Ganon smiled, perhaps a bit bitterly, and held Hatmon close for a long moment. His face was a mere few inches from hers, his eye staring into hers, as his tail held her close, one claw resting gently on her back...
And then he unwrapped his tail from her, sliding his claw away and turning his head. "I... Okay." He turned back, putting on a more genuine smile this time. "You better come straight back here. I'm gonna need someone to cuddle after all this is over, and I happen to know you're an expert." His smile split into a grin as he gently pushed her up. "Now go on and catch up with the others, they'll be way ahead by now."
As he watched her saunter off, he sighed... then turned back to his meal and tore into it voraciously.

Once all the people that were heading down to the final battle left, Roy sighed before he unsheathed the Sword of Seals from behind him. He glanced at the blade for a moment before sticking it gently into the ground in front of a rock. The young lord then took a seat on the rock and gazed into the Emblem that was inserted into the blade, his body leaning forward and his arms resting on his thighs.
Now the waiting game began.

“Right,” she said when Ganon had released her and pushed her up. The initial action had been unexpected, but when nothing happened, she almost found herself disappointed. It was if she had been expecting something from the unexpected and when it didn’t happen she was left wondering. A small smile came to her lips as she ran her paw over her fluffy black tail, as if to smooth it out. “Well, I best be off then. Need to watch out for those humans, they always seem to find their way into trouble.” Though at one time Hatmon was human, she no longer viewed herself as one.
As she walked away, Hatmon transformed once again into her fox form. It was her preferred form for battles, for she had much more agility and strength in the form. As much as she sometimes didn’t want to admit, she was a lot like laguz, and she respected them. Her wings flapped a few times momentarily before she took off running. Though the others had left before her, her speed would allow her to easily catch up despite the delay.

The camp suddenly went awfully quiet.
The final battle had obviously begun. The majority of the people that stayed in the camp had now left. Lance wearily got up and exited his tent. The camp was now mostly empty, save for a few individuals who had stayed behind. Lance sighed. Somehow, even if he was hurt, he felt like he was letting his companions down. Whether he was hurt or not, he should contribute any way he can. But in this instance, he couldn't.
He had lied a double-lie though. It was true it did hurt more than Lance let on, but it also wasn't as bad as if he couldn't move around. In fact, he could move around pretty well.
However, he didn't think he'd contribute with anything in the battle. Still pretty hurt, a skill he couldn't control and a fighting style useless against opponents that skilled, when he didn't wasn't able to 'feel the beat' anymore. He sighed as he scurried around the camp, getting supplies for his own little journey. With everything present and accounted for, Lance dressed up, took his little backpack with supplies, and left the camp, rushing into the forest, as he made sure no one followed him.

Roy had dozed off. That was all he was aware of when he opened his eyes again some time later. The Sword of Seals, his long-time partner in combat, still laid in front of him. He took a deep breath before getting up to his feet.
He trusted that the others would win this fight and defeat the god Loki and the Heroes of legend. The same Heroes he had lunch with almost a month ago. Why...why were they fighting? Why were they fighting Mika and the Heroes? He looked up at the sky (or tried to. The treetops prevented that) and sighed. The young lord couldn't fight family, and even though there was only a small connection between himself and Mika (him being the grandchild of Nergal, Mika being the daughter of the same man), he knew he wouldn't be able to face her with a truth he felt that caused this whole mess. They were not responsible for what became of Madrianna. They didn't deliver the final blow: Granny N did.
Roy pulled the sword out of the ground and sheathed it before looking at the others that remained behind. His Uncle was napping with FD, the bard Ganon was eating and resting. Any others, he could not see from his position, but he knew it wasn't just four members that were left behind. Roy's Sayonara"If the bard Nils wakes up or the dancer Ninian returns here...please give them this message: I'm sorry I cannot stay with you guys any longer. It was fun...fun being with members of my family I have not seen in years. This one month with them...was truly a blessing for me. But...I have to continue my journey...to find my father. May our paths cross once more in the future." he said softly to whoever was still awake.
"And...a message for the nomad girl named Sue when they return victorious. I'm sorry...that I'm not here to await your return with Rei and everyone else. I enjoyed fighting by your side once more...the last time we worked together was when we liberated Elibe from Bern and stopped Zephiel from eliminating humanity with dragons. I...I wanted to go with you guys to the final battle, but I don't think I could fight against Mika...because, after all...she's my Aunt. Enemies or not...I can't fight family. I have to continue my journey to find my father."
"I guess this really is...sayonara. Sayonara...to everyone." he spoke softly. His final words.
Then, he turned around, his cape brushing against his heels, and walked into the forest. Moments later, he was gone. Not once did he look back, though from the way he spoke, he was trying not to cry. Parting with everyone again...it hurt so much.

Shinon watched as Roy walked into the forest. He was a bit curious about where he was going. I must of dozed off..... where is everyone? Shinon got up and followed the hoof-prints of the horses.

A voice. Who... who? Who was speaking in a voice that was so tauntingly familiar to the barely awake bard, speaking of leaving of all things? Why...? It made no sense. It was so comfortable, being with the ones you love... Why would the person leave? What was so important to leave what you have behind for a chance at something else? No sense... it made no sense at all!!
"... May our paths cross once more in the future."
Don't go! The bard cried out in an unheard voice, still locked in sleep. You can stay!
"... Sayonara... to everyone."
Please, don't leave!!
With a simple turn, the young lord was gone, to begin his chase after a parental figure. Nils' eyes blinked open slowly, turning in the direction of the voice, hoping to say something in response.
But no one was there. The speaker was gone, vanished, as if he was never there. There were only a few people around now, all that he knew didn't have that voice.
Nils shook his head and brushed some of his hair out of his face with one hand. He murmured softly, his eyes watering up with tears.
"... Nephew..."
(( Had to reply to it. >: ))
