"This..." He said, moving to a nearby computer. It held the basic outlines for what he was designing. It was essentially an insectoid, though nothing encountered on earth. Skipping over the boring anthropology of weaponry, he jumped straight to combat effectivenesss. "What I'm going to do, is place a couple of heavy plasma weapons on each one...facing forwards. The other energy weapons are going to be attached to the main stock, which has a swivel-style turretting system mounted atop the four legs. Now, this is based off a bug, they're light and have exoskeletons..obviously these things are going to be quite heavy. I'll need to do some work on upping their max speed to make them effective chargers...also having issues with piloting. We can use droids, if you're not against that." KB was of course rambling. They could use droids, remote, or even people if they wanted, but it'd be a tight squeeze. No life support very little breathing room.

Sai really wasnt much into building robotics, she only used metalic limbs as she bore a guanlet herself to replace her arm lost. She just glanced at the computer and nodded. She was actually thinking of what she can eat she was starving. and not just for food. the Blood she licked form her fingers awoken her hungry once again. She sighed slightly.

" interesting...hopefully it will do us good in the fight..."

"I think that given the correct range, one of these could take out about...perhaps 2-3 Damiens....If not more." It was of course a rough estimate. Given the repeating fire of the main energy cannons it would be doubtful any target got close enough to go physical and be torn apart or impaled by the legs. The other main weapon would disable electronics if fully charged, and the two heavy plasma weapons were sufficient to meltdown the bases of most free-standing structures. That was of course neglecting the payload of guided rockets, and negating the fact that KB might be installing under-belly dual machine guns. The shielding for each unit was nonexistant however, so they'd rely primarily on armor.

" everything has their weaknesses and strengths, dont underestimate Damien...heritage fought him at Stage one, hes at his final stage...and if i was correct..i felt that creature with quite the scar..."

She just rside glanced him once and rolled her eyes away as she stepped off, and headed towards the doors. Nothing else was said as she exited and dissappeared into the hallways.

Muttering something, KB grasped a panel and tore it open. The damned guidance systems for the rockets hadn't been checked in awhile. As usual, he'd have to re-check everything and see if they were still up to par.

That was of course the least of his worries. Having decided on using a computer-controlled system for piloting, there was the real danger of either EMP use or one trying to control them. By using a HDD he could effectively wipe out the latter worry, but that would have the units running on their own pre-determined orders without the benefits of a connection to home base.

Tapping his metal head with his metal finger made a gentle, "tink tink tink" sound, which didn't seem to bother him. Having came to a solution, he wondered about tearing apart some programs he had laying about. After all, he could dig through his warehouse and pull out the copies he had of his old AI program. She'd been a failure, but if he could cut back on the personality sectors he'd have at least rudimentry thinking soldiers. He could essentially set up a hive-mind style amongst the droids, and that would easily suffice to handle nearly any situation.

Tegral's energy output and heat signature would be visible long before Tegral himself actually came into visual range, that is if Sairys had the capabilities to track his movements via high energy relay stations. His stealth equipment was top notch, capable of avoiding anything short of a highly concentrated ionic locator beam. Luckily, or unluckily, for the Emerald Tower he had chosen to forgo the use of such a cleverly designed weapon and settled more on sheer brute strength, which was more his style.

His plasma cannon was red lineing, meaning he was essentially a walking bomb that made nukes look like little sparkles in comparison. His SLMs had a maximun effective range of about six hundred yards, because of the forest it limited that range to direct line of sight...but that didn't limit his sonic cannon.

Adjusting the weapon mode he settled for what amounted to an invisible sniper. It fired a single object, no larger then the size of a b.b, but used super high frequency harmonics to push the air infront of the b.b type projectile away while it used lower frequency harmonics to suck the displaced air behind the b.b, causing a vacuum effect. The projectile would then move into the vacuum made by the displaced air and the cycle would start over again. The projectile, gaining in speed as it traveled, eventually outranged the harmonic producing sonic cannon, but it had already accumulated enough volocity that it punched through the trees, bushes, and even animals like hot knife through warm butter.

