. She'd screw up a bit, then she found Terra High and she was openly accepted here. "So it's like this... Uh, I know it's hard to be any other race, but what's the feeling like? Does it feel like you're always running away from something, or maybe you have a reason to be here, something like that." she looked at Alex, hoping he wouldn't be that confused. That was the reason why she screwed up back then. "Uh, it's okay if you don't want to answer, if you're getting confused now. I'm really sorry." Chi said. It was a sweat drop moment for her.
Seisai went to the booths in the cafeteria while hiding her wings again. She saw the 'Great Wall' that separates Angels from Demons, but then she noticed there were people who were poking it and it only looked like a magic curtain, some kind of camouflage. "Gosh, people and discrimination. Ugh." she murmured to herself. She took some random food; she wasn't like Chi who was very picky. After all, she was her opposite. She sat near the wall, and looked through to see if Chi was there. She saw her talking to a guy that looked human, and she also saw a familiar face. Hm, dark long hair, black clothes, violet eyes... Yep, that's him alright. she thought to herself.

We always live, at some point, in fear or expectation of death. Some of us...don't truly treasure life, and they're only remembered for the THINGS they did or made, and not for who they were. Still others die young, making others bitter with life and thus not appreciate it. Me? Well...being a human means having to keep a balance. Angels and Demons can do what they please: love who they like, eat what they please, be lazy, whatever, and they won't have to worry about the consequences. Oh, Angels have to be good, but only the ones on Earth have to be Paragons of virtue. Honestly, I believe that sin is merely what is in every human's heart: not a "gift" from the Devil. Satan doesn't have any real power. Human intention to do wrong does. Demons can do whatever they like, and ALWAYS be desirable to Humans...as can Angels. The fairest creatures of this earth are Angels, Demons, and half-breeds of the two. You see? Life for a human is a burdensome one. Ever do we have to watch out for what will harm our children...." He drew off. Then he laughed self-consciously. "Sorry...that was probably more than you wanted to hear..."

"No, no it's okay. I was expecting that you would say a lot." Chi said, repeating everything that Alex said in her mind. A life of a human is a burdensome one. Whoa, that's gonna be hard. Really hard... she thought for a moment, thinking back, when she was still new in the human world. She met a few people back then, whom she forgot their names, but it wasn't important in that moment. They would sometimes talk about how hard it is to live their lives for now, and sometimes they think, 'what am I doing here?' and Chi would just listen to them, talking and talking. At first she didn't understand that, but now she knew. "Thanks for the info. Now I have an idea about that." she said, "actually, you all have your own purpose, in my belief. No one was made to be nothing; that's impossible. It's like, wasting resources when you make something or someone for nothing. The Creator would not do that, no no." she shook her head, thinking about what she said.
