It sucks. We get Friday through Monday off, but my duty rotation fell such that I have duty on both Friday and Monday. It's lame as hell. I have Saturday and Sunday off, which is always good. We SHOULD have duty section only, where we have no work days, but that was asking too much to want to spend time at home right before surge.
When I drive home, I play the Lynwood album, and sing to every single song! I enjoy it immensely!

So let me get this straight: You have the days off but have to go to work?
I had to keep the door to the workroom closed all day today because I was singing the songs all day. Kept me smiling at least!

It's Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Those are our workdays currently. Last time, it was duty section only. For some reason, if we don't do working days, we'll become stupid and even more untrustworthy.
A little over 2 weeks ago, some people were painting a hallway. I just sat in my chair and sang to them until the old man choke slammed me. Then I sang some more!!!

...or maybe you would get more rested and feel better about the times you actually have to do work!
I would have been singing along with you! We could have done the songs in two-part harmony!

That's right, we can't have rest and feel refreshed. That's asking for too much.
And that would sound awesome! The old man would go insane! lol

The people in charge really don't think much, do they?
Someday I really do want to hear you sing! I'm totally curious what your voice sounds like! lol

The old man I'm referring to is my friend, who's 27. Since he's older than a lot of the people here, I at least call him old man. He is kind of a pansy though; can't hold down Jack when super sloppy drunk.
I'm curious too. I hear myself as I sing, but it's completely different when heard from a recording or video or something. At least it sounds that way to me.

Now I am NEVER telling you how old I am! crying
I don't know what my alcohol tolerance is. I'm too nervous about what I would do if I drank too much!
The first time I heard my voice recorded I cried! I wanted to know if I really sounded that horrible! Turns out that I really do have a very nice voice, but everyone's voice loses something when recorded unless special equipment is used.

Wait, what? Don't feel sad! I only call HIM old. It doesn't help him that his hairline's receding! And I wasn't going to ask you how old you were! I swear! I thought girls would be touchy on that, so I never asked. And I would never call you old!
