Alisha's neck suddenly felt warm. She put a hand over it and looked backwards.
Fire? Who is that man standing behind the flames? A teacher? She noticed the other students around her ducking and moving away.
Hot metal does hurt. she thought, as one of the high seating spots bent so far it broke.
Getting my books from under here with be a bother, I do hope they aren't burnt or otherwise messed up. She stood, stepped up to the seat below hers, and took a few hops off of the bleachers. Too preoccupied with what the fire was doing to warp the bleachers, she had missed Glitch's shout. She was ignoring the events in the course, more interested in the fire and the new person that was closer.
Holding her notepad and pencil tightly, she just stared at the fire, trying to figure out where it came from.
Why is he dressed like that? A one-piece outfit decorated in flames, a belt, a cape,
even matching gloves and boots. Such odd apparel. Is this a joke, or some comic character dress up with some fire prop? She took a step back, noticed an odd shadow on the bleachers and looked up.
That... wing... girl... She-she is, flying? she fell backwards, landing on her butt and hands, her notepad and pencil discarded at her side.
