Ania went to go open the oven to put the cookies in, when a swarm of bees flew out and started buzzing all about her. Ania fell back screaming and throwing her arms about trying to bat them away. she got up and dashed for the door, she threw it open and ran to the bathroom, slamming the door behind her. she seamed to have outrun the swarm and she put a towel at the bottom of the door to prevent the bees from getting to her. Cortez and Lucid looked alarmed from Ania running through screaming and Lucid dropped a plate. Cortez chased after her. "I think she is having another episode!" he shouted to Kaosti.

"no, the bees. they want to get in my hair" Ania said sounding panicked and she locked the door. "i can hear them they are right outside, buzzing so loudly." she pulled her hands over her ears and sunk to the floor.

Cortez turned to Vaine "Its Ania, i think she is Schizophrenic, let Kaosti deal with it. she seams to like him." Cortez seamed calm and went back downstairs to finish setting the table.
Lucid was cleaning up the broken plate.

Asillin stood at the bottom of the stairs and looked up at Vaine.

Lucid laughed at Hiro's frustration as he dumped the broken dish in the garbage. "Kaosti is the real cook around here, i think he gets it from his grandfather."

Ania couldnt hear him, but once he warped himself into the bathroom she clung to his feet. "make it go away please" she cried into his knees.

Ania started to sob "im so sorry. you have saved me from myself three times now, and i haven't been able to do anything for you." she held him close feeling helpless to do anything else.

Lucid looked intrigued "did you use to live with Kaos?" then as he thought of Kaos' face he realized that Hiro looked very much like him. "are you his son?"
Lucid felt kind of stupid for not noticing it earlier.

Lucid nodded in acknowledgment "yes Ailes is a nice girl. but very emotional. i had no idea Akuma had a brother, i dont think she ever mentioned it. Have you ever been introduced to Kaosti? i think he used to hang with Vaine." Lucid paused for a moment, "im sorry sometimes my mouth runs, I am Lucid Vonmire" he offered his hand to Hiro "welcome"

Ania held Kaosti's hands and looked up at him with a sincere smile "as long as your with me, i can keep smiling."

Ania nodded but didnt take his arm "you go ahead, ill be down in a minute" she said to him shyly

Lucid shook his head, "dont worry about it, Cortez will get it, besides your a guest, no reason for you to do work. why dont you relax in the living room while we get things ready." Lucid directed Hiro to the living room and went back to the dining hall to check on Cortez.

Asillin was in front of the fire place again, and she was spinning a crystal on the floor like a top.

"no im not cold" Asillin replied but took his coat anyways, she set it in her lap and felt the fabric. "when i sleep do i have to wear these clothes?" she asked Vaine.

Ania started to fix her hair, and as she did so she wondered how much longer she would stay in their home. it wasnt that she didnt like them, she just wasnt sure how she felt about them. she liked Cortez, and Lucid was alright but a little distant from her, and Kaosti seemed to care for her, he was there to help her when others couldnt. Ania worried that she may like Kaosti more than he liked her. she hoped that wasnt the case and went down to the dining hall."i have to let him know how i feel, some how." she told herself.

Ania sat in her chair as everything was being laid out. smelling and tasting the aromas that filled the room.


Sybil was changing into her fifth dress, as Ebony rapped on her door. "hurry up Sybil, we are going to be late."
"Well help me with this dress and we can get their sooner." she replied back
Ebony stepped in her room and looked at the mess on the floor, a fourth of the closet was scattered about the room. he sighed, and stepped behind Sybil to help her with her dress. it was a corseted back, so he began tightening the stings. it was red and strapless the skirt was poofy but short, and with her heals on, it made her legs look a foot longer. Ebony then began pulling the curlers out of her hair. they didnt really curl her hair, they just made her curls look tame. cascading curls fell down to her lower back.
"so how do i look?" she asked Ebony. he placed a jeweled pin on both sides of her head to hold the curls out of her face.
"you look delightful" he said and kissed her bare shoulder. she looked pleased and grabbed her purse "Okay, lets go" she announced and stepped out to see Jabez. he was in his usual getup, sometimes she wondered if that armor was a part of him. "ready?" she asked him.
"we were waiting on you" Jabez replied. Sybil just smiled at him as a way to apologize. he grinned and accepted it. Ebony stood next to her and rested his hand on Sybil's shoulder, the three disappeared in to black smoke, and appeared in front of the manor doors. Sybil stepped up and knocked on the door four times.


Cortez answered the door "Im glad you could all make it" he said to them
Jabez nodded, Ebony shook Cortez's hand "its good to see you"
Cortez invited them in and lead them to the dining hall. Sybil waved to the rest of the table party, but before she took her seat, she met Kaosti as he was leaving the kitchen, and greeted him with a hug. "im glad that i can finally see your home."
Ania tensed at the sight of her hugging Kaosti and she gripped her napkin.
she took a seat next to Ebony and left the open seat next to her for Kaosti.
Ania looked down the table to look at Ebony, she noticed that he had similar horns as she did. and she was fascinated that someone else had her horns.
Cortez stood up from his seat at the end of the table "Everyone, i am very pleased to have you all at my dinner table. i know some of you may not know each other, but i hope that after this evening we can all go home having made new friends" he then went on to introduce everyone. Cortez took his seat. "alright, now Kaosti has been ever so kind as to prepare this meal for us, so lets dig in."
