Ari watched Oslo for a moment as they walked. "Don't exhaust yourself to death with work Oslo. I know you have a tendency to forget that every now and then it's okay for a little rnr", She said. Ari looked up a bit as they walked towards the the park, watching stars twinkling in the distance, coupled with her movements it almost looked as if the stars were skipping around each other. "That would be a good cure for my problem..", She said in reference to his idea to choose a partner form the cursed youth. It was the second part of his proposal that caught her pleasantly off guard. "I would like having you as my partner Oslo. Thank you.", She said. Ari grinned widely and bumped her shoulder into his lightly. "As long as you can stand having me as a teacher, I think you'll have fun", Ari added. Her orchid colored eyes glittered with happiness and appreciation at Oslo's offer to be her dancing partner. Now that she had a chance Ari was going to put every ounce of talent she had into winning, not for money, not even for the prestige really, but just because she could!

"I can show you the different couple dancing styles, my favorite's are the tango and viennese waltz", She said. Arielle had lots of music to practice to, and it would be nice to actually spend time actually getting to know one of the cursed, since she wasn't very close to any of them. Angie was the closest one she had to a friend out of all of them. "Oh! There she is!", Just as Ari's thoughts had turned to Angie she'd realized they were at the park. Angie was sitting on the swings talking to Yoshi. "Angie! Look who I kidnapped!", She called brightly.

Oslo merely sighed quietly in response to Ari's concern. These types of comments he faced often from people in his age group, and he understood the worry easily enough. It was just too difficult to explain to them that he was needed, that he enjoyed his work, and that it was rewarding in every sense. No matter how much he tried to explain that this lifestyle worked for him, people with fewer responsibilities always laid their uncertainties upon his shoulders. He'd learned with time that it was simply best to guide the conversation in another direction with gentle and reassuring comments. Fortunately, there was no need as the topic swiftly returned to the upcoming dance competition.

He gave a small bow of his head. "You're very welcome. Now, have you chosen a specific dance and song for this competition or are you wanting to--" During their walk, it seemed he had gotten caught up in the conversation and his multitudinous thoughts to notice that they had indeed arrived. Thus, he had been interrupted by Ari's exclamation at their alighting upon the playground.

Immediately, Oslo's attention habitually veered from Ari to the pair of accursed teenagers before them and he offered a polite smile for the mare and ram. "It's been a whole week, Angie-- Yoshi. Surely you two have stories to tell this weary traveler," he offered. Courtesy and niceties all around.

[Noel The Rooster]

Noel Had slunk off to hide in her room for an hour or two. She still wore Chris’s clothes but she didn’t care what she looked like. Appearance didn’t matter to her. Sure she liked looking nice, who didn’t but she didn’t mind looking frumpy either. Noel didn’t normally spend any extra time on her look, she wore no make up, and all of her clothes where brought for her by others or taken when needed.

In her room Noel felt safer, and less depressed. She flopped down onto her bed and closed her eyes. She took off her glasses and placed them on the bedside table. Quickly she grabbed a pillow and covered her face with it so that she would to be able to see the light streaming though her open window. She smelled the sweet sent of her own conditioner on the pillow over her face and relaxed. Lavender was her favorite sent. It was the one thing that she really wanted to do for herself. She had the bad habit of using expensive soaps. Well not really expensive, but not the cheapest, it was the one way she regularly rewarded herself.

Angie looked up when she heard her name called. Her face lit up when she saw Ari and Oslo. Without a second thought, she leaped from the swing and ran over to meet them. She stopped at a moment's notice just a couple of feet in front of them. "I can't believe I didn't see you coming. Oh well, must not have been paying attention." She explained with a smile.

She directed her attention to Oslo's question. "This week..hmm, I went on an interview to get a job at the museum, but I'm not too sure I'll get it...Oh, and I'm considering waiting a semester before starting college. That way I can travel a bit. I just have to tell my grandparents, they are set on me going to college." She said, for it was true, but Angie had wanted to travel for as long as she could remember. There was so much out there, but she was worried that because of the curse, she would be a bit restricted as to what she could do.

When Angie leapt from her swing, leaving Yoshi idly scratching in the dirt, he smiled softly at her enthusiasm. The stuck his tongue out at Ari. "Well, at least Oslo notices me," he laughed and sauntered over to the group. "If you're that weary, maybe you shouldn't let us jabber at you all day. I've just been doing the regular stuff: working on poems," he glanced up at the clouds, a favorite topic of late, "dabbling in watercolors, skipping school." He shrugged, but after a moment of thought he was embarrassed to have admitted that in front of Oslo, the go-getter. "One of my sister's just started college and my mom's freaking out." He rolled his eyes.

"Things have been odd around here today, though. Did Arielle tell you about Christoph's latest maneuver?" He didn't really want to talk about it, but Oslo should be filled in. The tensity showed in Yoshi's shoulders and the way he averted his eyes from the group before him.

Ari smiled back at Yoshi and stuck out her tongue for a moment. "Yes, I told him...But I know less about the Noel thing..so whichever one of you knows more about that part might as well tell him too", Ari said, turning back to Oslo and smiling brightly at him. They were an interesting group of people, they all had their downfalls, but they had good points too. It could be very easy to either hate them, or love them, at least that's what she'd been told by her mother.

The smile became a smirk as Oslo Konrad listened to what little the pair had to say. "If you're ever headed to Europe, I could probably get you a pretty strong discount on flights," he suggested to Ehuang. "And I must say, I highly recommend travel. We do have our... problems, but I imagine that so long as you don't go looking for romance, it shouldn't be an issue. In my experience, the Curse has never been a hassle, but then again, I'm only ever away on business. There's little time to indulge the id."

