Pastela continued to stay close to him though, being careful not to trip him as they walked. She smiled a little and nodded. "Alright... thank you Woobie...." She looked up at him and gave him a very sweet and grateful smile. She had changed a bit since they'd last met, for certain she had calmed down a lot since her hyperactive child-hood, but she was still sweet as sugar when it came down to it.

"You are welcome. I'm glad I found someone to rediscover the Isle with." He smiled at the girl and kept walking. They soon came to a ravine. "Whoa, this is new." It was huge and looked like it came from the stream that used to be there.

The idea of using seaweed didn't sound like a good one to Aysu, but maybe there was some way to make it work. Perhaps they could dry out the seaweed or something. "Alright." With a grin, Aysu headed back out to the water and dove in, heading further into the water to get some of the seaweed that hadn't been trampled on quite as much. (Though, admittedly, not much of it was flattened at all. Aysu just wanted the best seaweed.)

When she found the right amount of seaweed for them to make a necklace for her and a necklace for Noel, the naiad swam back to the surface and, after a moment, walked back over to Noel with the seaweed. Aysu knit her brows. Deciding it wasn't a good idea to put the seaweed in the sands, the naiad then swiped a large leaf off some foliage and set the seaweed down on that. "There we go!" Aysu then sat herself back down next to Noel and resumed sorting out all of the shells and rocks she had picked out of the water earlier.

Though the ocean was no doubt prettier, all the pain he had gotten from going in the salty water of the ocean was quickly making him go back to the idea that the ocean was clearly toxic, and that it should be avoided at all costs. Plus, what if his skin began to become dried out from the air? Then his only option would be the sea water, and that would just make the problem even worse. ...Stupid dolphin.

"I don't think there's any way to fix it," replied Zuri, sighing. "I mean, it's partially in the water. If you ask me, they'll just have to physically move it." Hopefully not to the pretty beach, but Zuri wasn't a common customer of the bar anyway. He wouldn't be surprised if they packed up and shipped off to that annoying salty place, especially since it was a much better view. The naiad seemed a bit miserable, but that was mostly because he itched so much. What an annoying feeling that burning itch was...

Waikiki KiKi nodded. "Yeah, I guess they will. I'm sure with as many of us as there is we can fly it somewhere." There were many winged ones around and in her family. It seemed like the best idea she could think of. It would be up to her great grandpa in the end.

"Probably. If there weren't enough of you to lift it yourselves, I'm sure there's people around who would be willing to help." A Tiki Bar was a rather large thing to move. Still, if the winds had managed to knock it so far that it was in the water, maybe it wouldn't be so hard to haul to another location, especially if they weren't going all that far with it.

Zuri Seabrook got excited when he thought he saw the sands of the Pae'Kippu Beach in the distance. The sooner he could get himself in the fresh water again, the better. If it didn't seem to help, then he would go to the Healing Place--whatever it was called--but for now, Zuri was primarily concerned with getting his feet into some fresh water again. The naiad's walking finally became a little faster as he tried to pick up the pace towards the water he was beginning to see.

Noel continued to work on the holes, the rocks didn't work. "Maybe we could tie them on or something..." She muttered to herself. Her blades were sharp and strong just not strong enough to break rocks.

She smiled at Aysu when she came over. "They are very pretty. I'm not sure about seaweed, but what if we braided it?" That way it would be stronger. Noel shrugged, "We'll have to see after it dries, I guess."

Just a strand of seaweed would be far too flimsy, but braiding it was definitely a good idea. Aysu nodded in agreement, picking up a few strands of seaweed. The naiad observed them closely to see if she could think it would work; once agreeing that it could once it dried, Aysu set the seaweed back on the large leaf. It would be much easier to work with when it wasn't so slippery.

"Do you want me to get another leaf for the shells and the rocks?" It would certainly give an easier way to carry it all. Obviously, because of the seaweed being very damp, there was no way they could fully make the necklaces now. Assuming the answer was yes, Aysu got up but wouldn't move to get a leaf until Noel agreed it was a good idea.

"Yeah, we could take it all... into the shade." She wanted to say home, but she didn't have one of those anymore. She gathered up everything ready to place it in the leaves she brought. "We could make the leafs into bags for carrying.

"We could take it back to my place so we know it won't go anywhere," offered Aysu. Unlike Noel, she still had her place, and she did say that her house was also Noel's house. "Plus, then maybe we can place this seaweed near some kind of heat." Like the fireplace. If they put the seaweed close enough to the fireplace, perhaps it would dry out a little faster and they could work on these necklaces a little sooner than if they just left them in the shade.

