"In good time Leon, Patience is a virtue, so Niiro-" he looked past Niiro to the empty space "-and Idrial, would you like to know why I saved you?"
Leon looked at the girl confused Idrial? who the hell is he talking about?

[Not really sure where to post ...I got left long time ago]
Solo sighed, the school had turned into a war zone, and it was only getting worst from here. The innocent lives that would be lost, the people that would killed for their stupidity.
He was silent as the anger seemed to curl in his belly. He wanted a way to stop this suddenly, a wish for a knightmare, a gun, something.
he clentched his fist, and remained silent through out this entire situation.

The ride was nervewracking, and Rowena kept thinking that she was going to be shot, but they made it. As soon as the Knightmare's hands were close enough to the ground, the princess hopped off and landed safely. She then turned around and looked up at the Knightmare. "Would you be coming with me, or do you have orders to return?" She would need a return route sometime...

"No, replied Eternal. He walked on over and onto the Shrike Mk.II's hands. The two sisters followed after him. "Leon is down here.... somewhere, I'm sure he'll give you a ride back up." He turned to face the Shrike Mk.II. "Let's go. There's no time to waste."
The Shrike Mk.II promptly took off and began ascending upwards. Kanita sighed as wondered if it was really a good idea to leave the Princess with a idiot bodyguard with a crush on his charge....
---(same time)
Off the coast.... something began moving..... something large....

"Time to balance out the odds," muttered Esther as she drew the Mark 00's Flash Talons, both of them. She kept the RAMVs at max output and began rapidly attacking the massed fleet of Nephilim... There simply wasn't the space left to allow for wasted strikes, or rather, it was nearly impossible to miss due to the sheer cluttered of the enemies.

Shishuku went straight for covering the area of the Hole, to provide cover against descending knightmares.

"When did you get to be so cryptic, Asura....?" Niiro glanced at Leon, amused at his confusion before looking back at Asura. "What did you have to gain from saving the both of us... And I want your resons Asura... Not that idiot Panic's or the Nephilim's ideals." In an impatient fashion, one finger was tapping the metal pole she still had with her, The rest of her body tensed for the slightest indication that she should phase, or make a grab for the other two before phasing.
Idrial stared silently at Asura, smiling softly as he actually took the time to look in her direction. Her gaze shifted over to Leon, chuckling at his obvious confusion.

"The answer is.....kinda complicated." he said standing up and walking over to Niiro "You see, you are.......important to me Niiro, Idrial. You.......complete me." he looked away when this.
Leon stood up "Asura....what are you scared of?" he asked "Did Panic give you some kind of order you don't agree with?"
Asura didn't look at him "He gave me orders to offer an invitation to join Nephilim, and if refused to kill you immediately." he clenched his fists "I can't though.....you see due to.......previous terms before I got caught up in this war.....before we even met." he said looking back to Niiro
"Asura.....what the hell are you talking about?" asked Leon confused "Before any of us met....so a year ago?" he paused "So what are these 'Terms' you are talking about."
He smiled "To never lose my humanity, something a assassin has no need for....but as long as I live, I must follow these terms...." he felt dizzy, most likely from blood loss ".....I can't kill the people....who I need....to stay human....those were the terms." He collapsed and lost consciousness.

"Wait, but I came down here--" Rowena didn't get to finish her protest as the knightmare took off again. It was... Frustrating, trying to even get a handle on what exactly was going on. And why can't she remember anything from the entire day prior to waking up? It really was impossible for her to have slept the whole day, much less in her school uniform.
And then she found herself alone again. Rowena shook her head and started walking to where it seemed like voices were coming from, brushing a few stands of hair off her face. And there she found Leon, as Eternal had mentioned his presence, and... Others. "Asura!" She exclaimed, remembering the face of the traitor so well. She sprinted forward, stopping short just beside Leon. "Did you...?" The princess asked Leon an incomplete question, but he would most likely understand what she was asking him. Did you kill him?

Leon was deep in thought, I understand those terms, but who could have convinced Asura to follow them.....and why. He heard the Princess's question looked at her, then back to Asura "No, I didn't kill him....I couldn't." he looked back down at the unconscious Asura, then to Niiro "Take care of Asura, Princess if you would please follow me and fill me in on whats happening up there, it would be appreciated," he said "and I'll fill you in on the whole Asura thing on the way." he turned and began to walk away from them.