His attention shifted to Yoshi then. For a split second, he mentally admired the young man for his easy and calm nature; in that aspect, they were quite similar Oslo believed, and it gave the teenage executive that much more respect for his fellow accursed. "Only a manner of speech, Yoshi. I'm quite lively." For a moment, he paused letting the ram and tigress exchange a few words and nodded to affirm Arielle's words. Then his eyes moved among the three. "What's this about Noel?"

Angie gave a small laugh. "Ah, the poor little id, ego and superego keeping it in check, not being allowed to do all that it wants." She said, Freud's theory on the id was something she had learned in ap psych the year before. It was pleasant to hear a bit of a refresher from school. "And me, looking for romance..yeah, that's slim to none.." She said, for she never did much in the romance department, and to herself, she thought part of it was because she was afraid. An issue she might never have to resolve. "The whole Europe thing would be great, I'd love to visit England, France, travel down to Greece and Italy." She said, mind going off on the places she wanted to visit before she died.

Apparenly no one else really knew what happened, Angie knew little, but would tell what she could. "Noel, well, her and Cristoph were arguing like usual, for some reason she transformed in front of him, he took the advantage to take all of her clothes, even the ones in her room, and hide them. She got a sheet, when she changed back, and used it as a toga, and basically chased him around the house, grabbing a knife once in the kitchen...But you know Noel, clumsy, she tripped, dropped the knife, and it landed right in front of her face, And thats basically what happened..for that's when Yoshi, Hide, and myself showed up. I only know so much because Noel explained a bit to me before Cristoph had to be taken to Hide's office." She explained, a bit longwinded, but it was through, to say the least..

It took Korsu a bit of time to realize that Kairi was starting to get cold. He didn't notice until she crossed her arms, looking cold. Hm, must of forgotten her coat. Should I? he conflicted with himself, then hearing her hint at something warm, he unzipped his coat and toke it off. He offered his coat to her and said, "Well anywhere is good for me. And I'm sure that all of it would be warm too. As long as you don't get a salad or ice cream or something like that." He avoided looking at her, his arm held out with his coat in it, free for her to accept if she wanted to. If she didn't want to accept it though, he would put it back on. Distantly, he wondered why he offered her his coat. It's not like he would do this on a normal day. It must just be the wierd change in emotion.

Kairi laughed a little at his comment. "Does ramen sound good for you? I could do with some noodles and such right now... Maybe a tempura udon... Yeah!" she said with a certain light in her eyes that showed that she could definitely agree with that food.

Suddenly noticing Korsu was holding his jacket out her her, she looked at it for a moment and looked at him, noticing he almost seemed to avoid looking at her. "Are you sure?" she asked him as she took it cautiously from him, wrapping it around her. "If you get cold, let me know, and I'll give it back, okay?" she said to him and smiled gently. "Thanks, you rat," she joked and nudged him gently, laughing a little.

Christoph blinked as people either sulked away or stayed depressed, so he looked around and found something long and thin, but not sharp-pointed. He instantly grabbed a pointer, and began flicking Hide's ear with it.
"Hide! Doc! Can I go... out?"

'See, plenty of good old fashioned drama for your return", She said. She wondered how Cristoph was doing, if he was conscious or if he was seriously injured and hospitalized. She doubted it was too bad. "Europe would be fun, there are a lot of places I'd like to visit again..", She said. Anything but the UK, that was a place she would never go again. The thought of it made the light in her eyes fade a for a moment as memories began to floo back. Her hand bumped into Oslo causing her to snap back into herself, she shook her head and grinned at Angie and Yoshi. "Angie, I get to be in the dance competition...Oslo..he offered to dance with me so I could qualify..", She said. She would show Oslo the different styles and let him pick the one he was most comfortable with, since he'd been kind enough to offer to be her partner in the first place. "Anyway, how about we go get food, I'm hungry..", She suggested.

"Hm, yeah, Europe would probably be nice," Yoshi mused, "but I guess I really want to see America--New York and LA and that stuff. It's probably note like it is in the movies, but it still sounds..." He pictured the lights of Time Square and the blond California babes. "...dazzling."

"Yeah." He nodded at Angie's summary. "I think there might be something else, though. I mean, yeah those two never liked each other and they do things to piss each other off, but I felt like Noel was pretty serious. I don't know what she would have done with that knife, if she had gotten the chance." He stared at the ground for a minute, mulling it over, then snapped his eyes back up and laughed hesitantly, "Maybe I'm just oversensitive."

At the mention of a dance competition, Yoshi grinned in earnest at Oslo. "Lucky man! He gets to dance with Arielle. I certainly wouldn't mind that privilege," he bowed int he Tiger's direction, "but she has chosen you. Do us all proud, Oslo." He patted his stomach for a moment. "Yeah, I suppose I could do with a bite. Haven't eaten since this morning. It must be around lunchtime, what with all the excitement."

[Noel The Rooster]

Noel’s stomach grumbled loudly and she cringed. Lunch was definitely in order. Even though she didn’t really want to show her face around the house until at least next week. Quietly she slipped out of bed and out the door of her room into the hall. Her bare feet slapped across the wooden floor and she saw no one on the way to the kitchen. It was completely empty when she got there so she was able to sigh with release and open the fridge.

Inside the fridge the girl found that her salad had been eaten… Her sorrow was immediately gone, and she was once again annoyed. Noel couldn’t eat a lot of things that the others could, and when they eat her clearly labeled meals it made her very angry. She muttered about the other children’s stupidity as she scoured though the fridge, looking for anything else to nibble on that would end her belly’s persistent moans.
