Erik had been fighting the entire time, yet he wasn't growing fatigued. Something had been bugging Erik for the past couple of years...after what the Fire Nation did to him, burning him to within an inch of death's door, he wondered: Was he still human?

((You do know ratchet that Sara is very strong, as she isn't human and pretty skilled at unarmed combat, so the punch should have done something...but whatever to the highly complex and deadly dance of swords))
Sara picked herself up face set in a feral snarl. She picked up the sword and realized it was her own. She set herself into a defensive stance and waited for the coming attacks. She held her sword in her right hand vertically with her other hand set behind it, her legs she had widened to be a little wider than her shoulders. She was ready to leave and these weak beings weren't going to stop her. 'I'll even reveal my true form if need be, just to escape yet another cage I find myself in' She thought to herself nearly breaching the small wall holding back the animal inside herself.

"We know of your true form, Sara. Do not hold back. If you do, you shall die." As he spoke, the two scimitars held by the General burst into flame. The General raised his weapons, ready to fight.
((I understand that Sara isn't human, but neither are the Hellspawn. You don't get to the rank of General if you're a wimp...))

(yea... sorry I took so long. Well here I go.)
Mia then jumped down from the tree, and yelled to everyone that it was now safe. The villagers then slowly came out of hiding. She then went over to the others, and saw that they took care of the people entering the camp. Mia then went next to Varnis and began to speak, "All right, what exactly just happened, were those people after us?" She looked at all of the people lying dead on the ground and sighed, not noticing that one of the men, on the ground, was still alive.

Looking about after the fighting was over Varnis put the two daggers away. "I don't think they where after us..." He replied to Mia as he looked over to the samurai that the guards where standing over. "But I think they where after him." Varnis pointed to the man. "But somethign was odd about them... Did you notice the pentagrams they wore over their nation's Emblem?"
Markis just watched them as they talked asnd inspected the bodies. The pentagram seemed odd for any nation to wear. Finding a note in one of their pockets he read it. It was a short note, but it seemed to be written in another language, or codded to prevent others from reading. Stuffing it in his pocket he walked back over to the one that was still alive.

((Ok just checking, here comes my favorite part.))
Sara smiled. "Oh buy have not the strength to get me there, or the space." She said the last part under her breathe and steadied herself. As she realized they were going to wait for her she moved into an offensive stance and sent a slow lazy slash at one of the grunts to the right.

The grunt Sara had aimed at was known as a Hoplite, carrying a massive sword and a tower shield. The grunt simply put his giant shield in the way of the slash. The General smiled. "Hoplites are good for building a living wall, wouldn't you agree?" The General shouted to the Hoplites an order. "Standing Wall!" The Hoplites all placed their shields in front of their bodies, leaving both Sara and the General trapped in a circle of mithril tower shields.
((Zeromercy, please do not have your character escape using whatever abilities you have. Sara is much stronger then the General and could kill him easy. Besides, fighting is more fun!))

(Hey Rachetgirl, is it ok if I do this, I want to role play with Sothe more.)
Sothe saw some fire rising from the ground, he jumped down from the tree, knowing what it was. A hellspan appeared from the flames and the flames went out. The hellspan walked over to Sothe and handed him a rather odd looking letter. Sothe took the letter and read it, "So your emperor that killed the recent fire nation king, has a mission for me? Alright, so he wishes the man Eric dead. Alright, but you can tell your master, I need to know a little bit more, about Eric, before I go after him. I would prefer not to do a suicide mission." Fire again raised from the ground and a bag of wonderful gems appeared. Sothe picked the pack up and put in into a small bag he had carried with him. "Well I can say your master pays well, but I still need more information on the target. My sources can find where he is, but I need to know his fighting style. The hellspan nodded it's head and disappeared in flames. Sothe then climbed over the wall and walked slowly though the crowed streets, in the nation square.

Sara smiled and nodded. "Yes very good, but you had better get pikemen to have behind them. A cavalry charge will beat down the strongest shield wall." She mentioned as she closed with the General. She feinted with a stab at his left side and spun on her forward right foot in a spin to come in with a swing at his head.
((Of course I won't. I do agree this is the funnest part.))

Azael soon found herself on the outside of a large clearing, farther back in the shadows. She knew this was close to where the flame had come from, so she was going to be very cautious. She moved out and soon found sign of a camp. Here it is, the people that were rumored to be going to the city close by. She thought to herself and drew her sword of water, she mentally made its glow fade until it just appeared as a normal sword in the bright light of morning. She was soon off in the direction the tracks had told her.

Once the threat was over everyone had started packing up their items to finish the journey to the city as the sun was starting to rise slowly into the sky.
Markis walked over to the man that was unconscious. "Tie him up and take him with us. I want to question him."The guards did as they where told and tossed him into the back of a wagon.
Varnis sighed as they started to move again. He didn't get any sleep that night, and was in pain once more. If they where to run into anything, he wouldn't be able to fight. "I wonder what that was all about..." He said to himself more than anyone as he tried to stay awake while walking dozing on and off.

The General was better then Sara thought he was. With a casual movement of his sword, he parried Sara's attack. "Men, you are relieved." The hellspawn breathed a sigh of relief. They ran away from where the General and Sara were dueling. "Now, prepare to fight in the depths of hell!" The General screamed as the ground erupted into flame.