The naiad set the shells and smooth rocks on a leaf before folding it up so it could be carried in a way similar to a bag. She then moved on to do something similar to the leaf with the seaweed, before picking up both 'leaf-bags' up. "There we go! Well, you ready to go back?" Aysu turned back and grinned, before heading off, assuming Noel would follow. After all, they were heading to what was their house for the moment.

Waikiki KiKi agreed with a head shake. There were a lot of them and Jazz's power was floating things, not sure how big, but that would have to help them out.

When she saw the water and beach she tried to see the bar and the family. They were still too far down to see it. She figured it would be okay if she stayed with Zuri for a bit longer. She wanted to make sure the water worked or else she find the Houses of Healing with him.

Zuri kept himself quiet now, more focused on getting back to the water. He eventually actually let go of Waikiki Kiki's hand and ran out to the water, ignoring the itchiness and burning in favor of getting into some water he liked. The naiad breezed by Kiki's family and then dived into the lake, all too happy to get back to the lake that always had and always would be his home. The fresh water instantly felt better. Though the hives weren't exactly fading, he did seem to be more comfortable.

"Aaah..." The naiad floated on the surface of the water, closing his eyes. This was better. Fresh water, unlike salt water, wasn't some kind of toxic hive-causing poison that would eventually destroy his skin if he remained there. "This is better. The ocean's pretty, but it was really hurting," the naiad shook his head. At least the reaction wouldn't get any worse now that he was in the fresh water again. "I'd rather be here in the lake." The ocean's beach would be nice to visit sometimes, but after that adventure, he didn't think he wanted to make a habit of going out there.

Faroth kept his arms crossed tightly in front of him. "I'm not afraid of you. And if I'm not afraid, why should I answer?"

"We could fix that," Kane smirked devilishly. "How about I hang him upside down from a tree for a while by his...tail? He's got a tail right...?" He looked the kid over for a second. "If not, a hoof or something. Either works."

The child glared at Kane for a moment. "You're a bully."

"You're a bratty pain in the a**." The demon shot him a fangy grin.

Faroth stuck out his tongue. Then proceeded to ignore Kane for the time being. Adults were all the same...dumb. It just varied from adult to adult as to the different types of dumb.

Looking back at Texas, he gave the demon an exasperated look. "Fine. You want answers? I dunno if I got any, but if it'll get ya' off my back. Me? I'm Faroth, told ya' that already. I dunno what else ya' wanna' know. And that? Looks like an acorn to me. Far as I can tell, probably the biggest one in all the world...and funny colored. 'S why I stared at ya' funny, 'k?" He planted his hands on the ground and leaned back, tilting his head to look at Texas. Would that be good enough? Would they be convinced he was just a dumb kid?

Awww...Melek wanted to see what the shiny thing was that all the ladies were looking at...but...he shrugged and took his daddy's hand, following Aspen to go see what all the other Pae were staring at. Maybe it was something shiny and interesting as well.

Distracted, Takeko decided that catching up with her son's friend would have to wait until later. The odd object Ivy directed her attention to seemed to be an acorn...except it was enormous and strangely colored! Granted, Takeko's ability allowed her to identify any sort of plant life and its beneficial uses on sight alone, but as she stared at the acorn...she drew a blank. She couldn't recall anything like that ever happening before, but there was just...nothing. Had her ability ceased to work at all?

Worried, she turned her attention aside, scanning nearby flora with her eyes. Various uses for cooking, seasoning, and medicine floated in and out of her mind as her eyes tracked and she sighed in relief. She loved her ability and it had come in handy many times in her life. She didn't want to lose it.

Sadly, she looked back to the other women and shook her head. "I'm sorry, but...I'm not getting anything from this. You're sure it's an acorn?"

Saffron balked, feeling horrible for startling the poor girl further. Still, his initial response was to rush over and offer to help her...and something told him that in this instance, that would only make things worse. So he awkwardly held his ground, frowning. "I'm sorry...I didn't mean to startle you like that. I tried to wait to change back...I...I didn't know anyone would be around earlier when I decided to shift. Thought maybe the plant life might know something about what was going on, but...seems they're still not too talkative, at least not to me," he chuckled, rubbing his neck awkwardly.

Devyn stooped, splashing water from the cool, flowing stream over his face. He felt like he'd slept for a week; he felt tired, groggy, and...'thirsty.' Unfortunately, the water was much help for that particular thirst. Still, it hadn't been that long since he'd last fed, had it? Only a day or so, he thought.

Sighing wearily, the demonic teen sat back, resting his arm on his knee. It wasn't just the 'thirst' that was bothering him. Something felt...'weird' for lack of a better word. But what that was...

