Selce straightened her new set of shimmering robes. She had bought the robes, she needed a new set since the old ones had bit of 'prison' on them from her capture. She laughed and skipped down the road away from the shop to the Inn. She went to her room and pulled out her books and studied them carefully, placing the incantations and gestures into her mind. After she had memorized the spells she went to sleep.

Erron awakens and yawns, having slept well through the night. He gathered his belongings and left the Inn after a hearty breakfast of scrambled eggs with onion and fresh bread. He asked the serving girl to inform his friends that he had gone ahead to meet the caravan and would be waiting for them there.

Selce woke up and stared down at the shimmering robes. She hadn't undressed for bed so she would be ready earlier. Selce wiped some of the sleep from her eyes and went downstairs for a breakfast of cold but still fresh bread, and eggs. As the serving girl had turned to leave she whirled back around and told her what Erron had said. Selce left a note under Prometheus's door to tell him she had left. She walked out the door a moment afterward as she reveled in the early sun light as it played about on her face.

Like so many towns he had been in before, Tjaden set foot on the docks and headed straight for the town gates. From there, it had been only a few conversations before he found honest work with a caravan. It wasn't hard for an orc to find working toting luggage and heaving bundles onto wagons, not when you were 6'10" and built like an ox. But for Tjaden, for a Knight of the Serpent Clan, to have been brought so low as to brush shoulders with common labourers, it stung his pride in a way that only a sword and a suit of armour could heal.

Tjaden paused in his work, lifting the heaviest containers as the strong arms of the caravan loaded the wares. The waterskin was passed around and Tjaden made sure to offer it to his colleagues first, before taking any himself. His long brown hair whipped wistfully in the wind as his brown eyes scanned the town...just another town...but Haven...oh in Haven things would be different. At least thats what he hoped.

Another swig from the waterskin and he was off hauling containers again. The whole time, however, his hands ached for the grip of a sword, his arm growled for the brace of a shield and his shoulders begged for the weight of armour. THe whole time, the spirit of the warrior, the pride of a Knight, wrestled against the mind-numbing work with which he earned his passage on the caravan.

Erron arrived at where the caravan was waiting and loaded his bag, the merchant said that they were almost ready to go they just had to load up the rest of the goods, not wanting to be delayed any more, Erron goes to the wagon that is being loaded and standing beside the large Orc, began to help out.

Erron regarded the man with curiosity: He had not seen many Orcs besides the one as they were escaping the tower and though he knew they had several settlements in the eastern lands, they were uncommon in the western lands due to their tribal social system. As he pushed bags of food and lifted boxes of goods into the caravan he couldn't help but want to break the silence.

"Greetings, my name is Erron, If you don't mind me asking, are you headed for Haven as well?"

Prometheus, standing with the group, found it polite for himi to introduce himself first, seeing as there was another elf again.

"Greetings, I am Prometheus," He said with a slight bow.

Selce stared at the elf's back. "Most elves seem to have a lack of manners that I find to be most maddening." Selce said curtly as she hooked a thumb back at Laren and raised an eyebrow in question.

Selce spun around and hurried after the girl's fast stride. "Are you coming or not Ronus, Prometheus?" She hollered over a shoulder.

"Nay, lass," the dwarven cleric said abruptly,"I'll be returnin' ta me home. I received a disturbin' message recently from me clan. They be needin' mah help and I'll not be denyin' em that, particularly durin' their time o' need."

The dwarf sighed and looked to the two remaining members of the party.

"I wish ye all well in yer travels, an' whack that damned evil wizard once fer me. I'da liked ta slam me 'ammer inta his skull, but I guess that's not 'appenin. Farewell ta all o' ye."

With that, the dwarf made his departure and left the others to go about their business. They then made their way to the caravan, even dragging Prometheus' slow arse to get there.
