Fuyumi was running around in circles when she spotted a student who seemed to be talking to himself. She dashed over to the student and started to introduce herself, "Hello, I'm Fuyumi Yoshiko and I'm new to Ria High. Have you seen my sketchbook? It's blue and has my name on it in gold letters."

Gordon looked behind him after snapping out of his daze. " Im sorry miss. No I haven't. If you want I can help you look for it. I have nothing else to do and it would be my pleasure." he said smiling at her. He could use this time to relax and get his mind off of fighting.

Fuyumi smiled, "Oh! Could you? I'm having such a hard time looking for it by myself. I mean, since I'm new to Ria High, I get lost very easily in this big school. In fact, after I find my sketchbook, I'm supposed to look for the courtyard, and I don't even know where THAT is!"

Sachi was growing bored from swinging. She also started to feel a bit hungry. Slowly easing off of the seat, she sat down on the ground and held her tiny stomach. For approximately 15 seconds, she sat there with a blank expression on her face.
She had received a vision: booths and tables filled a very large room. The people sitting in those seats were enjoying various meals. Her position suggested she was looking through the eyes of one of the students. Through this person's eyes, she saw a young man dressed military type-clothing sitting across from her. This is where her vision ends.
Sachi stood up; she knew exactly where to go to get food. Without a sound, she ran in the direction of the dining hall.

" The courtyard? Which one? There's the Northern one and the southern one. So which one do you remember having it last in?" he asked her. He yawned a bit still sleepy from his fight earlier. And he was starting to get hungry. He could really go for a nice steak sandwich.

Kaori watched from the sidelines as Alyssa and Shepard chatted, straining to hear from a distance. She caught a few snatches of their words, but nothing really made sense. Her eyes widened as they exchanged kisses and then Alyssa stalked off. Shepard flew away and Kaori blinked in surprise, glancing at Gordon curiously.
As another woman approached, looking for Julia, Kaori was about to reply but Gordon did instead. So, she simply nodded her agreement to Gordon's words. As she saw Gordon and Alyssa talking next, Kaori sighed and moved herself over towards the playground. When another female began talking with Gordon as well, Kaori climbed up to its highest point and perched there, looking out over everything in silence, red eyes not even blinking. She suddenly felt extremely alone. Where had Kai gone? She sighed again softly as she stroked Kei's back, the dragon having followed her up and settled in her lap.

" Hey Kaori. Want to come help us look for her sketch book? " Gordon asked turning around smiling at her. It was rude to leave your friends behind. Even ruder of that friend saved your life. He gave a thumbs up.
" Come on. It might be fun. And maybe we can something to eat along the way. I beat where all really hungry" he said still smiling as his stomach growled loudly. He rubbed the back of his head as a sweatdrop fell.

Kaori tilted her head to the side in curiousity as Gordon did another hand gesture by clenching his fists and leaving just the thumb raised. Nevertheless, she nodded slowly and jumped from the playground's top, holding Kei tightly in her arms. The dragon was still injured and she didn't want him to aggrivate the wound. Once she'd reached them, she finally spoke. "Ok, where'd you last see it?" she asked the girl quietly. "The courtyard did you say?"
She absently patted her own stomach lightly, taking in Gordon's comment about food. She hadn't eaten since quite a few days before even arriving at this place and she suddenly took note of it. She quickly stifled a laugh as she heard his stomach growling.

Evelyn entered the playground area with a slightly awed look on her face. She had just been wandering th campus, her eyes taking in the scenery when all of a sudden she witnessed a fight--no, a battle-- between students. When she entered the gates it was peaceful and somewhat serene, but that quickly changed. What have I gotten myself into?
As Evelyn surveyed the area, her eye scanned the seemingly innocent place. It all appeared calm, but after her little tour, she wasn't so sure. Maybe coming here was a mistake...
She spotted some other people at the playground, two girls and a boy. They seemed normal enough from a distance. From the sound of it they were looking for a... she strained to hear... sketchbook? Not having anothing else to do and thinking this was the perfect, "normal" way to make friends, she carefully approached the pair. She adjusted her skirt and pushed her hair behind her ear, trying not to seem nervous.
"Um... hi." She coughed to clear her throat. "I uh... sort of heard you were looking for something. Would you mind an extra set of eyes to help you look?"

Kaori absently begain adjusting the straps that held the huge sword to her back. Then her ear twitched and turned sharply as she heard footsteps approaching but relaxed slightly as she watched the female approaching. Kaori's tail flicked back and forth absently behind her as she slightly narrowed her crimson eyes. "I'm sure that'd be ok, right?" she asked, turning towards Gordon just to make sure.
She returned to pampering her dragon as she waited for a reply, frowning as she noted the patch of ice Kai had placed over the wound was rapidly melting. She quickly decided Kei would be alright though, since the skin around the burnt and melted flesh was already coming back together quite nicely. Then she looked up sharply again. "O-oh, and my name's Kaori," she nodded, extending a clawed hand in greeting.

