James grinned and chuckled. "The joke part is habit. As for the saving you part," he smiled to her. "I have to protect my angel, right?" he asked rhetorically, relating back to the corny thing he said on the boat. The sun was reaching high point, but he'd take care of that buissness in a second. He was trapped in her eyes. He placed his finger gently under her chin, lifted it up slightly and kissed her ever so gently, his lips warming and soft.

Lily smiled at James and blushed, "I can see that you are still that handsome, smooth boy I met on the ship." She was about to say more, but then she was stopped by his kiss. She was shocked that he had kissed her, but she did not move away. This had been the first kiss that she had received in over a year. She had forgotten how good it felt to have a boy's lips against her own.

James saw the smile in her eyes, along with the shock. He released slowly, with a smile. "Yes, yes I am," he replied. "Now, let's get back to the cave," he added, still looking into her lovely eyes with his natural hazel eyes. Nature seemed to curl within them.

Lily stood up slowly and held her hand out for James to take. Her lips were tingling still, but it was a good feeling. She looked into his hazel eyes, hoping that he would take her hand and not let her stand there with her hand out like a useless moron.

James' smile turned into a chuckle. He wouldn't take her hand...no he'd do her one better. He lifted her into his arms, cradling her. His left arm throbbed with pain, but it was something he knew he'd be getting used to in this new place. He smiled at her and added, "Hang on," before sprinting off toward the cave. The faster he got her there, the quicker he could put her down. Since his legs weren't damaged, he ran full speed.

Lily was very worried about how much pain he must be in by carrying her. She wrapped her arms around his neck and smiled up at him. Her arms were in great pain, but that was the least she could do for him. She owed him her life and so much more.

Josh got back to the cave and looked up at Zack, "Do you mind helping me get the large bowl of water? It is quite large... I found it by the river and I think that there are other humans on the island, because the rock looked like it was cut and made by humans. Ari and I figured that we needed water, but she is helping Isaiah get here, we were attacked by some sort of raptor by the watering hole."

Zack chuckled at the rolled eyes he got. "Yeah, I went there," he joked to Lanni. He'd make fun of anything, from sex to race, Zack loved to piss people off or make them self-concious and scared, or just straight up make them cry. Their reaction was their choice, he just screwed with them. He wanted a girl that would react a certain way, and til' then he'd continue to screw with people.

Luckily Isaiah was able to get back to his feet. He didn't know if it was the loss of blood or just how cold the world felt since he was injured but his legs and injured arm had all gone numb. He tried to stand and although still painful it was barible. He wasn't goon die just yet but his slit open arm was left arm was useless to him as he manuevered the sleeping Aria on to his back and wondered where Josh had gone to as he started trecking in the direction of what was hopfully the rest of the group.

Zack shrugged. "Why not? Just let me kill a few things," he said walking back in the cave for a second. He found what he'd seen earlier on the wall and walked back out with it in his hands. A broadsword. It was long, strong, and heavy. It was hard to control, but packed a wallop of a punch. He'd wanted to try it out on something. He walked in the direction Josh had pointed. "Let's kill some raptors," he said cockily.

James got back to the group in time to see Zack leaving with the broadsword. "Wow, Zack's actually helping," he said, setting Lily down. "Must need to kill something," he added. Then he remembered, over the pain of his arm, his leg problem. "We need clothes," he stated to noone in particular, just stating a fact.

(how's this? biggrin and it was gold, lol XD)
Josh looked at Zack and picked up a sword of his own. He nodded and followed him quickly. He held the sword tightly in his hand as he showed Zack where the water bowl was. He looked at it and showed Zack the places where he saw knife marks and how bowl-like it was, "Looks like the work of humans, doesn't it?"
Lily then remembered, "James... are you able to walk anymore? Because I need to show you something..." She stood up and threw down the spear she had found, "I found this in the back of a passenger from the ship we were on... let me show you where I saw the dead human..."

Zack nodded. "Cool, now where's the raptor things," he said sharply, focused one-way. He wanted an enemy, not a theory.
James nodded, "Long as I don't have to lift anything," he replied lightly. He then heard her spear thing. "Wow...okay," he said solemn. He followed her, serious to a point he'd never been.

With a Miracles chance Isaiah could see the cave that every one was in although from the ouside he couldn't tell if anyone was there. He started there and was about half way when finally the pain in his left damaged arm returned but he ignored it with a seemingly safe place to rest so close and Ari on his back asleep. He was surprised he had been working so hard while so hurt since usually he was the last one to help. but that was survival.
