Watari smiled as she peered into his eyes, they both seemed to have a certain gleam to them. Sana's presence surely made things much easier on him. He was glad she was here. He held her for a moment before walking back to the elder. "I'm ready to begin." Watari said following the elder as he slithered along. He continued to move until he came to a large snake statue. "I want you to pick that up using natural chakra that you gather yourself. The oil won't help you this time."
Watari gulped for a moment at the size of the statue. It was massive! Not only that but he had to gather his own chakra without the help of the snakes oil. He sat down in front of the statue and began meditating again.His exact picturing was him casting a jutsu over and over again, but he relayed the events in reverse to try and outsmart himself to gather instead of project. He remained completely still but was coming along rather well.
He felt himself begin to change again which was quickly proceeded by another bite. Watari didn't flinch, he just continued to sit and meditate to gather chakra. His posture unfaltering he figured he had gathered enough. He rose and walked over to the statue and squeezed his fingers beneath it. He began to lift with all of his might, pushing with everything he had. "Don't lose focus boy!" the snake hissed from behind him. Watari grunted as the statue lifted off of the ground. It wasn't complete but very close. After a long struggle he placed it back down. "Damn it. I need more chakra next time." he said to himself sitting back down and continuing to gather chakra. "Next time for sure hissss." the snake said as he continued to watch the young man. 7/10

Watari scoffed at the elder snakes comment. He continued to remain motionless, gathering a massive amount of natural chakra. Thankfully he had some rather good encouragment as well as a motive to perfect these techniques. After a bit Watari rose again, a determined look in his eyes as the sharingan fixed on statue.
He bent down and stuck his fingers beneath it once more and heaved with every last bit of his strength. "Good kee going. Hissss" the snake said as it rose fully off of the ground and soon Watari held it high above his head. He remained still to gather a bit more energy. He was training himself now in the nature of natural energy as he was lifting an object and gathering energy.
With a colossal push the statue flew high into the air and Watari disappeared. Within moments he appeared next to the statue in mid air and cocked his fist back. He roared as he struck the statue and watched as it crumbled into rubble beneath the sheer force of his blow. He made sure the pieces fell away from Sana and the snake elder as he landed safely back down. "Complete. Nice work kid." the snake elder said shaking his head. "The real fun will start soon. I need to prepare so go converse with your human friend until then." he said as Watari walked back over to Sana. "My lucky charm for sure." he said smiling at her. "Couldn't have done it without your reassurance." 10/10

Sana Okazi Sannin - Slug Sage - Medical Master - Hakubi's Legacy Sana just watched in amazement, his strength was incredible. She closed her mouth, seemingly she noticed it was hanging open. When he walked over to her, she blushed shyly and looked at him..D-Don't be si-silly.. You could've done i-it with or without me..She smiled softly, then brought her hands together and gave him a few claps of happiness. She was very proud of him, he was learning very fast. She looked over to the moping Manda and smiled cutely, then stuck her tongue at him..I told you he could do it!! She yelled at him, making Manda retreat into the darkness once again.

Watari couldn't help but smile, she was so adorable when she blushed. "Of course I couldn't have! You've been very encouraging and I really think that's why I'm excelling." he then looked over towards Manda as well. He chuckled while she taunted him and watched as he receded into the darkness. "Come on now Sana be nice to the big snake." he said laughing himself. Watari still felt rejuvenated by the chakra he took in and felt rather well, further fueling his soaring internal feelings. "I feel like a new man almost." he said laughing as he inched closer to Sana and his arm around her. It seemed hew slowly was trying to draw her closer. Inch....by.....inch

Sana Okazi Sannin - Slug Sage - Medical Master - Hakubi's Legacy Sana watched his arm, then smiled up at him happily. She was glad she could do something for someone, other than heal them..Well, I believe..Her eyes held a strange glow, the eyes of someone who has seen years of wisdom..That if someone has a reason for living and excelling.. That's all someone needs, to keep this world at least a little happier.. Person, by person..She smiled, nodding as she finished her statement. She was pleased with it, though to some people, it would sound little strange. She had a phrase for almost everything, she'd passed her knowledge onto her daughter Aiko.

Watari smiled indeed she was all he really needed at the moment. She gave him this sense of purpose, a reason to stick around. She was right when he first arrived, he was now setting that 'better judgment' aside for the right one. "I can't say I disagree Sana. You've helped me more than you know..." he said trailing off a bit. The snake elder was still nowhere in sight so it gave them some time to talk while he continued preparing. He held her closer to him and her a rather affectionate hug, with a loving embrace. "You know how important to me you are......right?" he asked smiling. His heart began to beat faster and seemed to pulsate from his chest. He hoped she wouldn't feel it cause it just may embarrass him a bit.

