Red_Ronin Red the samurai gathered some things together. Soon he would be taking a long journey. Leaving his home behind Red headed out into the desert. He was anxious to get out into the world again. Just himself alone. No one to bother him. The clan leader could handle things for now without his assistance. "My first stop will be the shrine. There I can relax for a bit before I move on to my true destination."((ooc...going to the shrine))

The point of the temple just showed over the figures. They had all slowed down keeping a fast but steady pace. Suddenly one of the enemy Sune-ku dropped out of sight and the one right behind fell too. 'Quicksand' Kent thought. He hissed at his tribe "I'll go ahead. I don't want to lose you in the quicksand.
Kent advanced. His sharp eyes picked out the patches of quicksand and he skirted them. Now the enemy only numbered 15. The four foot seemless pyramid had a small oval engraved into it. Realization dawned on Kent and he ran full out.
They only numbered 4 when they reached them. One had the jet black opal that they had stolen. The Sune-ku had just placed it into the engraving when Kent sprang into their midst.
His scythes on chain whipped furiously. Kent weilded them wickedly, like a puppeteer. Throats were slit, weapons forced aside, and poison covered him from head to toe before he had killed them. He panted for a few moments before wiping his blades in the sand and sheathing him. He grabbed the opal and pulled but it wouldn't come out. His tribe was watching him earnestly when the ground started to rumble.

The pyramid rose, tossing sand and earthquakes that could probably be felt all across the desert. Kent realized the danger of what might happen and ran. He was not to far out when the wave of sand came. It was probably fifty feet high or so, Kent did not know for he only spared a glance before concentrating on his running. He practically flew across the desert sand, trying to escape. He waswith his clan of Sune-ku when the muchly reduced wave crashed over them.
He woke from unconsciousness a few minutes later, gasping for air and receiving a mouthful of sand instead. He dug frantically, almost suffocating before he dug through the two feet deep sand that covered him. He coughed out the sand and inhaled air. The sand left a gritty feeling in his mouth.
Kent stared in awe upwards. The pyramid could probably be seen halfway across the desert. Sand gushed from openings in the pyramid. Kent looked around but saw no one else. He assumed that his clan had died. Kent walked to the temple. He looked up and down it. He noticed an opening just below the jet black stone of his clan. But the pyramid was to steep and there were no crevasses to climb up. He figured out that to get the gem he needed to enter the pyramid. So he unsheathed his weapons and strode in fearlessly.

Kent entered cautiously and jumped in surprise when a huge stone slammed shut behind him enclosing him in darkness. Then, one by one, torches lit up down the hall lighting it effectively. Kent went even slower as he went further in. As he winded through the labrynthe he set of various traps involving spikes, poison darts, and disappearing floors. Eventually he was almost at the top of the pyramid when he climbed into a small room that was unlit. He retreated further back and came back with a torch. It was a small room with an obvious door and two bowls of incense set into the walls. Kent shrugged and lit the incense. He stood in front of the door waiting for something to happen.
The door exploded out and Kent was clipped at the shoulder as he leapt aside. Pain wracked his arm. He had dislocated his shoulder. As he wreathed from the pain the shoulder and he fainted with pain.

Kent woke up later. His arm was throbbing with pain. Kent grunted and used his good arm to get up. 'I better be able to get that gem back,' he thought. He walked slowly onto and up the stairs that were behind the door and emerged into THE room.
There were three large openings but in the center was what held his attention. In the center of the room was a pedestal upon which stood a pedestal. On that pedestal laid the sword. And at the bottom of the pedestal was writing. 'That's weird' Kent thought as he read the ancient Sune-ku symbols. It read,'The Sword of Souls'

Kent picked the sword up. For some reason, it felt almost natural in his hand. The ornate gold handle sort of represented a snake. THe blade was like silver but it was stronger. Obviously it was a work of magic. Kent shrugged and strapped the sword to his back with a few leather strips he always carried around. Then he walked carefully up to one of the openings and looked up. Ten feet above him shone the gem which had little handholds beneath it. They continued on to the top of the pyramid which was flat and large enough for a man to sit on.
He stared up at the gem. He realized if he took it out the pyramid would bury itself in the sand again. It took him five minutes to realize what the top of the pyramid was for. He climbed up right below the gem and gently tugged on it. He almost lost his grip to the pyramid as the gem came out easily and the pyramid began sinking slowly. He quickly scrambled up with the gem clutched to his chest and sat down.

*parth charged at ultima attacking him with his blade and using his meteors and after alot of thoes attacks ultima made a line of explosions that hit parth*

Seeing Parth fight this huge monster Chan just stares in amazement.
