Anne stopped thrashing but her body became colder as her powers came back. " i dont feel so good..." Anne said, feeling as she would throw up. she tried sitting up but almost fell backwards until her wobbly arms caught her. she breathed hard. if this was trouble, walking would be impossible. she thought, groaning.

Kiri smiled as he watched Anne fall asleep and he looked ahead to see how everyone was doing with putting out the fires. Most were gone, but there were a few residual fires that were either harmless or put out quickly. He sighed and reached the river he had crossed to reach Anne. He stopped, he didn't know how he got across the first time, he was going on pure instinct at the time. He decided now was as good a time as any to try his wing idea, he could at least use them to hover over the water. He focused and a pair of golden angel wings appeared on his back and he rose of the ground slightly. He floated from side to side to make sure he wouldn't fall and crossed the river carefully. He reached the other side and was immediately met by a group of medics who asked to take Anne from him, he refused and simply asked where they were keeping the wounded. They directed him one tent that was still intact and he brought her there and set her down on one of the beds gently. A doctor came over and asked if he could examine her, Kiri allowed it and moved away, knowing she would be taken away to get her arm fixed, but it would be all right since she was already asleep.

Kiri heard Anne freaking out and he rushed to her, his wings still active. He knelt beside her bed and put a hand on her forehead and her other hand. "Hey, calm down, I'm right here." He smiled warmly and stroked her hair as he tried to calm her down.

Kiri smiled, "Not too much, we only lost a couple of the tents and we almost lost Alec's carriage, but I think the scorch marks add character to it. They remind me of his powers." As he said this he began to remove the restraints from her, the doctors not wanting to get close due to him still having the wings. "Why don't we get you back to your room, or would you like to see mine?" He helped her up and smiled gently.

Kiri smiled and said, "I'll show you." He started to help her out of the bed and asked, "Can you stand?" He held out a hand for her to take and smiled. His wings were still their warm golden color as they opened and closed slightly.

Kiri walked with her, one arm wrapped around her shoulders for support. His wings curled around them to keep them warm. Normally his powers didn't give off heat, but the wings did for some reason. He tried to figure it out, but it just gave him a headache and he decided to not worry about it.