Sana Okazi Sannin - Slug Sage - Medical Master - Hakubi's Legacy Sana had never been told why she important to people, the only person who had ever told her that she was important, was Hakubi. Now that she thought about it, not even Qastor had told her why he loved her. She softened her gaze and placed her hands on his back, not questioning his reasons for thinking she was important. She didn't wish to know as of yet, she didn't want to hear what he had to say, in fear of him telling her the same things. She's a good healer, a person that could help others and not wish for something in return, she was a good person. She's heared all the reasons for being important, but never heared what she's wished to hear from anyone else, other than Hakubi..I'm sure..She whispered softly to him, she could feel the beating in his chest, but she's felt it before. From when she could remember, Hakubi's heart beat only for her. She remembered that she's never felt Qastor's heart beat like this, so she could never really interpret why he was with her, other than those words he's repeated. Qastor loved her, then why has his heart never beat like this? Like Hakubi's, like Watari's? She softened her eyes to a mere slit, then bit on her bottom lip. She's only begun to notice these things about her life, was she only good for bearing children?

Watari held her closer, placing his hand on the back of her head and drawing her closer to his chest. He leaned his own head down in order to be more level. He wasn't sure what, but something was telling him that something was wrong. He just wanted to hold her tightly to him and make her feel safe, that there in those arms nothing could hurt her least of all Watari himself. The conflict within her seemed great, but Watari couldn't quite figure out why he could tell this. Maybe some sort of spiritual connection? His heart continued to beat hard as he began to speak. "I don't have a whole lot in this world Sana. Sure I have aquiantances from working missions with others, but the only thing I've really ever had was Mikoto who is like my son." he said his tone a loving one towards both her and when he spoke of his apprentice. "You're important to me because you're you. You don't try to be something you're not because you're an amazing soul all on your own, full of selflessness and good nature. A true pure heart, that's all I've got, and it's worth fighting for to make sure you're safe. My life means nothing without you being a part of it." he said gently kissing her forehead. He had finally exposed some of his true feelings to her. He still had much more to tell her someday however, maybe this was the day. He didn't want to be like the others in her life that seemed to use typical cliche' of why shes important just to keep her happy. Like how Qastor said he loved her, Watari didn't want to just say it, he wanted to show her the deep, dense roots called his love for her that now ensnared the heart she could feel pulsating from his chest.

[Awww~♥] Sana Okazi Sannin - Slug Sage - Medical Master - Hakubi's Legacy Sana just remained silent through everything, letting everything sink into her mind and heart. She could feel that he meant it, every word. She blushed softly and closed her eyes, feeling comfortable in his arms. Her right hand rested on his heart, as if protecting it. She held onto him for a while, then looked up at him and smiled brightly. She was close to him, close enough to feel passion and happiness radiating off of him..Thank you She giggled softly, not really explaining what she was thanking him for, but she was thanking him for everything. Every word and hug he's given her so far, she was truely happy right now. Her love for Qastor was deep, it ran so very deep. But sometimes, she wondered why. She knew that Qastor thought of his former wife, she knew that. She knew she could never compare to Qastor's first love, and because of Sana's first child Tenichi, Qastor had lost everything that reminded him of the first wife he'd held dear to him. Sana's son Tenichi had killed both Qastor's first children, why had Sana created such a monster? Her eyes glowed in happiness, she didn't wish to think of anything bad right now. It Watari was true and sincere, she knew she had to be strong for not only herself, but for him too..Be strong. She was talking to him, but it sounded almost inwardly advised.

He continued his loving embrace for he too was truly happy for the first time in many years, since his childhood. She seemed so conflicted still, and all he wanted for her was to be happy and carefree. Little did she know she didn't create a monster, Tenichi was changed by power it seemed. It wasn't her fault cause he was really no longer her son, at least not the one she knew. "You don't have to thank me Sana. I just want you to be happy." he said softly leaning his face close to hers and holding himself there. His desire to show her just a little bit of his affection was starting to overwhelm him. He wanted to kiss her.

Sana Okazi Sannin - Slug Sage - Medical Master - Hakubi's Legacy Sana smiled softly, knowing that he was trying so hard to make her happy. She was greatful too, she was indeed happy. She pressed her lips to his cheek and looked over as the Elder Snake wandered over and looked at Watari..Thank you, but you should go back to training. You have to be strong, to defeat.. Tenichi..Her son, her first born, her baby. She still loved him, even if her son had turned into a monster. Her purpleish/silver eyes looked at Watari, holding happiness, but having sadness lurk around.

