Did you beat Sephiroth? He was too easy in KH2...

I was going to buy Kingdom Hearts 2.... But then when I finally decided to the stupid store didn't have it. Circuit City. First time it's ever let me down. D:

I bought:

Zelda: Majora's Mask
Dynasty Warriors: Extreme Legends

And I also bought that Final Fantasy movie, Advent Children, even though I've never played FFVII. Maybe not the smoothest move, but I never played Kingdom Hearts either but I was getting ready to buy KH2. I never do that but this week I decided to do so twice.

This will sound strange, but I didn't really like KH. It had solid gameplay, which is my main objective when searching for a good game. But then came the plot, which...lacked...in some...places. And then there were of course the Disney characters (WHY DID THEY LEAVE YOU OUT ROBIN HOOD? WHY!?!), which gave the game a puerile feel. It tried to take itself too seriously. Later in the game it got better, but then it became somewhat repetitive.

And the main character wasn't very identifiable. But maybe I'm being too picky. I thought that it was trying to hard to be liked. Action RPGs are my favorite genre, but now they've been on a downward slope.

But Chain of Memories was good for a GBA game.

Oh, and I'd like to talk about Call of Duty 2. Who here plays CoD? let me say that it SUCKS. As far as weaponry details, it is horribly historically innacurate. Really. It almost made me cry.

I played it, but I was just playing for kicks, not for the historical accuracy. I decided that when I found the first one to be historically inacurate, that I would only play it for kicks not to see how close they got it.

I like Call of Duty 2: Big Red One....

But that's probably because it's the first gun game that I've bought.

My mom doesn't let me get games rated M, so finding a gun game has been bad for me. I suck at the game, I guess that I'm just better suited for swords, but I probably just have to get used to it. So far I'm the best as a sniper-type character, but something tells me that that's how it is for everyone.

Yeah. Maybe My expectations were a bit high. The single-player campaigns are all right for me, but it's the multiplayer that....ugh. I won't gt started on the problems with most multiplayer first-person shooters. Ah, well.

Oh yeah. Speaking of FPSs, there's a new one coming out that looks, well, spectacular. Check out the new futuristic Battlefield game, who's name eludes me.

I was finally able to beat Final Fantasy X! s**t.

It's taken me so long to beat the game because: The first time I played I just rushed and didn't bother to level up (that's what I used to do. Never really occured to me that that was a horrible idea) and I got stuck for a month so I restarted the game. Then I wanted to get the Al Behd Books and the hidden Aeons, so I restarted again. Then when I was JUST about to beat the final boss, my dog, Flo, went ahead and made my copy 'disappear' (The menu and game disk were together, and when I left and came back my dog was eating the menu and the disk was no where in sight. I never found the game again.) so I had to wait for about three months until I found a store that had the stupid game. And last night, I finally beat it.

It's funny, because before, I'd been struggling to beat Sin. But then when I bought the game again, I spent two days just running around and leveling up and I was also able to get the Magus Sisters. I fought against Sin again, it was so easy I was shocked. I used three Aeons against Sin and that was all it took for me to win. Very sad, but awesome.

Oh! And I saw a preview for the new Final Fantasy game that's coming out on the PlayStation 3. I have to tell you, the graphics look absolutely incredible.

Meh. My favorite games are:

Kingdom Hearts (1 and 2)
Musashi: Samurai Legend
Star Ocean: 'Till the End of Time (still haven't beat it...)
Okage: Shadow King
(What is with all the colons...?)
and, finally,
Seven Samurai 20XX

Note that in all of the above, the main character usually weilds some kind of blade-type weapon. Go figure.

on the topic of 'gun' games, there are a couple that I'm not sure whether to call FPSs. namely Descent 3, and Freespace (1, 2)
Descent 3:
For:
-swappable primary, secondary weapons
-first-person POV
-weapon pick-ups
-lateral strafing
Against:
-???

Freespace:
For:
-First-person pov
-swappable primary, secondary weapons
Against:
-free-flying
-???

they are both flying games, but Freespace has no ground. (open space)

I'm terrible at favorites. So, I'm just going to ask if anyone has played a certain game...

Has anyone played, Dream Fall: The Longest Journey? It's for Xbox, and is very... odd. It'd make a much better movie. xd

"Personally, I ADORE the Zelda games. I have been playing them ever sense I was a little girl. (My older brother was always a huge gamer, so of course I wanted to copy him.)

I do have a question though, if anyone can help me. I was playing Zelda: Windwaker on Gamecube a few months back and I seemed to have accidently misplaced Makar, the little tree kid that helps you into the.....I believe the Earth Temple....or maybe the Wind....one or the other.....but...er....where exactly can I find him? The Deku Tree refuses to talk to me now because of it..."
