Eric nodded to General Lee ((Dunham, you know General Lee was a confederate general, as well as the name of a kick-a** Dodge Charger, right?)), then turned to Syx.
"I want Jarred to decide what happens to Pen... she left him that right, so it's his to use. Nevermind the fact that he's drowning his grief with bottles of whiskey."
Around then, Lee's PDA/Phone/Toaster/Comm/Butthole Communicator began to chime.

((... Ah crap. I guess I need to find Xeen, then.))

((Yes, I am fully aware, but I needed a quick name and Lee was there. I considered making him Asian, just for kicks.))

Lee glanced down. "If you'll excuse me a minute. I'll need you to come with me shortly, Mr. Chase, but other than that, I believe I'm done here." He stepped to the side, and answered his pager.

((Nah, I still think Asian would be funnier...lol, reminds me of an episode of pushing daisies. ))

Syx rolled her eyes. "I didn't say he was irresponsible. I said he was incapable. There is a difference, Eric. Despite what you think, I do care about Jarred. I'm not trying to pick him apart, I'm trying to help him. If you think it'd be better to let him deal with the body and vengeance or what have you, then fine, but you got to get Pen out of your ship and into a damned proper facility."

"I've been imprisoned, and seemingly kidnapped, or rescued, depending on the answer you refuse to give, on a planet I have never visited before, with a governing system I've never experienced before." Svarly said in a dry voice. "I still find it highly unlikely I'll witness a crime in the bathroom."

She moved back to the shower, turning it back on again, and this time took advantage of it. She dressed in the robe, stepping back out of the room and looking around her.

"I will speak with it in a more official capacity soon." He hung up the line. "Mr. Chase, Ms. ((x)), I appreciate your cooperation in this. Mr. Chase, if you could please stop by the Consul later we can get things sorted out, but I have business to attend. The war, and all." Mr. Lee nodded to the two of them and exited through the stairwell.

This time, it wasn't Dev but a woman dressed in dark blues who waited for her. She was darker of skin, eyes, and hair, a mix of races that would be difficult to sort out. Her fizzy hair was bound in short cornrows. She was directly across from the shower room door in the hallway, leaning heavily against the wall with arms and legs crossed casually.

She winked.

As Syx stood there she got a quick call on her com. She smiled as Gram's image came up. She was good enough friends with her sister's pilot, "What's up, old man? Tu acting up on you?"

Gram kept a sobre face, not even cracking a smile, something unusual for the man. "Tu didn't make it, Syx. She was still on Thesys when things went sour."

Syx chuckled, "nice prank, Gram, I spoke to her earlier. Said she was heading out with you and the crew. She in the back yelling at Spex or what?"

Gram stared at her blankly, "Syx, she never got on this ship, or any other."

Syx paled slightly, "s**t. I'll call you back later, Gram, stay out of trouble." She turned off the com and glanced at Eric. "I've gotta go. I've got to head to Thesys, or somewhere. Damned." She turned around heading towards the exit, running a hand through her curls.
