DND is midway adjustable, since you need more XP to reach each level. Plus there's always the DM having a finger in it.

Whereas oblivion is the sameway for all monsters, aside from unique ones, whereas D&D does, depending on the DM, take into factor the case by case scenario. Such as killing a gnoll= T exp. whereas killing a group of gnolls= T exp. +exp. for killing a group (again depending on each gnoll and your DM). But I digress from my original intent of this post, I still would believe it easier if we went with static...

Personally, a modernized setting would be cool. I mean, aliens, zombies, dwarves, orcs, dragon-people,vampires, and other things like that would be awesome. Guns and swords, and bows. Just like a time-warp or something on the entire thing. That would be cool. But these are just my thoughts on the settings. If this thing ever gets started, I want to help build the ability trees. But not experience system. That seems a bit hard to me.

So, I assume we are going with a static exp. systtem that is divided into categories, is spent in different amounts to get certain skills with higher level ones requiring larger amounts of different skill exp., so should we next move to cultures?...

Ha ha! I can do cultures. That will be cool. And I didn't know. I didn't want to read *goes back and counts* fifteen pages of stuff. skills cost exp. But you have to get lower forms of the skills before you can get later ones. That's how I think it should be.

Yes that is the skeleton of the concept we are using. You will have to read the pages on races if you plan to assist in designing the cultures...

human, elven, dwarf/gnome are the races right?(He also said something about undead and reptilian things too...) That is what Cronos said on pg. 4. And religion. Has that already been decided on? Or is there other things needed to be decided on about the religion thing. I personally consider religion and culture to be intertwined, so...

Religion's only been passingly mentioned. We mostly decided a polythesic system and that's all, if I remember right.
I don't really care myself too much, so you guys go crazy on that aspect, as long as the god of love is a hermaphrodite.

Yeah the races are as you stated, plus hybrid naga people and various undead. The religion is going to be open polytheistic (new gods can ascend). Feel free to go with any hermaphroditic love deity if you want but I have claim on the god of death/undeath...

hermaphrodidic love god(dess), okies. then i am assuming you are going for the traditional case of the love diety also being the lust/sexuality deity? i was personally hoping to avoid that cliche. xd
yeah, polytheistic, with ascension possible, and a dualistic Creation Mythology, involving Chaotic twin deities of Creation and Destruction. 3nodding they represent the Uber Gods, who are completely apathetic towards the world's inhabitants, but who's battle represents the balance of Nature and the Multiverse.
races were BASICALLY Humans, Elves, Dwarves, Nagas and Undead; but those had subraces, like Gnomes, Dark Elves, Sidhe, various types of Humans, and so on.

Thank you for expounding upon that Romanov, my memory is a bit hazy. Especially since I'm watching House and there is a drunken priest hallucinating Jesus... Trippy... In regards to lust and love being different deities, I do believe that should occur since lust is more a lack of will and a collapse towards "evil" in the form of random sex...
Or am I wrong...
heart House heart ...