Watari smiled as he felt her press her lips against his cheek. He couldn't help but let that cheesy grin spread across his face. Now he was on cloud 9 and ready to finish up his training but had one thing left to say. "Not just Tenichi, but anyone that would cause harm to you." he said hugging her passionately one last time. He released her gently but it felt as if his heart hovered in the air in front of her. He felt empty away from her. As he turned towards the elder snake who now brought his wife he said something very soft under his breath, difficult for Sana to make out from the distance and lack of volume in his voice. "I love you....Sana." He turned to the elders and they gave him a confused look. "What did you say boy?" they asked as he shook his head and a determined look spread over his face. "Lets do this." he said.
The elder snakes began to crawl up him and wrap themselves under his armpit so their heads would rest on his shoulders. "We're going to practice fusion so you can enter sage mode." they said. Watari nodded as they began to gather natural energy. He sat and remained focused as did they and he slowly began to change. His hair began to grow a couple of inches and become rather ragged while his musculature became more defined and slightly larger. His skin began to grow a pale white and converted to a series of scales. His pupils became slits which made the sharingan appear extremely menacing. He sprouted fangs and his tongue began to fork and flicker.
He sighed after the transformation was complete. He felt good to say the least, natural chakra flowing through him. "Ok now try some of the same excersises as earlier." they said. Watari nodded and vanished as a large statue seemed to explode into the air as he appeared next to it as it fell. He delivered a mighty blow which shattered the statue to bit and seemeed to zigzag his way through the air to continued pummeling the pieces that remained into dust. As he landed debris surrounded him in an almost ominous dust cloud.
"How was that?" Watari asked the elders who seemed to be in shock. "Very well. Now see that point?" he said pointing to a large stone that came to a sharp point at the very tip. "Balance on that usuing only your right index finger." Watari nodded again as he appeared on top of the stone. He was so much faster and felt like a walking tank ion terms of defense. The scales were for more than just show. He placed his finger on the stone and gave a short leap to cause his body to point straight up. He focused a tremendous amount of energy into his finger and focused, Sana returning to this thoughts. His balance was perfect and his bodyu unmoving.
After about 10 minutes the elders told him to stop. "Well it looks like you've got the hang of sage mode with us, but your next task is to do it on your own!" they said un-fusing and crawling back to the ground. Watari turned to face Sana and motioned her to come over. She could be with him during this part since its a solo training operation. "We'll be watchin ya kid!" the elders wife said smiling with a slight happy hiss. 5/5 Fused Sage Mode learned

Sana Okazi Sannin - Slug Sage - Medical Master - Hakubi's Legacy Sana watched him, but her eyes held curiousity, she could've sworn he'd said something to her, but she couldn't make it out..Kay! She walked over to him when he beckoned her over, she stood beside him with a bright smile on her face. She'd just seen him start the beginning of Sage mode, she was very proud of him.

Watari grew happier and more focused after Sana had arrived. He smiled and began to gather natural energy once more. He figured he would need a good training partner so he formed a single handsign. "Kage Bunshin no Jutsu." he said as 3 clones appeared in the distance. His appearance began to change back into the raggedy snake-like manifestation signifying that he entered sage mode.
The clones ran in at him and his task was to dodge and battle against to prove his transformation was worthy of completion. Blows began to fly and Watari simply knocked them away. He began thinking of ways to use natural energy for the offensive. The clones came at him in a very simple manner, one centered with the other two on either side. They were planning a simple pincer manuver.
Watari remained still but kept his eyes on the clones, gathering a sizable amount of natural energy in his stomach. He lept back and fired a massive amount of purple liquid that collided with the middle clone. "Seijin Mo-do Houmen!" [Sage Mode Release: Poison Spit] He yelled as the clone dropped in pain and poofed. The other two however would be a problem. One revealed his sharingan and drew a kunai taking the back flank. The other charged forwards handling a rasengan.
He opened his mouth once again and this time a flurry of poisoned fangs fired from his mouth. "Sage Mode Realse: Snake projectile!" The clone in front simply leaped forward into the air to dodge the barraged of fangs while the one in the back deflected them with a kunai, missing one and causing it to poof away. The above clone continued to decend downwards and seemingly right on top of Watari.
"Rasengan!" the clone yelled as he collided with the real Watari, leaving a massive crater in the ground, and what appeared to be a broken body. Suddenly the body of Watari began to move, shake gently. It stood only to shake what seemed to be an entire corpse worth of dead skin. Watari had used the natural snake energy to shed his own skin and revive himself. "So, this does work after all. Good." he said as his sharingan changed to the mangekyou. he charged forth with a good raikiri and destroyed the final clone. He exited sage mode as the elders nodded in agreement. "You're the new snake sage hissss. Congratulations." they said slithering off. He then walked back to Sana deactivating sage mode. He gave her a big hug and held her close to him. "I did it, again all with your help." he said smiling. 5/5 unfused sage mode learned

Sana Okazi Sannin - Slug Sage - Medical Master - Hakubi's Legacy Sana smiled warmly as she watched him acquire the first form of sage mode, it would be harder from here, but she was very sure he could do it. She looked at him just as the snak Elder congratulated him, she clapped her hands happily. Then looked at him when he said that she'd helped him, she giggled softly..No, you did it because you have strong will.. Perfect for a Konoha ninja, I'm very glad you came from my old village..Her lips formed into a happy, cute smile. She didn't know why, but this boy had such a strong will. He was determined to learn everything to become stronger, she just hoped that this power he sought, would ruin him like it ruined her son. She looked out at the rest of the temple, smiling softly..You will be the start of a very prosperous generation..She was talking about his will to go on, if and when he actually decided to have a girlfriend and a family, she knew his offspring would be just like him. She hoped he found a rather, strong-willed woman just like him. Because she remembered a conversation Watari and her had back at her husband's house, he had said finding a woman wasn't his thing, nor was a family.. His better judgement was strong.