Rowena nodded, gazing quietly at Asura's unmoving figure before turning to look at Leon. "What about you? Are you hurt?" Physically, she mean. The way the man looked was already telling the princess that this couldn't have been easy for him, emotionally. She remembered how he had reacted to Asura's betrayal. But Rowena didn't mention that anymore, and started to walk alongside him.
"The situation above... I wish I knew what it was." The princess started mildly, smiling wryly to herself. "I woke up not even an hour ago, not knowing what happened for the entire day -- and then I saw this hole in the school grounds. What else was I supposed to think?" She shook her head, face turning serious again. "I can only assume -- and hope -- that the students had already evacuated or taken shelter. I had no reason to think otherwise, but the fact that I seemed to have slept though the entire situation remain a concern to me. Latune told me that the EF and Nephilim are involved too though, and the Nightingale and the Ascendant were only beginning battle as I was brought down here." She paused for a bit, then added anxiously. "They shouldn't be engaging each other so close to the academy."

Niiro watched silently as Leon... and what looked like a princess walk away. Sighing, she knelt down, hand touching the side of Asura's neck for a pulse. "Esther will probably kill me for this...." She looked around, before propping Asura up and throwing one of his arms over her shoulders. Then, standing up, she used her calm link, trying to connect directly to Esther and failing... "Hey Esther... Can you hear me? I'm down in the huge hole, with an unconscious Asura. Do you want me to come up? Or wait down here?" She waited for an answer, unaware that she wasn't talking to Esther.

"I knew I should of came back here with you." Leon said "I just had this feeling." he sighed slightly "I'm a little banged up, it would have been worst if it wasn't for Asura." he sighed a little heavier "He saved me and that girl back there, if it wasn't for him we'd be dead...which makes me question if he is friend or foe." he opened a com-link to the Nightingale "Aldan could you inform me of the situation top side?"

Rowena smiled humorlessly, shaking her head. "I understand Commander Eternal's reasons for not letting you, and also of the implications it could bring." She did not explain further. The VSD superseded the imperial children in rank, and it would be an issue if Leon was delegated to be Rowena's bodyguard. Anyway, whatever happens to Rowena was probably was the least of the division's concern. Her eldest brother would surely find a way to use that whatever to his advantage. "Maybe bringing Asura up to the Nightingale will make things clearer." She mused quietly, slightly turning away while Leon made his call. Her mobile phone... Where was it, really?

(Lychee, bringing Asura up to the Nightingale in this situation would be a Death Flag for Asura...)

Erina grimaced in annoyance at the number of hostiles in the air. She had switched off her command frequency to prevent a flood of comm. requests from distracting her.
The twins Eclair and Lumiere were half frantic since they didn't have too much experience in dealing with these sort of situtations in or out of the simulators.
---(Now)
"Hello? Idrial was it? I'm sorry but we hadn't had time to give you a direct comm.... And Esther has her command comm. offline. As does Erina," replied Chrise. She glanced over to Edward for ideas.
"I'd say bring him up and back to the Ascendant. Her Geass will be helpful," replied Edward. He got out of his seat and made for the exit of the Command Deck.
"Please return to the ship then," replied Chrise. "Also, please bring him with you. Make sure he is a secured package though."
"Alrighty then...~" said Rosen as she dropped herself into the seat Edward had left vacant. She typed in her password and brought up a personal section on the ship.... consisting of her anti-personnel explosives built into the ship, and ones designed against certain mechanical stuff....
---(At the same time)
"All guns destroyed...," reported Sonia. "Enemy borders being repelled from defensive positions."
"Causalities?" asked Kinata. If this goes badly we'll probably have to call back Midgard until the next model is completed....
"Moderate wounds at most for official members. Enlisted members have taken higher casualties and a number of losses. Two of our escort vessels are readying self destruct mechanisms in case their situtation worsens," replied Sonia.
"Ah Leon, so you're still alive," mused Aldan. "Enemy boarding attempts, mass swarming... You get the idea."
"Speaking of which, get your rear up here on the double. And bring the Princess as well," ordered Kinata.
---(At the same time)
"Drop us off in the Nightingale's hanger," ordered Eternal as the Shrike Mk.II cleared the hole.
"Eternal-sama, should I?" asked Shishuku as she brought the Arch Zephyr near the Shrike Mk.II.
"No. The two of you defend the Nightingale. We'll take the fight inside," replied Eternal.
The Shrike Mk. II sped straight for the Nightingale with the Arch Zephyr clearing a path for it.
---(At the same time)
The ArkLinear boosted up out of the water as...
"Target locked. Now then, Fire!" said Erika as she hit the last key.
The ArkLinear's entire array of Hadron Cannons and both Baryon Heavy Cannons opened fire in the direction of the Tokyo Settlement. Or more precisely, at precise angles which would maximize damage upon Nephilim forces while steering clear of EF forces and civilian locations. However, it didn't quite care about Britannian forces in its path, other than the Nightingale.
---(At the same time)
Esther smiled with obvious hint of evil thought, especially since they weren't going to spare the Nephilim forces... She sheathed the Flash Talons, and instead targeted and launched all twelve Boost Slash Harkens and all four Drill Boost Flails, all at different enemy targets.
She used the force of the RAMVs' speed to blitz around enemy fire while using the Boost feature of the launched weapons to circle back around from the enemies' flank and other undefended areas.

