Nathan nodded, moving closer in curiosity. "Can I help you if I promise not to remember the recipe? I can't let you slave away all by yourself when it's my fault!" He grinned.
"Besides, I heard it's fun to cook with someone you're compatible with..."

Nathan blinked. "Huh? I don't feel so weak...maybe you distracted me with your wonderful voice and suggestions of what havoc we could create at your workplace?" He winked.
He didn't want to focus on how he felt, as he knew that that would bring the weakness to the fore.

Nathan pouted adorably. "Awww! But I know I'm fine so long as I keep talking, and my mind is on someone gorgeous who's currently standing before a stove to cook for me..."
The Angel felt an urge and decided to give in to it: he moved forwards to gently wrap his arms around Mao in a hug.

Mao sighed. "I'm not going to argue too much with you. Just make sure you're carefull. If you start feeling sick again then you need to go lay down right away." Mao continued to stir and watch to make sure that he didn't burn anything.

Nathan nodded, pressed a gentle kiss on the back of Mao's neck and then let go of him. It was a little disappointing that the other male had had no reaction to the hug or the flattery, but the Angel shrugged it off.
Then he stood beside the Demon, staring into the pot. "Smells... strange..." he mused.

Nathan deliberately pretended to ponder the question for a minute, head tilted to one side before he nodded. "Strange good I think..." he murmured, slightly teasing back.

Nathan frowned. "But I couldn't not eat it! You're spending all this time on it for me, and worrying about me enough to cook! Of course I'll eat it!" He exclaimed, entirely serious as he threw his arms around Mao in a tight hug.

"Then don't complain," Mao replied. After he had finished, he took some time to serve the food similar to how it would be done at a restaurant. He then carried it all to the table and pulled a chair out for Nathan to sit.

Nathan watched him, completely confused. Then he shook his head, sighing before going over to sit in the chair Mao held for him. When he got home, he would worry and puzzle over the mystery that was the demonic man in front of him.
For now... he smiled.
"So where's your plate?"

"Don't worry about me. I already ate so I'm not really all that hungry. Besides, demons don't have to eat all that much so I could go without eating for days if I had to." After Nathan sat down, Mao pushed his chair closer to the table and then went to go sit on the opposite side.

Nathan watched him speculatively. Then he licked his lips and asked what he wanted to, blurting it. "You said you're not hungry, but can I feed you some since I don't want to be the only one eating and it smells delicious!" He blushed and smiled at the end, feeling a little dizzy.
