Elysia snapped her fingers again, another explosion from the street made some apartment lights turn on.
"Drink from one of us, K'van!" she snapped harshly. "I can't keep doing this until the whole of Central is gone!"

his fangs grew, and he bit her neck. Elysia gasped, then moaned in pleasure. she paled a little, and K'van started to convulse. he twisted and turned, and a tangible burst of energy flew out from him. he got up.
walking to the window, he said "hit a shaped charge at my back. trust me"

Tomiko pulled out another knife ready and clashed it with the first one and create a spark "he wont let me try the gloves" she whined "w-whats a shaped charge?"

Elysia winced at the drop of her strength. The gloves had never done that to her before.
"They're known in the Mustang family," said Elysia to Tomiko. "Roy probably wouldn't let you have them, sadly..."