"Roger." Niiro replied. By secured package... I hope they mean harmless.... Which would include me finding some cloth or something... She looked around and, seeing nothing, tore of part of her sleeve. Having secured it so that the sleeve became a blindfold, she quickly entered Hogosha, carrying Asura in the claws of one hand. She looked up out of the huge hole, smiling before jumping and activating her float unit just as she cleared it. She floated there for a moment, looking for the Ascendant and moved quickly towards it.
Her Geass was very useful for this part, sense she just pass through the KMF's that tried to block her path. She sighed, spotting the correct hanger(or at least what she hoped was the correct hanger), which was closed. She stopped just in front of the door before moving through it slowly, unsure of how thick it was. Once inside, she looked around, taking in the debris of Nephilim ships. "Command this is Niiro, I'm in one of the hangers and awaiting further instruction."

---(Status of EF Hanger)
EF Hanger had switched to personnel combat setup with all exits from the hanger sealed and concealed as if they didn't exist and only the main exit through a wide corridor which would be about the span of four doors.
Several Nephilim landing craft littered the hanger, with most of them disabled from one sort of damage or another, all involving the cockpit and controls of the crafts.
The hanger and the wide corridor was littered with Nephilim corpses and some trails of blood originating from the corridor on back towards the T intersection at the end which was marked by the remains of gunfire and other weaponry.

Heh, it seems things aren't going so bad after all. Edward smiled as he glanced over the CIC just a moment before leaving the Command Deck. He quickly headed down the corridor and entered the first left door, which was both the briefing and debriefing room for the Command Deck. Edward noticed that a pending transmission and tapped the button to bring it up on screen. He was greeted by a rather pleased Erika. "Oh...." said Edward in realization.
---(At the same time)
Eternal and the two girls lept off the Shrike Mk.II the second it was solidly inside the hanger. All three of them drew their weapons. Eternal drew his katana and four steel poker cards. Kannagi drew her scythe, and kept her halberd strapped on her back diagonally. Takane drew both katanas while keeping both naginatas strapped over her back in a x shape pattern.
"Shishuku, Kanita, intercept boarding assist units," ordered Eternal as he broke off into a run, ignoring the following affirmation.
Kannagi swiftly passed Eternal, and broke off to the right to deal with Nephilim infiltrators. She made quick and effective use of the scythe, more so because it wasn't exactly a 'normal' weapon of choice, especially when matched with her outfit and appearance.
Takane immediately broke to the left and used her dual style to engage one Nephilim personnel for a moment before engaging the next while finishing off the first one with her second katana.
Eternal threw the cards at separate targets to engage further enemies while closing in and slashing away with his katana, drawing his double bladed rifle whenever it was needed. "I've brought backup," informed Eternal.
(Note: The Shrike Mk. II, Arch Zephyr, Mk. Gun, Mk. Lance, GunFalken, Beowulf, Sigmund, and Mark 00 Version 2 are all engaged in battle...
As are all Air Cruisers except for the Blitzeisen and ArkLinear, neither of which are close to the battlefield.)