Evelyn shook Kaori's hand and smiled, a little of her nervousness melting away. she did note, however, that her hand was clawed; something she had never seen before. Information stored. Memory updated. It was in that moment she realized that by enrolling in this school, she had entered a world she never knew existed.
"I'm Evelyn. I just enrolled." She was about to introduce herself to the others when something in Kaori's hands caught her eye. Literally. Her eye tried to scan the tiny creature but it came up as "Unknown." As much as Evelyn wanted to ask about it, she decided curiousity could wait. "So... what are you looking for?"

Kaori nodded silently as she withdrew her hand again, wrapping it also around the small dragon she held for extra support. She noted Kei's breathing seemed to be improving and nodded in satisfaction. Then she watched as Evelyn's eyes dropped to him but didn't say anything since the girl hadn't either. Kaori frowned slighty at her question. "If I heard correctly, then it's her sketchbook that's been misplaced," she said softly, realizing that she didn't even know the girls name. "I think it's been lost somewhere in the courtyard?"

He walked around still exploring his new school he dcided to run around the park for a little training. As he rounded a turn he felt something slip under his foot as he tunbled and fell catching himself with his hands. He stood up noticing he had scraped his hands and swore under his breath as he looked at what he had slipped on. It appeared to be some sort of mat, but upon closer examination it appeared to be sketchbook with a name. Not even bothering to look at the name he simply attempted to pick up the scent as best as he could for a cat and searched for the owner.

Julia and Jo had been catching up with each other as the others were conversing, but heard the others were going to be eating, perking Julia's ears.
"I'm a bit starved myself," she said before taking a puff on her cig while turning to look at her companions who were marching towards the main building, "I can introduce you to my... 'friends'"
"Whatever... I'm a little hungry I suppose..." was Jo's flat-toned reply, "...so long as it isn't bad..." The blood red eyes of Jo's were expressing a vapid state of mind as she simply stared at the side of Julia's head, ready to accompany her to wherever she was going.
"Optimistic as usual eh? You shouldn't worry," Julia replied with an almost up-beat tone, "At least pretend to be interested... and come out of hiding while you're at it."
"Sure..." A lethargic tug of the scarf brought it down around her neck rather than around her face to reveal more of her face.
The two women began their pursuit of the others towards the dining area, walking some distance behind though as Jo would have really preferred to not interact with the others. They walked along side each other as sisters would; their movements clearly similar. Julia's mane of flowing blond hair matched with Jo's sash, both objects fluid and seemed to dance with one another in the wind.
Noticing Kaori being distracted by a rather raunchy looking girl, she shouted to her, "Kaori! Are you coming or what? We're-" Julia broke off as she further examined the other girl. Her eyes, they magnified on her while making a striking discovery. The details were unmistakable; an obviously inhuman eye and a poorly concealed arm. In reality, even the eagle eyes which Jo had would have a hard time noticing these details, but Julia's bionic eyes were flipping through her x-ray and infrared spectrums to confirm her suspicions. Another cyborg... Her right arm couldn't help itself from clenching as the servos tapped the metal fingers against the steel palm. She began to walk over towards them, wanting to acquaint herself with this new woman.
However, Jo was able to instantly recognize the look in Julia's eyes as she scrutinized the girl. It was a look which has witnessed on a number of occasions which were usually followed by an action which she would rather do solo. Jo allowed her to walk off as she stood by spectating.
"You there, mind if we could acquaint ourselves?" Julia's voice was directed at the woman as she locked her eyes upon hers, hoping that she could recognize the specific model of optics. Simultaneously, she held out her arm which would seal the deal between them as it is not often that people such as themselves encounter another of their kind. It was a gesture which could have been perceived as a wave of greeting...

Someone's watching me...
That was Evelyn's first thought as she listened to Kaori explain. She wanted to scan the area but she didn't want Kaori to think she wasn't paying attention.
"You there, mind if we could acquaint ourselves?" a female voice called.
Eveyln look over her shoulder and caught sight of a blonde woman, looking directly at her, or more accurately, into her. Evelyn tensed. She turned to fully face the woman and it was then she noticed that she too carried cybernetic enhancements: her eyes and the arm she waved with. Her greeting didn't seem entirely friendly, more like she wanted to confirm her findings.
With doubts still in her mind, Evelyn accepted the woman's greeting with a small wave of her own. If this person was like her, maybe there was a chance she could learn control. "I don't see why not. I'm Evelyn." Her voice was cheerful and inviting, but her eyes never left the blonde's. "And you are?"