He froze, whirling around at the sound of a snapping twig. Someone else was out here...coming this way. He'd almost let them sneak up on him; he must be more out of it than he thought. He took a slow, deep, calming breath, collecting his composure. His 'thirst' wasn't bad enough yet to make trouble...only a nuisance, but he could control it for now.

Finally deciding it was best to announce his presence as well as show that he wasn't oblivious of his surroundings, he called out in a steady voice, "Someone there?"

Alaera let Ivy take the acorn from her and examine it carefully as she turned her attention to the female that approached. She seemed familiar but couldn't place the woman until Kane's named was mentioned and couldn't stop the smirk that crossed her face at the memory of him. Friend? She wasn't sure if he would consider his food a friend but chuckling she nodded and agreed with the woman. "Well, I do know Kane at least and I remember meeting you at the healing house, but I'm afraid I don't quite remember your name?" she was about to admit when Ivy filled in the blank for her. "Oh yes Takeko. Sorry"

Alaera shrugged. "I dunno. Found it under a tree and it looked acornish enough then."

A sudden thought occurred to her.

"Hey! You know the last time I found something strange on the island, it turned out to be Naiad egg. 'Spose this is like a special squirrel egg or something? Try shaking it see if it sounds like there's anything inside?!?"

{{ So sorry Teig, totally didn't see that post at all, didn't mean to ignore you!}}

Hula Bob's hug did make Sally feel a bit better at least and so she wrapped her arm around him and give him a half hug back hoping it would do the same for her. She pondered their predicament for a moment when inspiration hit.

Beaming broadly she turned to him and exclaimed "I know! You see I have the ability to teleport from pumpkin patch to patch so what we could do is make arrangements to have the bar transported somehow to the new beach ( sorry I don't think I can teleport something that big, maybe someone else could though ) and then I can teleport both of us to a patch that'd I'd plant near the new beach and then you wouldn't have to leave the beach at all!!" She finished rather breathless as she had said it a bit fast all in one sentence.

Lhiannan heard a strange voice call and she headed towards it, still feeling weak, her vision starting to clear up but not by much. Everything just appeared as vague shapes and colors. As far as she was concerned the world was still all wrong as she stumbled forward. That, and she was becoming aware again of that 'thing' which lived inside her. Great. Just what she needed know of all things.

"Oh bloody hell" she cursed loudly as she felt her foot being enveloped by cold wetness as she must have stepped into the source of running water she'd heard earlier. "Water, always water. Curses." One thing hadn't changed despite the fuzzy headache - she knew she despised water. The irony that she lived in a dried up well had never occurred to her.

In an even more foul mood then before, she flung her hands to her hips to demand "Alright. Whoever's there come out already and stop playing hide and seek."

"Really?" Esmée stuck her hands in her hair and wiggled them around, soon realizing that her normally wavy hair had become a little poofier and curlier than usual. How strange; she had never noticed that before. Of course, the air had never been this damp, apparently, from what Fernand appeared to imply.

"I guess you're right. Wonder why... And how did the sun get farther away? That doesn't seem logical." The angelic had always been a very logical person, and the idea that the sun could shrink away so suddenly did not fit in with her world of logic.

"So the sun is further away?" queried Fernand, glancing back up at the sky now that his sight was beginning to come back. "That is mighty strange, Esmée, especially since the sun should be appearing closer at this time of year."

"Especially since it's almost summer..." muttered the intellectual to her penguin familiar, before turning to Bneut. "This is unusual. Let's keep our eyes out for anything else strange."

"Something might have happened while we were sleeping last night?" Bneut suggested, shielding Fernand's eyes from the sun when he looked up.

"We don't need two blind and a deaf wandering around." The demonic chuckled lightly, looking back at Esmee, he didn't want to miss anything she might say.

"Ok, maybe you'll get answers about the cave?" She hoped so. She also hoped her Mother and Aysu was ok. She was worried, but knew deep down that they had to be ok. Cinna looked at Leitha, "Very goregous!"

"Perhaps..." His voice was cold, though he was fairly sure none would know why the cave was so ruined. Perhaps the elder fae might, but he was betting that those in the HQ didn't.

She waited until Cinna was looking away, rolling her eyes and adopting the face once more. "Lets go.." She stated, dragging Cinna off by the tail, not waiting for the angelic to come. He'd come on his own anyway.

It wasn't long before she had to take the acorn out of her hair, it seemed to get bigger as they walked, and Leitha now had to carry it. For some reason she couldn't get rid of the thing though. With a grunt she looked around for something to drag it along with her or something.

"Cinna, do you have string or something?"
