I think we should open a thread for avatar art request ^_^. I'm not opened to any request (gomen!), although I would draw something more or less like the art on my sig (not the best thing of the world). However, I think that if there is anyone here interested on opening an avatar art shop that person should open a special thread only for that.
Just giving an advice, since I noticed that there are lots of people here in this thread asking for avatar art.
