"Alright!" He happily followed her into the house feeling alot better than before.
Toshi watched the exchange wondering how Thena would react to cat demons being near her. He hoped it didn't cause problems... that little cat-boy didn't look like he could handle having someone dislike him.

::she freezes, mid pour:: t....tiger? :;repeated softly, her face, if possible, even paler than before:: a t...tiger? ::she goes ridgid suddenly as her instincts yell at her that predators had just entered the house:: a... and a cat? :;sqeaked, dropping the bowl as she spins to face them, backing away qucikly, knocking things over in her fright. her wings flare a bit, as though preparing for flight, but there's no where to go, as she sees when she looks around franticly::

Kira smiled and followed him into the house, looking up at the new half demon and Toshi. "Hey guys, what do you want for dinner?" She then noticed the girl's reaction. "Why are you so frightened bird girl?" There had been many bird demons that had come throught the village so it was normal.

He grinned at Maralah and Toshi in greeting as he stared at Thena in curiosity.. having never seen anything like her before. "What IS she?? She's pretty." Simple and child-like statement.. showing how young he really thought.
Toshi smiled at the two "Hey guys.. uhh Thena calm down. They wont eat you!"

:;she didn't hear Toshi, all she could think was that she was caged in, with two CATS advancing on her! her wings hit the far wall and she realizes she'd been backed into a corner:: foxes... wolves... humans... i can deal with ::sqeaked, closing her emerald eyes and sliding down to her knees:: anything but... c...cats.... ::and she falls the rest of the way to the ground in a dead faint::

Kira's eyes went large as she rushed forward and caught Thena. "I'm taking her to a bed mom." Maralah nodded and watched as Kira took Thena out of the room and to the bunks. She laid her down on one of the beds asnd then got a water basin and dabbed at Thena's head with a cloth.

He shook his head.. he tried to tell her. He turned to Haiiro and smiled "Don't worry about her.. normally birds and cats don't get along well."
Haiiro sniffed as Kira brought the bird girl into the bedroom "She hates me cause I'm a cat?" In one sweep his depression came crashing back and all he wanted was his mom there to tell him everything was ok... and that he was a good creature!

She left off tending to Thena and then went to hug Haiiro. "Hey, don't worry too much about it. She'll probably be okay later, she just needs to get to know us. She's just afraid is all, that's how it is around here. They just don't know if we are good or not."

"Ok... I don't want her to be afraid of me. I'm not scary!" He looked at her with teary eyes... things like this really seemed to bother him and it made one wonder just how sheltered his parents kept him??

She continued to hug him. "Don't worry, I'm sure she'll like you once she gets the chance to meet you. Who could be scared of you? I mean really." she said, chuckling and rubbing his back. She knew from her mother that it was calming to have your back rubbed.

She shook her head. "It doesn't really annoy me, kind of refreshing to find someone who can cry, unlike most of these guys."

::she wakes up slowly, alone in the room and stares blankly at the ciling for a few moments as she tries to puzzle through where she was and what had happened. memories come back to her slowly enough for her to peice together the fact that the tiger wasn't going to hurt her, and the foxes more than likely wouldn't let the cat hurt her.... still slighlty nervous, she slips out of the bed and heads toward the sound of voices, peeking into the kitchen, she says shyly:: excuse me... i... i'm sorry for my behavior...

She turned and smiled when she saw Thena. "You're awake! I'm so glad. It's alright, we felines just sort of jumped in on you, I can understand your fear. Had a few bird children in this village, traveling of course, and they had reactions like that, though they were out in the open." she said, tilting her head.
He shook his head. "Horse hair and hide is much too valuable to just let you go." he said. He then made a signal with his fingers and the men who had been twirling their nets launched them at the girl. He still couldn't see how she could prefer death over losing her tail.
