Jillian sighed and then sat down by a tree and closed her eyes.

Gray growled a little but when he said that he could give her what she dreamed " because I don't really like you " she then said and folded her arms.

Kristofer smiled widely. She had said she loved him. She loved HIM. He must have looked very stupid at that moment but he couldnt help not to smile. "I like being your servant my lady"

Artemis tilted her head to the side, trying to understand. "Tree fairies have no motives. We act on our emotions", she said and smiled gently at him. "I love humans so I stay here. I lov...care about you so I stay right here with you and I agreed to help you", she said.

"A lot of things. Anger. Anxiety. Fear. Its like a defensive mechanish. Its will switch on every time I might be in danger". he explained. "But, really there is no use warrying about me, ok princess?"

"You can rest. I will carry you and try to find the second team", he said and lifted her up in his arms like a bride. He started to run but his movements were so smooth that she could easily sleep if she wanted to .

"Why are you asking me this? Its not polite", she said, avoiding his question. "I could say a million things but would you believe them?", she asked him.

"So you do have friends", he said and his voice was filled with sadness. "Then you are giong to be in safe arms", he said. "You can do as you like"

Kriatofer started humming a song as he run through the forest. He didnt stop ir rest and when he caught the scent of humans and other magical creature he forced himself to run even faster. He would do anything for her and her happiness. Anything to keep her safe. After hours of running he came upon a camp. The second team? He hoped they were. He slowed down to a walk and walk in the camp with Fade still in his arms. He was feeling drained and exhausted. How long have he been running? One day at high speed. As fast as he could and now he could barely stand up. He looked around. He didnt trust anyone there. How could he? In the end he didnt know them and he always hated humans. But for her, for her he would do anything. "Someone....", he looked around, desperatly. His breathing was fast and panting.

"You wish to know things that can only hurt you", she said and she took a deep breath. "When I lost my tree, i thought I was going to die. Really, it was the most terrfying and painfull memory I have. We need our tree to live. But then I saw you. I always whatched you when you passed me by, when I still had my tree. I was happy I could stay with the humans and especially with you"

"Your funeral", he said. "I am not a good friend. You should know that in advance so when I end up hurting you, dont run away crying ok?"

Kristofer looked at the woman. "Can we stay here?", he asked her, trying to sound polite. "We won't cause you any trouble. We are just looking for seltter. Nothing more", he said. He seemed ready to collapse. His throat burned from his hunger, but he could still keep it under control. "And I need to talk with your leader", he said, his tone suddendly more cold and distant.

Kristofer held Fade tightly. "No. I am fine. I will hold her", he said and took a step away from the woman. Noone would touch Fade if he could do something about it. "Can you go and bring that Victoria here?", he asked, not sure if he could walk another step.

Kristofer that they would have to answer this question soom enough. "We are runaways", he said. "Thats all you need to know right now and I assure you that we mean you all no harm", he said.