Leveling his left arm with his shoulder he fired. There was no recoil, no blast, and no visible effect. The only sort of visible effect was when a tree's trunk, almost twenty feet infront of the cyborg, exploded in a hail of tree bark and leaves. As mentioned earlier this little projectile would only increase in volocity for a total of two hundred meters before it would begin to decrease in speed.

All this occured and Tegral had failed to slow his pace a single step.

Tegral's weaponry was impressive, if not completely unnoticed by KB for the obvious reason that he was much too far out of range to notice. That, and even if he had, Tegral wouldn't warrant removing his attention from the project at hand. If only he had his own lab, then perhaps he'd have finished by now. Indeed, with multiple bodies at work he could've been getting much more done, but being confined to the one body meant he had to take one task at a time.

"Damn robot..." He grumbled, in regards to his shell. If only it were biological, things would be much simpler. Though given the fact that KB had the body as a gift, he couldn't really complain too much. After all, Sai was being quite gracious in lending her enemy a body to use.

The minor bumps aside, things were still progressing extremely well. The unit had some blind spots and the occasional spot that it couldn't reach via weaponry, but with the support of other units of it's kind it wouldn't be a problem. Given their armored nature, they could use the machine guns to tear a threat off each other without doing damage, and use their energy weapons to hit more distant targets. The rockets however once properly checked, would only function as moderate-range weapons. Under the maelstrom of fire that would undoubtly occur before the firing of many of the unit, any aerial unit not properly armored would be sure to meet a near instant death.

Of course, this meant that any high-flying targets would be out of reach, and the low flying units would have a chance to make at least one burst of shots or volley of rockets before being destroyed. The units could in theory supress rocket fire with their own rockets, given that each pod that slid up would hold and fire a hefty payload. As KB worked on the unit further, he began to see more things that demanded attention. The use of ballistics meant that ammo would be needed and stored within the unit, which meant it needed to be in a section that was at least protected from the heat of the energy weapons. The same applied to the machine guns and their ammunition.

Probably the biggest heat issue about the energy weapons would be their condensed area. If all weapons fired under continual use, the unit could essentially burn itself up, causing it's center to become a molten core. That, and the fact that after or during use of the weapons they'd be incredibly easy to spot with thermal devices. Even without using the energy weapons, the units gave off an impressive signal. No matter, once the units had been deployed in force they'd crush everything that opposed them, even if they did see them coming. Soon KB would have them mass-prodused, and then have them act as key enforcers at both the BC and across his many other off-world outposts.

Slapping on a shield to block most forms of magic wouldn't be too hard, but would increase the size of the units to some degree. Though, the swarming style they'd be showing would stop most casters dead in their tracks anyhow. The ideals of cost and materials were lost however, since KB worked in ways that wouldn't be confined to the immediate region. After all, many swayed before his might in return for favors, others seeking knowledge.

Nearly any being in the BC would find that beyond the walls of the immediate region the universe was vast and begging for just a touch of them. KB was just arrogant enough to bask in such attention, building up quite a substantial trade ring as well as reputation. Though KB couldn't call upon a battle arc to destroy the planet, or enlist the aid of an entire fleet, or bring about an army that would occupy a planet, he could build what he needed and amass what forces he'd need to come knocking on the BC's doors, given enough time. When he finished, he'd simply sell or trade the units, or their design. After all, it seemed no one was in a rush to stop devious minds from fulfilling their plans, something KB planned to take full advantage of.

Anything from the Dojo to her tower and the grounds around it, Sai has under her watch. Since Tegral left the Dojo and headed towards her tower, he has been sensored by her devices, she had planted. One of her made workers surveyed the screens as Tegral closed in. Sai had several of her creatures lurking in the forest around the tower hidden in the slits of time, frozen in alchemy spells till they are relased to protect the tower.

A red flashing light lite up as Tegral's little attempt of an attack neared the tower. the guard's hand flared as a green pentacle opened serval yards from the tower and a Creature pulled its way out of the slit, and dashed towards the attack. Traveling at top speed the beast snarled ready to take the hit.

The velocity in which the projectile was traveling could, and would, punch through a solid brick of steel, what ever Sairys was throwing infront of it had better be able to withstand that sort of force. Other wise the rail B.B was going to slice right through the creature and continue on towards the Emeral Tower. Even if the B.B failed to puncture the beast's body the impact alone would do enough damage, since the rail B.B had been traveling long enough and had gained enough speed, to transmit the kinetic energy of it's momentum through the beast's body, scrambling it's insides or even project all it's force straight through and blow the creature's back open.

The creature was designed to manipulate and create a counter attack, to whatever is being thrown at him. Its Tail slow began retracting itself as it was being dragged into its body, slowly, as it soon appeared like a snake coming out of its mouth. dashing onto the attack, the tail opened the tip, grabbing ahold of hold of the B.B, as it was forced though its body, the tail extracted as a tail agains only in attempt to stop the attack or at least slow it down, before it hits the Tower. The Energy that the beast has, was used to contract the B.B as it scroched through its body and through its tail. the creature dropping to the ground a massive of red and black goo, poured out of its body as the B.B ripped all of its insides, but at a cost to send it back at the sender. Panting heavily the creature slowly dropped to the ground.

Sai however was informed of the intruder's attack, as she and a creature walked out of the tower to greet this being, who was attacking. She waited patiently, as her fingers curled up, causing her guanlet to flare up.

The small projectile would not be detered. Yes it had lost a lot of momentum against the creature's energy and torso, but it still retained enough of it's force to punch a good sized hole through the Emerald Tower. Origionally it was an almost invisible attack, the only thing seen was the tiny projectile flying as super sonic speeds, but now, because it had been slowed, the foot thick in diameter orb of displaced air, it could be seen.

Tegral hadn't stopped his trek through the forest, the plasmic flames from his over charged cannon that replaced his right arm curled against the ozone of the planet. The plants wilted and died around him, some even catching fire. He had just entered visible range of the tower, meaning that Sairys and her little drone pet could see him, plain as day, glowing against the dark green of the forest's back drop.

A coiled grin crept on her lips as Tegral came into View. her Gaunlet flaring in a bright blue Light, as she waited. She waited as the orb was nothing but a few feet away from where she stood. She nodded as the beast dashed towards the orb, and leaped only to dogde it, stiring the air, as Sai swung her gaunlet as it whislted, though. She grabbed the air and as if she pulled the air as a curtian, as a penatcle appeared before Tegral. a portal opened as the dispaced Air she stirred, pushed through the portal, at a great Speed, enough that the trees bent to kiss the ground, to push Tegral back away from the tower, as defensive attack.

Sai merely stepped ot the side allowing the B.B to hit the tower. the tower was built to withstand great attacks. it would of course cause a nice hole, but none to be of great concern.

Tegral's mechanized feet burrowed into the ground, sliding backwards as he leaned into the sudden force of air. The growl that escaped his lips was neither human nor beastly, but a mixture of mechanical strength and human rage. Ripping his feet out of the ground, he was burried down to his ankles, Tegral started forward towards Sairys, his weapon systems shutting off one by one. All, that is, except his plasma cannon which remained flat up against the red line.

Amplified by the speaker in his right arm, which was strong enough to project violant waves of sonic disruption, Tegral's voice came out loud and clear even at the distance between the two.

"You said you can help me, what did you mean by that?" His voice, metalic and cold, held but a hint of rage. Rage at being forced to retreat when he was winning a battle. Rage that he couldn't finish off that moron Draeken once and for all. Rage at being denied Mastema's head on a steak!

The B.B was long forgotton by Tegral. It had already slammed into the Emerald Tower, the displaced air slamming a two food in radius hole through the side, and exited the other end, punching another two foot hole and just kept going.

Sai held the portal open as it was restraining him from moving forward. The creature appeared once again at her side, as it was hunched on all fours growling waiting for Sai's command.

" My offer is unlimited, but due to your pleasent welcome present...I beg to wonder why you would, attack someone who if offering to help you.."

Sai slowly turned her gualet in a circle, as the portal graduatly opened forcing more Air upon him, as the poratl glowed a bright green, with a romanian spell written on the portal.

Tegral's body refused to budge another inch, whether it was backwards or forward. Lifting his right arm up, the cannon's plasmic might blareing against the wind, Tegral shouted, "A test."

((Wow, super short post ><))
